i've had some sick luck at barrows. I get an item every 6.5 chests, approximately i always do 20 Kc

i could possibly record drops from 50 runs of 20 kc, i've been doing ok and i'm almost done 50 of em

Hey I'd like to express my surprise at discovering the lack of information on Tip.it or the forums concerning the Kalphite Queen. I am considering going to the KQ with a friend and would really like anyone experienced in the matter to post pictures, videos or just helpful hints/guides that could assist anyone in killing the Kalphite Queen I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who would really appreciate the help. i think the title says it all, what levels would you suggest, particularly for a two person team

couple weeks ago i got whip, dmed, glory, obby cape and wealth from a guy. i know how you feel, what a euphoric sensation :D not unlike a barrows drop

this is a pretty good topic running here, i don't worry about the odd spam post, lets just focus on the task at hand

i think its smart to stick to one specific kill count, such as 15, 20, 25 or even something random like 21. that way, the results are based entirely on that kill count... and as an extra: my barrows drops have now paid for all of my prayer pots and other gear, anything i make with the last 203 prayer potions is all profit for meeee

urrrrg i've been sick all weekend, not totally awesome... but today i've got pretty much the whole day to do runs, so we'll see what happens

...aaaaaand i got sick of training, went back to barrows. i guess my new goal is a dragon chain hahaha i'm at about 13.5 mil, so i'm like 8-10 mil off i guess, and i don't just want a chain so maybe full drag...

i've taken a short break from barrows to do a bit of training with my new full guthans! w00tz0rz!

don't worry axe man, i'm using full rune then switching when i need health, it will hopefully last me a long time

i think i may have come up with some solution to the KC discussion... In my humble opinion, whether or not you get an item is COMPLETELY random. It doesn't matter what monsters you kill, what order you kill the brothers, how many monsters you kill, it is random every single time you open that chest. We all have our various... superstitions (such as myself. i get a 20 KC, open the chest after the 19th one and kill the 20th right on the chest pedestal), but in the end, only one thing can be derived: Barrows is a fun way to make money, meet cool people and even get a little mage training in. It is fast paced, action packed, and exciting! More experiments should be done just so more people get the chance to do more barrows runs! haha thats just my two cents - Onanica

excellent! i try to get a diverse number of monsters, and i've been getting erratic drops!!! example: i kill 14 monsters extra to get my 20 kill count, i kill 4 skeletons, 4 spiders, 4 bloodworms and 2 rats, and i get 110 bolt racks! the next run i do about the same, get no boltracks, but 80 bloods and close to 250 chaos! its so weird... i need to figure out what gives each rune and such, it'd be a great thing for me to tabulate... BTW!: laikrob, half of my family is from Danmark. my father was born in Aarhus

I've got a crazy thought here. On each run I take 500 deaths and 2k minds for magic dart. I usually have a deficit (especially on minds), however, on my last run i killed more than usual bloodworms and had several more deaths AND minds. I had a couple of bloods (43), but no boltracks, a drop i usually get a substantial amount of. I think it can be assumed that different monsters in the tunnels drop different items? If you are going to be racking up a decent KC, try to make it on only one type of monster and record if you get more than usual of one reward. it'd be great to know which monster drops bracks (could be skellies or spiders, hoping spiders)... thanks alot

whats the advantage of having full veracs at, say, 90 or 92 combat? i'm 97 myself and i have found most people say kq killing should be attempted at about 100 cmbt. perhaps you could enlighten me. i'm sure theres something i'm missing, or do you just want it for your collection? :D

Wasn't it confirmed that ROW doesn't help luck at barrows? I did 3 runs today at 20 KC each time and on the second run, got guthans helm. instead of ROW i use a ring of life (just incase dharok hits really high), and i find it works great. if it is proven that one KC works better than another, satenza I hope you redo with 10 and 20 KC, just to see what kind of results you can get with those. i think that tip.it needs more comprehensive guides when relating to the rates of things that as of now are deemed "random". The information presented in this post could, if not now but down the road, help tip.it create a far more useful guide. Also, does a higher prayer level help when doing barrows? I think that it really would, and, in the long run after saving pray pots, could eventually pay off even if you buy the bones! I am currently 55 prayer and it would cost about 540k in big bones to get to 60. This translates into about 77 or 78 pray pots at todays costs. I regret to inform that i use a whole 6 pots (18 doses) to do one barrows run. Since barrows recharges your prayer 33% each dose, at level 60 prayer i could be getting at least one more prayer point per dose. after several hundred runs, this would really pay off! moreso for even higher prayer levels. let me know what all of you think
