I just love Nightwish. Too bad that they fired Tarja. And about the style.. I hang around in a lot of forums. So far I've seen that most of the people classify Nightwish's first albums ("Angels fall first", "Oceanborn" and "Wishmaster") as power metal. But "Once" is usually labeled as gothic rock. Aaanndd... http://www.metal-archives.com/ Just search Nightwish and you'll get results saying that Nightwish is.. The really fast melodies on synthesizers and on guitars just prove that Nightwish is at least partly power metal.
