well I've had a few ideas, like: and

looks great BUT one peice of advice... once you make your first selection for one of those boxes in your border or one of these: /|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|\ use the arrow keys to move the same selection accross and pressing the delete button every 3/4 spaces. (or untill there's a good even gap in-between each [bleep]e) This will help it look more even and give it a better feel... (if u get what i mean)
-
errrm.. like i said, bacic ideas, as i aint the best pixel artist around... (more into abstract/tecno/grunge/etc...)
-
Well, i know I"m not the best at pixel art, but i want a few ideas for a new design... anyone? oh and don't make it too complicated and this is pretty much a free pixel sig thing, once i make it, whoseva idea i choose to do gets to keep it ... Pixel progress: 1.COMPLETE 2.NEED IDEAS!!!!!

Ok, in this tut, I'll be showing you how to make awesome tech borders just like the one below: Ok, lets start: 1. Create a new document in photoshop to whateva size you desire. I've chosen 300X150 2. ok now create a new layer, we'll call it "border1" and fill it in with black ("alt-backspace" on the border 1 layer) 3. now use the polygonal lasso tool (located next to the magic wand) and cut out a design that you're happy with. Remember to always hold down "shift" whilst cutting out to keep nice 45 degree lines and give it that "tech" look. 4. once you are happy, press the "delete" button on your keyboard. this should give us the bace of our border. then hold down "alt-D" to de-select your border. this is what i have so far: 5. ok now to start cutting out your borders design. Use the polygonal lasso tool to make a few shapes into your border, don't rush it, as it may take some time. TIP: zoom in close to get the fine details of the border also, use your arrow keys when doing the multiple ingravements to get equal spacings inbetween each one. 6. If you want, you can repeat all the steps again to create another border behind this one(name the layer "border2"). But if you do so, only create parts of the border to go behind it, and don't put too much work into it. yes i know i looks weird, but it will get much better 7. ok now for some detail to finish it up. on the layer "Border1" right click on it and go to "blending options" now incert these layer styles: 8. IF you did a second border, right click on the layer "Border1" and select "copy layer style" and the right click on "border2" and select "paste layer style" 9. If you want to add some colour to it, go to the blending options again and select "colour overlay" then make it the colour of your choice. so finishes my tutorial, oh and the finished product... Of cource i needs a background, a bit of brushing and a few colour balance layers should so the trick. like this... (not the best, but It'll do...)

umm, no actually, i used 3DSM... any way, any more c/c?
-
well that was nice... [/sarcasim] And if you just hang around the media discussion forums, you would probally think that, i don't really post my best works here... (check out my shop, lol) But any wayz, any more c/c?
-
Well, i think it's ok for a first try at 3D abstract... Rate and c/c plz...
-
thanks, I do make banners too, check out my shop It has a PNG alpha layer, in any browser except IE (Firefox, Netscape, Opera etc) it looks great ;) and yes it is a png file with the alpha layer. (that means the white bit is transparent...) thanks for the feed bank all, really appreciate it :D

Just wondering what you all thought of this pop out sig of a f430 rate and c/c plz...
-
New colours, what do ya think? (still a bit dull though, lol)
-
or no picture would be better. But meh, people are going to do it regaurdless of what I say, so i can only try and help them in other ways. Anyways, right now its very dull. The plain Ctr+U way of coloring makes it very dull, because it is just that, one plain simple color. A hint, try out Ctr+B after you just normaly colorize it. Using Ctr+B for additonal coloring helps a ton. if you look carefully, it's actually a bit of cyan and green... i mixed it using colour balance layers, and a cloud render, so it sort of mixes it a bit...

ROFL! i just found out that was link...

on topic: Well it's pretty good, but i have to admit she does look pretty fat... but for a background, she might be coming out of some house in wildy... or something like that, or she's in a battle arena and has just taken off her helm to reveal her true self... (sry for the bad ideas, lol, i need to get to bed...) off topic: "that lady's so fat she had to be baptised in seaworld..." no offence, but she does look fat. And sorry to all those people who took offence to that joke, if it disturbs anyone i will never do that again... lol
-
errrmm, they sort of look like those high elf warriors from LOTR warhammer...
-
I used that game wallpaper and rendered it, then used the triforce font. Used a few Hue/satuation layers and a bit of brushing and viola. Sort of used to avertise my shop, lol.
-
ok, thanks for the c/c. (didn't get that much of a score...) Was trying to go for something different by putting the runeite rocks near the river or something lost the file of it, so all my work has pretty much gone down the drain...
-
UPDATED: GOlem saying "raggh flee human" and smoke coming from the runite rock...
