Conctacting a Congressman
I didnt tell them im 15, which but anyways. The Reso and the Act are the same thing. I KNOW that you have to get congress to say go to war BUT, mind you the war started when? New Congress members in office now eh? They see whats happening and now they can rethink. I know like I sound like one of thoe people whos gonna camp outside Bush's house, but im Really neutreul about it all. The Secretary said thats a VERY good question- im not tryign to make my self sound super sophisticated cuz I cant even spell the word but IMO that was a decent enough question to get a response back SOMEHOW/ SOME WAY/SOME ONE from within the congress. Yah basically what its about is the president is allowed to send troops wherever he wants but if it isn't approved by congress withing 2 months, all troops must leave. Sadly, due to a rise in power in the executive branch we haven't "officially" declared war since we did it to Japan back in WW2. I personally have emailed my senator's/representative's 30+ times on different legislation even though im only 17. I usually get a responce back iwthin a few days. Usually its from a staff member but sometimes its from the congressman himself. If you worried about not getting your voice heard dont worry....a government teacher of mine was friends with a congressmen and she explained to me how it works. Basically, usually the congressman will never see your original email\letter. But, secretaries have to report at the end of the day the content of the emails\letters that came in. The congressmen will then briefly give his opinion to his secretary and the secretary will type up a responce. Also, the congressman is free to view the letter\email should he choose too.

Tip.It Times - Total amount of GP in RS?
Newer players always think prices have rise when they play the game longer. This is just *not* true. The prices on materials have not increased in ages. Prices on coal when I started were 200gp each (2.75 years ago) it was 220 per right before runescape 2, and was 180 per shortly after. Ever since rs2 it has been somewhere in the range of 150 - 180gp. You remembering them being 100gp each when you started was just the prices you got when selling 100 coal. Yes ofcourse, 100 coal goes at a considerably lower price - that has nothing to do with prices increasing, but with you looking at bulk prices now, instead of small amounts ;). Ahh how true that is, plus I should have also factored in my lack of knowledge when first entering the game, like the time I believed someone when he told be my chaos and nats were worth only 50 each :? . Some people like me find discussing inflation and the state of the rs economy is fun. Theres nothing we need to really "snap back" from  . If you actually take time to read the post's, theres nothing greedy or "luxerious" about them. You say we are trying to prevent lower levels from making money by decreasing the amount of gp coming into the economy, but really one can argue that we are trying to achive the opposite. Think about it this way: a year ago in december and january (depending on when you bought it) were around 400-600k. With this in mind, some low-medium lvl player could easily have cut 2k yews and bought themselves a santa. Now santas are around the range of 5m, so that same low-medium lvl player now has to cut a little over 16.5k yews. How did that inflation on the santa make it easier for you to attain a rare? As for just dropping a couple million from our bank, it would be pointless. As you can see, with around 1b coming into the economy daily, it wouldn't even make a dent  . If more money is flowing into the economy, wouldn't that only increase the price of rares which would in turn make us more "rich"? And by us getting "richer", wouldn't that defeat the point? Woot im dutch too :D .......... I live in the states though and I can't speak the language

Who's in your wallet?
I only talk to about 10 people so theres really no point for me to, the rest is people i've bought and sold to. 8pgs and no one yet

Tip.It Times - Total amount of GP in RS?
I know I personally wouldn't mind a poker addition to the bunthorpe games room which you can bet on. I would just suggest a time limit that your allowed to be their as some people are pro's, and others can be addicted.

Tip.It Times - Total amount of GP in RS?
lol what do i win :D ? As for a rise in the player to player prices, the result would be a rise in the amount of people gathering items for themselves. This in turn would lower prices and we will have the cycle all over again. We would see much rising and falling, but in the long run an overall rising.

Tip.It Times - Total amount of GP in RS?
So what happens if you dont pay it back? You get banned?muted?cant withdraw until its payed? I have a feeling that if you can borrow money from the bank that it would be disasterous. Lets just say that for every gp you have, you can borrow 4 more. So I could easily transfer my 11m to a noob account and "borrow" 33m from the bank. Then I can go out buy a red phat and transfer it to my main. Who cares if the noob gets banned/muted/unable to withdraw items. But because of this noob account, i was easily able to leech of the system and get myself a red phat. And think, if i wanted to, I could keep this going. I could quickly sell the phat for 40m, transfer to new noob, borrow 120m, transfer to main, let noob account rot.......this can go on forever. What I forsee jagex doing to correct the economy is nothing. I think that they plan on the economy correcting itself because of high alching and manipulation of rares. Eventually there will be enough money in the economy from high alching that prices on regular items will be forced to go up. When those items go up, high alching is less profitable. Lets just say that you buy some yews for 300 each now, flax for 100 each, and nats for 300 each. With that you can make about 40k profit without collecting a single item. Now if prices rise, what will you do when yews become 500 each, flax 250 each, and nats 500 each also. Now what would you do it that were to occur? Well obviously you would either stop alching or start collecting all your items. When this happen's on a large scale, the average amount of money coming into the economy lessens everyday. As for those who say that the price on regular items never increase. Well I remember back when I first started in November of last year, one could easily buy/sell coal for 100 each. Now the price on coal is around 160 each. Also, you could buy yews back in january for 220 each and now they sell for 300 each. im done for now :D

Tip.It Times - Total amount of GP in RS?
Different people like different things, and its impossible to please everyone everytime. If you didn't like it no need to flame and say you'll never read it again, just say it was a good and new idea but you found it confusing and you prefer the articles of past weeks better.

Tip.It Times - Total amount of GP in RS?
Yep as apinagez already highlighted on, items have no factor on the amount of gp in the game. Sure they have value, but the item only represents a certain amount of gp, not the gp themselves.

woot I have .0025 percent of the overall gp on rs. :? good essay (its not really a "guide" is it?), I would have never thought about making one. Nor would i have had the patience to type all that out :) .

games room addition
Idk if this has been preposed before, but I think it would be cool if there was a game room update where you could play poker or blackjack, and such and bet on your hands/the game using your gp. any thoughts?

stolen sigs.
I found a stolen sig on runehq from a user that rightfully owns it here. If im correct it belongs to a mod (its the one where a chompy is holding a knife at a wanted sign that says "serial chomp killer 10m gp"). What im wondering is what I should do about it.

Money Drain
wow i forgot about me posting this 8) . Anyways, the person in change of paying or the 2 people in charge of paying (if the clans were splitting the cost) would give jagex the list of people to be invited/allowed in. This way, no non-clan members could get in. And for new clan members that might not have gotten on the list in time, jagex can give a certain amount of 'castle war rings' to the person in charge so that you can still get in.

Money Drain
Well as many money drain ideas have been preposed, I have come up with a new one thats fairly simple. One world. At one world, Jagex should make castle wars for rent. The cost would be like 750k per game. Clans can get together and fight each other and have a true clan war. Also, the money taken out of the game would not be too much to where it could damage the rs economy and cause deflation. Any thoughts?

f2p special attacks
Rediculous, plain and simple. As a member now, and former f2p'r, the only thing I feel that f2p'rs should get is like 1 more line of bank space and wildly capes. Thats it.
