Nah, with full surround sound and in a dark room. :ohnoes: Definately, except Resident Evil, that games' cheesey Silent Hill then. ;) snap :)

well, they do something with it, who cares? if it wasn't for the starving people in africa, we'd have a load more crazy Christian Missionaries cleaning their consciences over there spreading the word of Jesus to all who live in mud huts and stick bones through their ears

that's the lame excuse for music that was playing while you watched it. I thought it was just as typical as an oxfam advert Yeah, that's what you thought, stop insulting my opinions now please? No need to be quite so hyper sensitive issy2  I've heard those statistics before, but what are we supposed to do about it? what can we do? nothing... you actually can do something, donating ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã2 or $2 or whatever a month does indeed help, it doesn't solve all of lives' problems, but it certainly helps

because im a bassist and in my opinion, you cannot judge bassists in metal simply because metal isn't based upon groove like all over genres of music. Bass is a groove orientated instrument, when you say a bassist is good, you judge them by two things: groove and technicality. For one, Cannibal Corpse is a metal band so we cannot comment on Alex Webster's groove. On the other hand, Cannibal Corpse doesn't have very technical passages at all (making them a fairly typical death metal band if it wasn't for their stylistic vocals and themes). Ofcourse we can't completely judge his technicality but seeing as Cannibal Corpse is his only band, we can make a pretty safe judgement that he isn't the best bassist in metal. For technicality, John Myung of Dream Theater or Lars Norberg from Spiral Architect win hands down with maybe Steve Digiorgio trailing behind with his sloppy fretless playing. John Myung being in a rock/metal band has some songs where he grooves and though he isn't very good at improvisation, he tries so you can logically say John Myung is the best bassist in Metal. He certainly isn't the best in the world or even close however. k? thx

I thought it was just as typical as an oxfam advert Yeah, that's what you thought, stop insulting my opinions now please? i wasn't insulting your opinions, if I was insulting your opinions i'd say something like "you're an idiot for feeling sorry for some people that have it worse than you, you are a westerner, everyone has it worse than you, so stop complaining and be greatful of what you do have cos unlike millions of the doomed children on this planet, you ate breakfast this morning"

So... When you manage to play in five bands, have a lot of money, have a pretty wife, and have a family, you still fail at life? :-k i'd say so yes

24 hours is easy, shouldn't be too hard, once you hit the 30 hour mark it starts to get to you, coffee works wonders, stay away from alcohol and weed, that'll make you more tired

probably Guy Ritchie, he does a very good job at portraying a mood with camera angles and music

No, I disagree ridiculously, Gungrave is possibly the cruelest thing I have watched, Episodes 1-16/17 are fantastic, but the episodes to follow completely ruin the entire anime. I agree with the guy who said the only good anime doesn't exist. Anime is filled with ignorant stereotypes, bad cliches and lack of originality which the pretentious nerds who watch it obsess over. Though ofcourse there are a few quality anime series and films out there, a huge majority of them are incredibly unoriginal, lack any yearn for intuitiveness and creativity and end up being a de-va-vu. I'm not just talking about the "main stream animes" (whatever that means?), this happens with about 90% of them. And then when you finally do get something a little out of the ordinary (Neon Genesis Evangelion comes to mind). They get so far up their own arse trying to give an abstract ending that you start saying it's good simply because you're insignificant little brain can't grasp basic concepts that are presented to you in stupidly difficult ways. /rant

WoW is technically a better game for the following reasons: It's made by a much larger company, It's updates add much more content than Runescape, It's graphics are much better yet it's compatible with a large variety of systems (this one is actually crucial to any games' success), It has the advantage of having a large community, The interface is very customisable and can be made to suit any dork, geek or playa, The musical score is a lot better, It has a huge amount of depth, Compared to runescape, there isn't any grind, It has a huge emphasis on playing with other players which is ultimately why you play a multiplayer game, runescape rarely does this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are probably millions of reasons why World of Warcraft is better, i've pointed out the main ones. Compared to World of Warcraft, Runescape is complete crap, the main criticism of Runescape is that it's not actually fun to play, it's core gameplay feature is grinding, the only fun to be had is when you put vast amounts of time grinding away at the game. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- However, runescape does have a few things that make it popular: It has a free version (not a free trial, you can actually play runescape for free, this makes it's available to anyone), Though the game is based on grinding, the reward usually is worth it (unfortunately, most rewards ultimately end up in more grinding), It's economy is vastly superior to the economy World of Warcraft tries to have, Because you can play on any server, playing with friends is easy, you can change realm on World of Warcraft but it's quite expensive and changing realms till you find a decent realm on WoW happens quite often when you make a new character. Runescape's premium version is cheaper than WoW (̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5 as opposed to ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã9 a month). I've played both games quite a while and personally, WoW is much more fun, nothing beats joining a guild and taking part in 40man dungeon raids, nothing beats the feeling of getting an item with a 1/50 chance to drop in a 3 hour dungeon. Sure Everquest has 72 man (i think) raids in dungeons, but everquest is lame and has too much grind. Runescape was fun when I played it with my friends, but after wasting much of my life grinding, i realised that I should be having fun with my monthly payment to jagex, so i swiftly cancelled and looked for a new game. I wouldn't mind criticise, a way to further my point.

Man, you're too much of an elitest. I definetly don't listen to slipknot, or blink 182, but to assume a band's talent is immedietly cut off the moment they become to popular for one's taste is just flat out not fair. :o you could say that but the ultimate irony is that Joey Jordison, Travis Barker and Lars Ulrich all fail at life

Sure gospel music is popular, though not restricted to, gospel is stereotypically black christian music http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_gospel as you can see, Gospel is a sub genre of christian music. Amen

Vinnie Colauita of Chick Corea, Tomas Haake of Meshuggah or Neil Peart are the best drummers in the world in my opinion. It's also my opinion that Joey of Slipknot sucks, Mike Portnoy is overrated and nobody cares for the Trivium drummer :P

How can you try to play RHCP if you've been playing for 7 years out of curiosity? i mean, John Frusciante isn't exactly Shawn Lane is he?

I would appreciate it if people gave reasons for their opinions. I have a Fender Acoustic and it plays like gold, and is worth $1000 more than I paid for it. Just saying "All Fenders are crap and are ugly and play lame" makes your opinion look rubbish. Taste in music is very subjective. Just because you think it is terrible doesn't mean I will. To each his own I guess. What is the cost of this "midrange Ibanez?" I gave my range as up to $1000 - does this mean pushing it would put me over that? And when I said Fender Strat/Tele, that would include the American Series, which is a midrange as well. (I did play the Ibanez Artcore and loved it - I'm not "hellbent" on Fender - I've just had good experiences with them in the past and see nothing wrong with continuing to buy from them). It's not musical taste though, I love John Mayer, but from a technical view point, his electric guitar tone (not music, his tone) is horrible, he uses way to much treble and it becomes a Hi-Fi mess. It's weird because his acoustic guitar tone is lovely. Fender guitars aren't bad, they have a very specific tone and if you like that tone, there is no reason why a fender guitar isn't for you (unless you want a 24fret fingerboard). However for people like me (though im a bassist, it still applies) who plays Jazz, Metal, Funk and Rock, having a guitar with much versatility to the tone is incredibly necessary, and sadly Fenders lack this versatility. The price of the ibanez in Britain is around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã250-300 so it's probably around $400-500 because you yanks get it cheap :) It's a really solid guitar though, i'd reccomend a seven string since being able to get an Eb without down tuning is quite essential for some forms of music. Plus they're obviously great for metal (though I recommend you don't think the lower the note, the more METAL!!!! \../ it is). Hope that helps

How on earth did John Mayer's electric playing make you want to get an Electric, if anything, it should've done the opposite. John Mayer's Electric tone is horrible, horrible!. His acoustic playing is so much better. Fender strats are definately nice guitars but if you can push it a bit, a midrange Ibanez will be much better. The 6 string version of this: has incredible tone considering how much it costs, brilliant for Jazz and rock

aha, I got here 1. 9(2x+3) > 10 18x+27 > 10 18x +27 (-27) > 10 (-27) 18x > -17 x > -17/18 what went wrong? That seems right. Oh fix the -9 Remember to use the distubutive property with the 9(x2+3). So it would be 9*2x + 9*3 That's what I did Didn't notice that minus, thought it was the - "bla bla bla" kinda of hyphon. So... - 9(2x+3) > 10 -18x + -27 > 10 -18x > 37 x > 37/-18 That it? The Windows Calculator is useless, i can't seem to do negative numbers on it
