Rush are the ultimate band, they do what Dream Theater fail at doing, Rush pull off complex musical passages, odd time signatures and tasteful singing flawlessly and make it actually sound good whereas as Dream Theater mess it up.

Primus are one of my favourite bands even if i'd disagree with calling the funk metal, very few of their songs are metal influenced and the best category for primus is simply "Alternate Rock" even though technically, Primus itself is a genre. Old Red Hot Chili Peppers isn't Funk Metal, if anything, it was the only time when RHCP were actually Funk since everything after that period was Rock using influences of funk with their current stuff being Pop influenced by Funk and Rock. My favourite funk metal band is probably Gordian Knot

This is what I'm talking out. Why would you say something like that? i'll explain when you answer my question My friends used to have a problem with it. They don't really anymore, though. I'm still not completely sure if they have stopped, but they have certainly cut down a lot. Now, why is that funny? Don't give me any "what they're doing to themselves/why they feel they must do it is funny" crap. Self harm is always frowned upon as desperate and selfish. It is desperate because the people who do it feel they cannot resolve their problems and instead subdue it through cutting themselves, this isn't good for a few reasons. The problem isn't sorted out. It is dangerous and therefore stupid. Makes me look down upon you which isn't good considering you already feel people look down upon you. It is also selfish because people who self harm don't really know what sorta thing they're getting themselves into. Though you'd like to think only you are aware of the habbit, often your parents can see a problem, how do you think they feel knowing they have a depressed son/daughter who can only express themselves through hurting themselves instead of speaking to them? That's how I feel about it anyway, everyone has got problems, currently i'm feeling a bit emo myself lately so the best thing to do what I do is talk to someone about it. As for the [bleep] who laughs at you (even though as previously mentioned, i'd do the same), he isn't particularly clever but he isn't stupid either. Atleast he acknowledges it as a problem
