Hmm, Godlsayer,I've decided to withdraw my sig request, as you never really like the idea of, sooo, if you do my mascot, I'll give you 1000 Coal Ore :D Ok, this first bit may help you a bit, I made the name Altkill up for a Discworld MUD, as I was going to join the Assassins Guild, as they have alternate ways to kill someone. If you don't know what Discworld MUD is, nevermind. I want a guy who is like an assassin, elegant, dark robes and clothes, with throwing knives and any other assassin tools (potion vials, thowing [bleep]es, etc) and weapons you can thinks off on a utility/knife belt and a band around the torso, a wide brimmd cap hiding the eyes (you'll like that :lol: ), i think you'd get a better picture if you read Discwold books, but if you have any questions just ask, if you don't want to do it just say, looking back it seems like a big description.

I don't reconise the majority of name, but then again I haven't ben playing that long (a few other posts I say a year, but that's exagerated a little :lol: ) I got a question, what do people on here think he next generation of famous people will be, the answers will pobably be people on this board becauseit woul be easier to see, gathering from the replies Runesmithie, and I'd like to bet on some of the good pixllers like TJ, Godslayer and Quer_Skull.

Yeah right, if you did the moon, why is th colour near the moon different to the colour on the sky, and why is there black lines, becaue that's what happens when you copy and paste. Why put sample on if your just wanted CC? That's like saying whats th point in pixeling, when you coul just sceen shot Runescape to make a sig in 5 seconds and sell it for 1mil+

OK, irst the obvious, the skull above the mans head, you went into th wild and took screen shot, apart from bing identical you didn't even bother to colour in the black around it, same with the moon, that looks like a classic, cut-paste-make-a-few-coloured-squares-that-look-like-the-sky job. Now, because these are present, I began to wonder if you put the sample there, or someone else put it they're to stop rippers.

It's pretty good apart from the fact you ripped some of it :o

The lineart thing is direct to anyone, but Alexraider in paticular, I'm trying to shade a circle using a diferent method atm, I'll try and finish soon. EDIT: Here is my second circle, I tried pixeling the darkest areas first, and working from there, this is what I got, I think if I put that and th circle I made earlier together then it will be better.

OK, so it's your first pixel, but you've used auto shapes a lot, the tube is made from an oval and a straight line, the sun and speech/thought bubble are made from ovals, I think the box that the guy is sitting on is the rectangle tool, as is the box of 'kebab meat'. The cliff thing is two straight lines and a curve, the ivey or stuff is the paintbrush tool thats been squiggled about a bit, the text has all been typed in without any attempt to make it fit in, and I'm pretty sure the guys head is an oval. Any more I missed?

Ignore the circle in the previous post, I think I'm on to something, taking a break but I may be online later and finish it. BTW, Godslayer, I agree, the Runescape armour is terrible. :x

After taking Quer Skull's abic about shading a circle, after many atempts at drawing a circle, I cant even shade it, am I having a mental block? This reinforces it, I need a tutor, someone to slap me and show me several ways to pixel, starting off simple, getting more complex.

Ok, first thing's first. I really lik graphics, I studied it in GCSE, through unfortunate events I'm unable to do this subject in Sixth Form, damn timetable structure. That is a pixel I attempted, as you can see, it's pretty basic, but I'd like to think I have a bit of talent. I have looked at tutorials but they don't really help me. I would like to ask a good pixel artist to 'take me under their wing', teach me th tricks of the trade. In return you will have the satifaction of being a good tutor. I won't open a shop or anything like that, I don't want to make moeny from it, granted, if someone asked me to make a sig, I would, and I may enter competitions to work on my art. I've got a couple of months before I start Sixth Form, so I would like to get a bit of pixelling into me bfore I start, so I can spend rainy days in an I.T room making a masterpiece. I'm sorry I cannot pay, if people do ask me for a sig and you help out I'll hand over most of the cash, like I said, I ant to develop a skill, not make money, so, any offers.

You may be able to download it from the windows update website, if not, try downloading graphics gale, make sure you pick the free one an not shareware though, I got a little bit confued about that when I try to download it myself.
