Hi, for some reason the high detail version of runescape doesn't work at all. Even after a reformat. This is the screen that I get stuck on: It says loading please wait but it never changes, just stays like that. Low Detail works fine and my computer is way more than confident for playing at high detail. Any ideas? (both Firefox and IE get the same problem)

if you want future proofing, upgrade your motherboard and processor to be compliant with PCI-E motherboards, that way you can use faster cards, the actual PCI-E port itself is theoretically faster but the actual difference in performance is neglible

if you want a really geeky definition of processor, it is a device used to manipulate data and code into a form of representational data which humans can understand

there isn't really much of a speed difference although S-ATA is supposed to be faster, but it requires drivers whereas IDE drives just need to be set to master or slave. Cache is a type of memory built onto the Hard Disc where it can handle chunks of data, the higher it is the better

personally, i just respond to the first post as a dedicated answer, if I wanted to create a contributed answer, i would, either the 6600gt or an X800XL would be a very good choice

oh dear, you have a celeron, unless you want to overclock it i'd suggest getting a new motherboard and processor, usually processors dont hinder games performance but the celeron is a typical example of a processor that does lower games performance opposed to an Athlon or Pentium

you need a graphics card which has 2 ports on it, or another graphics card, then you just need to set the driver settings to clone the display

that computer looks fine to me, a better video card and another stick of 512mb RAM would do it great, CPU is fine

yea, you could just get an extension cable from somewhere

the x300 is a shockingly bad card, you're better off spending a little extra and getting a 6600gt
