  1. ring of dueling =) Nice stuff man , whats your cb or rsn ?
  2. Number 3 : Number 2 : Number 1 : Rate and CNC =)
  3. It takes time to get used to it . Brushing . Not anything random though . I take my time doing backgrounds . I dont make my own abstract renders due to the face that those 3d tools are damn expensive and i dont want to use pirated software . Thanks =)
  4. Blending .... Yeah it could use a bit of that =) Its for my clan forums . I usually flame any idiot to have a signature that is too large and i dont want any fingers pointing at me when i critizize their signatures . ( im the co-leader , i lead by example ) um .... true , the layout isnt that great .... Keep the comments rolling !
  5. Rate =) Its tip.it proportions just possibly not the file size  . CNC pl0x =)
  6. Yeah , i agree .... It seems very .... im not sure how to put it ... cut and paste ? Not original . Try harder dude :)
  7. Its not THAT bad for a second sig . But very bad for anyone with an ounce of talent .
  8. Ok , im really sorry that i have to say all this . I hate to burst your bubble , but that signature is not that good . 1. The background is too plain . Try using filter->render->clouds and then brushing over that ( provided your using some form of photoshop ) . 2. The image is too big . You cant use that image in any proper forum . 3. you need to blend the renders in ... The guy on the right side of the picture looks cut and paste . Use the various blurs . Try selecting the image then inversing it . Afterwhich add a diffuse glow to it . 4. Your font is too plain . In some sigs it would look quite good but not in yours . Try right clicking on the text layer and choosing blending properties . 5. Join a good GFX site . They most likely would have really good designers you can learn from . Also , there would be a myriad of resources there . Try http://www.climb-x.com for one . Its a great GFX site with ltos of great designers who are willing to help you . This isnt blasting tip.it designers , you guys are good , but not the best .
  9. Vector isnt easy to do . Some people just have natural talent with it and it flows from their fingers/mouse/tablet . Check out http://www.climb-x.com . Thats one good gfx site . Look in their Show Off section . Now thats hard . Id like to see you do them . The art here on tip.it is nothing . Broaden your horizons . True , i would say there are alot of great gfx'ers here . But , they can only do so much as to improve the art scene here . You have to educate the people who WANT those signatures . Its not use arguing with the artist . Also , everyone has a different perspective . You might think that your perspective is the only and only correct one . Your wrong , dead wrong . Everyone's likes and dislikes are different . As is their skills . You cant condemn them . Its not easy to do signatures like guns does . Yeah sure , there might be alot of styles , but one can only excel at what hes good at . I would do vectors myself , if i could afford a better version of photoshop/ illustrator . A man is limited to what he can do by his tools . Im sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings in the process of this post . I just had to say all this . Regards , pkedmage
  10. Damn dude ... there are alot of scribble sites where you can put you msg or error and other ppl can read it at the link you give . Scrolling down that page is a eyesore , its much neater to post a link and your not burdening tip.it servers.
  11. I believe Linux is better . The kernel is very good and the community is great. As for distro , id go with Gentoo . Ive done a Stage 3 installation . Complied my own kernel . Was running sweet till i accidentally reformatted the partitons... So im in Ubuntu for the time being. Both communites are swell. I also had a Windows XP box , its not bad , the rest of my family uses it. Ive been using Windows since i was 2 . So you guys cant say im biased . just my 0.2c ugotpkedmage
