  1. Neither of you will ever get banned unless you break an actual rule.. The thread creator either doesn't know what he is talking about, or indeed someone who wants to trade with his other account, or cheat in some way.
  2. I can a MILLION percent confirm that Jagex won't ban you if you are playing with your family members/school/internet cafe/etc... I know this for sure. They watch very carefully. If someone has been banned then they HAVE broken a rule.
  3. I got it in classic, when you couldn't even equip it.. I'm so happy I held on to it. #-o
  4. Dragon large helmet would be easier to get than dragon chain, obviously.. Also several monsters drop medium helmets.
  5. I spent what, 10 seconds quickly drawing it on MS Paint? I only wanted to give a rough idea of what I feel it should look like, not create a work of art.
  6. whenever? , u mean never. Jagex has said stop suggesting this and that they aren't going to make any more dragon armor. good effort in the pictures though. Jagex NEVER said they wouldn't make more dragon armour. They will make dragon versions of all the lesser equipment.
  7. Here is a quick image I drew of what I feel the Dragon Large helmet should look like. I put the dragon medium next to it so people could compare them. I didn't really add any horns into the dragon large because I couldn't really see any place that they were really needed... Anyways, what do you guys think of my idea for its appearance?
  8. Obviously you're not thinking things through.. Jagex would most likely make it so you have to be within a certain combat level of all your party members.. Such as a 15 higher, and 15 lower.. A level 90 can team with a 75, but not a 74.
  9. Player moderators do NOT need to have knowledge about everything RuneScape. They are not walking around to help you on quests. They are only there to report trouble makers that they see. They do NOT need to help you at all.. In fact they are within their right to tell you to screw off if you need help with a quest. :boohoo:
  10. Jagex does indeed look at RuneScape fansites. You could just as easily make this freaking comment to everyones suggestion. Your post was completly pointless and made you look like an idiot.
  11. Okay guys. Andrew confirmed they are working on another skill, and they always have at least one skill they are working on. So there deffiniatly will be more skills in RuneScape.
  12. Every party based MMO i can think of you can see your members life..be it planetside, shadowbane, WoW.... This sounds like a decent idea though, even if the spelling in the property window for "features" is spelled wrong Jagex would obviously fix any spelling if they used this idea or an idea similiar to it....... They don't just copy other peoples images, and don't do anything themselves. You are just trying to rub a spelling mistake in his face which is rude. :shame:
  13. Ya it would be cool!
  14. I see you listed examples that already ingame, maybe think up some level requirements, and/or other skills and materials, for new items and throw a list together. I don't think you understand what I said. I was trying to prove to all the numskulls that RuneScape isn't prehistoric.
  15. Ya. I like the + much more than the crown.. Not only does it look better, it was also too pmod/jmody before.. I think Jagex actually mentioned a party system a while back, but they never actually gave it to us. #-o Ohya.. The + sign looks great in the actual list.. But as for a button I think this might work better: (You can use it if you want.. I just think a flag would be more noticeable than a little + sign)
  16. If people want to get in online relationships they should get to know each other first..... Not just walk into a bank and say "Lookin 4 bf 2 gif me free stoff". :shame: The two most popular scams are "looking for bf" and "I was hacked".. You can NOT get hacked in RuneScape.. You were either scammed, or you went to a site you shouldn't of gone to and either a) Used your same username/password, or B) downloaded a keylogger.
  17. I posted several examples of why RuneScape is a fantasy game, and how it has advanced technowledgy in it on RuneVillage.. I decided to update this first post with the exact same thing I said there. Please take the time to read all the things in RuneScape that prove there is much more technowledgy then these noobs seem to think.
  18. Have you ever played a golfing game before? :shame: It could easily be added into RuneScape.
  19. Please remember the dwarf cannon, the dwarf drill, Gnome Fixed Device(Bazooka), Gnome Gliders, Gnome Battleships, the lost technowledgy underneith seers, the golems(They are robots made far in the past), etc... Dwarfs and Gnomes do indeed have the technowledgy to make projectile weapons, airships, and much-much more. But as I said already.. It was only for how it can be layed out so Jagex wouldn't need a scroll bar. The two skills I gave were simply examples. Also there is enough room for 4 skills underneith the current ones.. But that's just incase Jagex ever finds the need to create more than 2 new skills. ALSO!!! Who was the person who said RuneScape was a medieval game???? Jagex has stated a million times that RuneScape is fantasy. If they wanted to they could have UFO's bombarding Falador, and laser guns. Have you people honestly forgotten about the Final Fantasy games? They too are fantasy, and centred around the medieval time line.. However they have technowledgy built into them as well.
  20. Wonder what we'd do for golf carts though.. :?
  21. I got the idea for the Tech skill when I was wearing the Gnome Goggles... Don't they just give you the feeling of being a mechanic or someone in a fantasy game that uses guns/technowledgy related weaponry?
  22. Several people are worried that if Jagex adds new skills that they will have to either make the icons incredibly smaller, or add a scroll bar to the status menu. I created a small example of how it could easily fit in two more stats without causing much problems. I also organized the icons in a way I find slightly better.. Top two bars are combat related skills.. Middle bar is non-merchanting skills(Skills where you can't make/catch things and sell them..). Bottom bars are the more merchanting related skills. The above stats and numbers are wrong. Those skills do not equal the total skill level. It is simply for display, and I was too lazy to change all the numbers. Someone wanted to see what it would look like with a black bar in the middle insted of yellow.. Here ya go: The two skill icons are fake and created by myself. They are however the two most likely skills should any new ones be made. Gears = Tech/Engineering(New Combat Skill that allows people to use technowledgy related weaponry/machines/vehicals(airship pilots!)/traps/etc.. Mainly dwarf and gnome weapons. The more gunlike dwarf weapons would also give range exp when you fire them.) Deer = Hunting(Land version of fishing with traps and such..) This suggestion is more for how the stats menu could look.. However many people have decided to comment about how gears weren't invented in the medieval days(Which is wrong, and RuneScape is a fantasy game.. Might I remind you of dwarfs, dragons, magicians, etc..?).. So here is a post I made in this thread earlier on to explain the technowledgy in RuneScape, and how you are an idiot if you don't realize RuneScape is a FANTASY game.. Jagex has stated clearly that RuneScape is a FANTASY game.. You non-gamers have never played a fantasy RPG before(Ie. Final Fantasy 1-13).. Like honestly... Also here are a bunch of things in the game that are too high tech for all those whiners around here(OMG.. A couple of you guys said you'd quit RuneScape if there were any gears, technowledgy, or guns added to RuneScape...... Prepare to quit!): Keldagrim - Geeze.. Have you guys never been to this dwarf city? Dwarf Cannon - It's a projectile weapon.. Call the cops! Ship cannons - Have you seen all the ships with cannons on the side? In fact in one quest we even had to fix the cannons so we could bombard the enemy ship... Fixed Device - This Gnome fixed device is just like a bazooka! The only difference is it fires frogs filled with paint! Elemental Workshop - Have any of you guys ever been underneith Seers Village? Honestly we are looking at lots of technowledgy there alone.. Golems - For those who have an interest in the more desert related quests.. You might recall the golems.. These golems were robots that the Saradominists used to use to wage war on their enemies.. However this lost technowledgy was shunned as being too advanced.. Airship - The wise old man has a model of an airship in his home. Gliders - The gnomes can fly across the sky in gliders.. Ohmy.. Too advanced for your prehistoric brains to comprehend? =D Draw Bridges/Gates/Etc.. - Gears and opening mechinisms line the streets of RuneScape! Metal Press - Remember the Swans Song quest? In that fishing village there is a metal press there.. Dwarf Lifts - In the Misc/Etc dungeons there are steam powered lifts build by the dwarfs. Dwarf Drill - In the Dorgushuun(sp?) quests there is this drill that can drive under ground! Mine Carts - MAGIC!!!! HOW DO THESE THINGS MOVE ACROSS THE RAILS!!! HAX0RS!!!!! Illusion Machine - In the Gnome lands there is a machine that can reveal things that are hidden by using advanced technowledgy and science. Unlike the Ring of Visibility which is purely magic. Clocks/Clocktower - Throughout RuneScape there are clocks.. What do clocks run on, you ask? Do they have gears? No. It's all magic!!! The gears we collect in the clocktower south of Ardougne was simply to cast a magical spell to make the clocktower which runs on magic to work again, of course. Since as we all know, gears didn't exist in the medieval times, but magic and fire breathing dragons did.(sarcasm) Do I really need to go on? Or should I repeat over and over: RUNESCAPE IS A FANTASY GAME IT IS NOT REALITY! RUNESCAPE IS A FANTASY GAME IT IS NOT REALITY! RUNESCAPE IS A FANTASY GAME IT IS NOT REALITY! RUNESCAPE IS A FANTASY GAME IT IS NOT REALITY! RUNESCAPE IS A FANTASY GAME IT IS NOT REALITY! RUNESCAPE IS A FANTASY GAME IT IS NOT REALITY! RUNESCAPE IS A FANTASY GAME IT IS NOT REALITY!
  23. Same! i'll be hoping for a sandwedge ogre golf style =P~
  24. A new minigame...... Ogre Golf! What better way to encourage more people to go to the Ogre area than with a large open field, and a set of bone clubs! The games necklace would teleport you to the golf course. Or you could walk South from Castle Wars for a long time(Past Rantz).. You can either play single player or with up to 3 other friends! The ogre named "Golph" will introduce you with how to play.. You can purchase a golf bag that can go on your back, and be equipped in the cape slot. You can't manually take clubs out of your golf bag, however the clubs you own will be displayed sticking out of the back of it. You start off with a wooden club. You earn points by playing the ogre golf, and you can cash in your points for other things such as "Golf hat" "Stone club" "Bone club" "Golf gloves", "Experience in certain skills", etc.. All the clubs will be in your golf bag like I explained earlier. It would be draped over your back and display your clubs sticking out.. When you click on the ball you can choose which golf club you want to use. Then it will show a small emote with you holding your club, and lining up the shot. For each shot you take you will get a small ammount of strength experience. There would be indicators on the screen showing how much power you are going to give it, the wind speed, and the direction the wind is blowing.. As you are trying to get your ball in the hole, there are several key aspects you need to be careful of! Sandtraps, lava pits, swamps, Ogres, other monsters?, etc..
