  1. I think it might have to do with the fact that the website is dead and no one is managing it anymore.
  2. The reason I found it challenging is because back when I did the quest I was not used to fighting monsters bare-handed, most of the monsters I fought were monsters I fought with armor and weapons. Sure today I can do it with ease, but I couldn't do that so easily back then, as I was at a pretty low combat level. The reason I fought greater demons instead is because they have better drops than zombies do. And from what you've told me, the quest was made easier. Alright, that's what I thought, hate that I was right.
  3. I have been doing treasure trails for years, since 2007 at least. And I have killed greater demons, steel dragons, red dragons and a lot more monsters that drop third age armor. Oh and what the game says is a lie, it claims I have done something like 100 something treasure trails, I have done at least 1,000. The reason I want to get third age armour is so I can get mad rich quick. Is it worth it, or should I give up on trying to get a third age armor?
  4. I remember doing that quest back before toolbelt existed. I had to kill a greater demon to get a steel hatchet. Obviously that wouldn't work anymore since they don't drop hatchets at all now. But the thing is my dragon hatchet is on my toolbelt, so I don't need to have it in my inventory. But my question is is the quest still challenging? Having to kill a greater demon to get a steel hatchet barehanded was the most challenging thing about the quest. And I have a feeling that has changed. I would love to test it for myself, but unfortunately quests can only be done once. And I'm not willing to pay 9 extra dollars for a new account to find that out.
  5. Good news, it's gone. And I did nothing, it just disappeared.
  6. I recently went to the old school runescape wiki and discovered there was a quest called Monkey Madness II. I checked the wiki for the modern RuneScape and discovered it's not in that version. Ok, I have a couple of questions. First off, Old School RuneScape is supposed to be like RuneScape from the past, right? Because I was a member of RuneScape back in 2007 and earlier and I can tell you for a fact that Monkey Madness II did NOT exist back then. So how can it be considered RuneScape from the past if it has something that didn't exist in RuneScape back then? Secondly, what other things are exclusive to Old School RuneScape? I really wanna know.
  7. Does the fact that I kill a higher level monster affect the possibilities of rewards? For example if I got a hard clue scrolls from steel dragons, would I have a better chance of getting valuable rewards than if I killed greater demons? To be honest with you I doubt it, because the rewards don't seem so different from when I get clue scrolls from steel dragons and greater demons. But I'm just making sure.
  8. How does the limit work exactly? Does it apply to just the type of an item, or does it apply to all items of the same category? Let's say I want to buy 45K blood runes and 15K naure runes. Can I buy both types at the same time, or do I have to wait until the 4 hours are up before I can buy the other type or a rune?
  9. I'm glad at least Tip.It forums is still active, not very but still a little bit. I'm never giving up on this message board. Discussions might be hard to find now, but I'm not giving up on it. It's a great place.
  10. With most runes, the spells associated with it make sense. You can change items into gold with nature runes since it's supernatural. If you attack something, it dies, so that's why death runes are used for combat. And things also bleed when you fight them, thus blood fits. And weakening an opponent affects their souls, so that's why soul runes makes sense. But how are law runes connected to teleportation? I don't get it. Law means you have to follow certain rules to not be arrested for it. I don't see the connection.
  11. I remember in the past steel dragons used to drop 20 blood runes now they don't drop any at all. And fire giants used to drop 150 fire runes, now they only drop 20 and it's rare. Now I'm sure there was a legitimate reason for this change, but I'm not sure what it was, so I wanna know. Now don't get me wrong I'm not complaining that it's not like it used to be, in fact I'm totally ok with this since I don't use most of these runes anyway. Especially now since blood runes are no longer required to use high level combat spells.
  12. Is anything I can buy from there I can use in-game? Because I'm not interested in the slightest in buying overrides. But I would be interested in trading for in-game money if I could.
  13. I'm convinced that the site is completely dead now. I can't even go to Help and Advice anymore to get great answers to my questions. Where else am I gonna get help with research and stuff like that?
  14. Ok, the fact nobody replied proves to me that NO ONE feels like doing them, so the best I can do is assume, and I really think it's reasonable to assume the average price of the rewards is around 200K coins. I mean elite scroll rewards aren't worth much more than hard ones.
  15. What's the average amount of money you'd get from them when selling the rewards to the grand exchange? I have a feeling it's about the same as with hard and elite scrolls. I have a hard time believe it's over million on average. If it's about the same price, that further proves my point that they aren't worth it.
  16. I hate to bump this thread, but I want answer to those questions. I don't have the quest required to access the rune dragons anyway, so it's not like I can test to see the answer to the second question myself. As for my first question, I mean yeah I could do research myself, but just reading an article about the quests required isn't the same as hearing from some people who have experienced those quests, that's why I want answer to that question.
  17. Hello, I came back to this thread to thank you. I used deathtouched dart on the kalphite king and it was worth it, I got something worth over million coins and I couldn't be happier.
  18. The quests required to access, are they hard without walkthroughs? I only use walkthroughs as a last resort now. Can I kill at least 5 rune dragons in one trip if I bring an inventory full of sharks? Or is it more complicated than that?
  19. So I got 4 deathtouched darts, and I'm not sure what to use them on. Last time I used one I used one on red dragons, which are easy to kill so I regret it, I'm not about to do the same mistake again. But the thing is I don't know what the best monster to use it on is. Any help would be appreciated. Here is a full list of all the quests I have completed so you know what monsters I can access.
  20. So I did research on rune dragons, at first I thought I could just bring a bunch of sharks and kill these dragons easily, and kill at least 10 in the same trip. But then I realized something, I can't even hit them with melee. Now I haven't finished the quest required to kill them, so I know I have a long way to go before I can even access them. But my question is are rune dragons like boss monsters?
  21. So in a nutshell, it works like the ring of life.
  22. Does it heal more than rocktails? Or does it work like the ring of life? I'm not sure how it works, that's why I'm asking.
  23. You know what? Hell with it, I spent over 4 hours killing cyclops and still only have an iron defender at highest. It really isn't worth it since I'll most likely get rewards worth less than 500K which is the price I have to pay to get a dragon mask. So I'm not doing it, since it'd be a waste of time. Thanks for the help.
  24. So I got a master clue scroll for the first time, and here is what it says. "Blow a Raspberry at the celesital dragons on Dragontooth Isle. Beware of double agents! Equip a dragon mask, a dragon rider amulet and a dragon defender." One of these is very expensive, and two of them require me to do a lot of stuff. Is it worth it? If the rewards are worth less than what I have to pay to get these, I won't do it as it's not worth it.
