Their still lazy when it comes to customer support though. Jagex is infamous for their automated responses. And btw, I'm a member. Its just that I would run things differently if I ran RS.

Yes, its legal. As long as it doesn't alter the game itself. A couple legal ones are Runescape Xplorer and Swift Switch.

Auctually, when you log on a free server after being in a members area on a members server, you log back on in Lumbridge. Anyways, as for the idea. Its pretty interesting. Not sure how well it will work, but I dont see any harm in trying. Other games do things like this.

I'd say 2%...3% perhaps...click those adverts. Have you ever been part of a referal program? Ever wondered how much per click companies receive? It's the fragment of a penny/cence/whatever. Wow, thanks for keeping those servers running, it's a wonder why p2p was introduced in the first place :| Actually just displaying the ads also generates money most of the time. So there's about 50-60 free servers, about 1k up to almost 2k people in each one. That's about 50-100k people viewing the ads about the same time. It still isn't much money, but it adds up. Possibly enough to keep a lot of the free servers self sustaining.

Hehe, just 5 paragraphs? I could write a best selling novel on why f2p should not get updates such as this. I'm sorry, but I true-even-to-death believe that if you can't pay for it, Jagex can't provide it. This isn't a charity they run, people...it is a business. I guess it would be a fiction novel. Because you seem to forget, the ads support the game, too.

I think f2p definitely needs more bank space. Every time I take a break from p2p I always have to get rid of so much stuff just so I can put a couple things in there. Or if the pure p2p's want to complain about that. At least make it that members objects dont count as used spaces in f2p worlds.

No way. We dont need lvl 120 somthings camping that place.

This is a suggestion thread in a suggestion forum. I dont see any reason to lock it. Nor have I seen any good counterargument reasons to lock it.

I agree completly. F2P has been neglected alot when it comes to updates. Im suprised how little support this is getting. :?
