  1. You may be right. I rarely train in that area anymore but when killing a level 25 or a level 45, you would probably get the better drops more often fighting a level 45. And I am not going to call you a noob for training at level 25 skeletons lol, I just don't think it is that good of a place to train at. If your low level I recommend you try the level 35 flesh crawlers at the stronghold second floor. They max one damage and have about 25 hitpoints.
  2. SIR VINVYIN'S FAVORITE PLACES TO TRAIN By: Sir Vinvyin Introduction This guide includes training places in Free to Play and Pay to Play. Free to Play training places are limited to npc's in Karajama Dungeon. Pay to Play training places include experiments, bandits, the axe hut, and green dragons. ANYTHING WITH THE COLOR OF THIS TEXT CAN BE CLICKED TO BE LINKED TO A RELATED PICTURE Free To Play (Karajama Dungeon) [*:1qrkymbx]1.0 [ Skeletons ] [*:1qrkymbx]2.0 [ Red Spiders ] [*:1qrkymbx]3.0 [ Moss Giants ] [*:1qrkymbx]4.0 [ Lesser Demons ] [*:1qrkymbx]5.0 [Drops] [*:1qrkymbx]6.0 [ Pros and Cons ] [*:1qrkymbx]7.0 [ Tips ] Pay to Play [*:1qrkymbx]1.0 [ Experiments] [*:1qrkymbx]2.0 [ Bandits ] [*:1qrkymbx]3.0 [ Axe Hut ] [*:1qrkymbx]4.0 [ Green Dragons ] [*:1qrkymbx]5.0 [ Warriors Guild] [*:1qrkymbx]6.0 [ Gorilla Guards] [*:1qrkymbx]7.0 [ Credits ] FREE TO PLAY 1.0 [ Skeletons ] Level 25 TERRIBLE PLACE TO TRAIN, UNLESS YOUR A NOOB, theres just no point. Their HP is way too low, not many of them and they give terrible drops. Another location of these skeletons are at the rope that goes to Candor. EXP:* DROPS:* HP:17 Level 45 I find that the level 45 skeletons were actually pretty good experience. They are not that hard to hit, and give ok drops. These drops may not be enough to afford buying your food. (Explained more in detail in 7.0) EXP:*** DROPS:** HP:59 2.0 [[Red Spiders] There are not that many red spiders here, but very little people go here. Red Spiders in Varrock Dungeon is a better place though. EXP:** DROPS:(NONE) HP:35 3.0 [ Moss Giants] I do not recommend this place, unless you really want your prayer level to go up or you can find worlds with little people training here. Moss Giants give quite nice drops and big bones. The problem about it is that usually they are very crowded. EXP:** DROPS:*** HP:60 4.0 [ Lesser Demons ] These are my favorite to train on in f2p, they give nice loot and great exprience. They also have a high amount of hit points. There are three places where you can fight lessers in Karajama: Spot 1: Don't have to clear the dragon slayer quest to train here. There is a nice maging and ranging place too. Usually the most crowded area, because of the pure magers and rangers. Spot 2: You have to clear or start the dragon slayer quest to train here. This place is usually less crowded than spot 1 but there are still many who train here. Spot 3: This was my favorite spot out of the three. You also have to start or clear the dragon slayer quest to get here. The reason I liked this place the most is there rarely anyone here. There is also a ranging and maging spot, actually two. Two lessers is enough, you don't need anymore <_< . EXP:**** DROPS:**** HP:79 5.0 [ Drops ] Level 25 Skeletons: Nothing Special. Drops include: Iron weapons, runes, iron arrows (1-12), up to 65gp. Level 45 Skeletons: Nothing Special. Drops include:up to 45 gp, iron arrows (12), air runes (15). I found this place to give a nice amount of runes. Red Spiders: None Moss Giants: Big bones, mith sword, iron arrows (15), black square shield, up to 700gp, lots of runes, spinach roll. This place gave lots of runes, coins, and big bones. Lessers: Up to 500 gold (Maybe even up to 1k+), mith chain, fire runes (30-60), rune med, gold ore. This place gave rune med, plenty of coins, and lots of fire runes. 6.0 [ Pros and Cons ] Pros Level 25 Skeletons: NONE Level 45 Skeletons: Not many people, nice experience, OK drops Red Spiders: Easy to hit Moss Giants: Nice drops, Nice experience Lessers: Great experience, great drops Lessers1: Lots of them, maging and ranging spot Lessers2: Not as crowded as spot 1, and more lessers then spot 3 Lessers3: Not crowded at all Cons Level 25 Skeletons: Too little HP Level 45 Skeletons: Drops may not be enough, not lessers Red Spiders: Not as good as Varrock Dungeon Moss Giants: Crowded Lessers: Not much, unless your low level, crowded Lessers1: Crowded Lessers2: Semi Crowded Lessers3: Only two of them 7.0 [ Tips ] This is probably the main point of this guide. These are the reasons why I like training at Karajama Dungeon so much. Inventory and Worn Inventory Whenever you go to Karajama Dungeon, always use full rune, no matter what you fight, if you are a warrior. Use a rune scimitar and a strength or power ammy. In your inventory you should bring at least 2k-20k gp. Also bring food if you want as a starter, not required. Others that you could bring are: Axe and a tinderbox for a fire, lobster pot to catch lobsters. Food, the shop This is the reason training at karajama dungeon is so nice, food is easy to get. After getting off the boat, check the shop. Picture of Shop Make sure there are lots of raw or cooked tuna or lobsters in there, then you are set with the world! You can always change back to this world for the food if you changed worlds while fighting. And guess what! You don't waste money! When fighting against lessers, you get plenty of money that even after buying food, you have extras. There may be a small loss to your money if you go to the level 45 spiders. Other choices are to fish the food yourself and pick them up for free at the docks: At the Docks That concludes my F2P Training Guide. PAY TO PLAY 1.0 [ Experiments ] You have to love these things! Level 25s with 100 HP! Thats great experience! Requirements are to clear priest in peril and to start the creature of frankeinstein quest. There are many spots to train, but I recommend only one, the place with four/five of them all the way southwest of the dungeon. *Tips 1. Bring light armour, I don't even bring armour, I just use prince custume and a mudskipper hat. I am 40 defence and I barely get hurt, lowest I've been was probably off by 5 HP. I bring about 10 cakes just in case of emergencies, also teleporation runes. With 40 Agility I could run from each experiment without running out of energy. 2. A shortcut to here is to teleport by emptying an ectophial. This requires clearing the Ghost of Ahoy quest. 3. This place is usually crowded so bring air strike, I usually find a world with no one there, but if someone comes, you can annoy them by getting all of "their" experiments using air strike. They usually get mad and change worlds. 4. Bring a dragon dagger. This is not too important but can kill experiments quicker if you use the spec. If you use the spec every time, you most likely would get lots of extra experience. 2.0 [ Bandits ] A nice place to train, requires 60 magic and no to clear the Mage Arena minigame, you could get a god cape then. There are many places for these but I recommend you to use the three that are south east of the camp, consisting 2 or 3 bandits. Bring full lobsters, a shantay pass, and about 10k gold. Also have a worn ring of dueling. They have 50 HP and keep attacking you if you have a god cape on! Teleport to the duel arena and run to the bank and repeat once you lost your food. Some more information by MeTal RoCK 3.0 [ Axe Hut ] This is my favorite place to train, lots of them just keep coming one by one, great experience. The problems are that they hurt you and that it is in level 57 wilderness. What to bring: Rune plate, Rune legs, Dragon Weapon, lobsters, lockpick Optional: Prayer pot and Rune kite, ammulet (not glory), flower Other worn inventories: With Shield Whip A different view by ShadHoe, he goes for more of a respectable way when training, I still stick to my way, I don't think theres any point in having honor when training, especially when there are PKers wandering around: *Tips 1. After a while (Approx. 10 Minutes) the axes stop attacking you, all you do is run to the hellhounds you can whack one of them once or just run to them and go back. The axes should continue to attack you. 2. If your planning to bring a rune kite, watch out. You should bring a prayer pot and wannabe PKers would often bait on you. If you do not bring a rune kite, the wanabe PKers may not attack you but they still do so, they need a PK... 3. Stand a little to the east or west, not in the middle. I found that standing a little bit to one side gets you more axes. 4. If a wannabe PK group comes, don't panic, it is actually easy to get away, and even if they do kill you, nothing lost! IF a wannabe pk group comes.. 1. Hang around inside the place, they might not have picklocks (they usually do). 1.5. Make sure your auto retaliate is off. 1.7. If you have a flower just keep attacking one axe with the flower, I do not know if you should x-log or not, I do not advice you to. (From what I'm hearing it's against the rules to do so, so don't) Just stay there attacking that axe with your flower, if the PKers are waiting for you then just don't click anything for a while. I think you would log out. Otherwise go check out the forums while attacking the axe with your flower. I like to laugh at the wannabe PKers while using the flower. I always read a comic book while training so I could stay as looooooooong as I like :-D. 2. Even if they do have picklocks, the axes still attack you and them, just keep letting the axes attack you and see if you have a chance to log out while inside. 3. Run inside and outside faking around. 4. Look around, see where the magers are and see where the only meleer are. 5. Are you teleblocked? 6. If you stay inside long, they usually put most of their men inside the hut, heres your chance. 7. Just dash out of the place at a random time. 8. If a mager is around, have protect from magic on, they may fail their tangle or icing. 9. If 5 is no, then run straight to the magebank, that probably the easiest getaway if a meleer is at your back. 10. If 5 is yes, then either go south of stay go to the magebank too, and maybe go to the pirates. I've got away from about 4/6 of PKers when training here. 4.0 [ Green Dragons ] This place ranges from bad to terrible in training experience, but goes from great to terrific in the money you get. This guide is about the dragons north of varrock only, north of the giants AND Greendragons near castle. What to bring: Rune plate, rune legs, rune large, DRAGONFIRE SHIELD, Dragon Weapon, Lobsters, Varrock Teleports/Paddewwa Teleport, God cape (It helps plus 10 mage defence). Optional: Prayer Pot, Dragonhide Amount of lobsters: Really depends on your character, I find that 10 is a good amount for me. What to take: Green D hide(1.5-1.8k worth), D bones (2.2-2.5k worth), plus other goodies such as a clue scroll or a rune dagger. Do Not bring a ring of wealth, it is just a waste! Your main goal are the bones and hides. Paddewwa Versus Varrock 1. One is for ancients and one is for normal magic. 2. Varrock dragons cannot be crowded, there are too many dragons. Paddewwa could be crowded depending on world. 3. If you go to Paddewwa in a minor PKing world, you may be intercepted by PKers, same with Varrock at giants but less often. 4. Distancewise, Paddewwa is pretty much closer. 5. You cannot use prayer to help you when training at Paddewwa, you can use protect from melee when fighting dragons at Varrock. You have to choose which you like better Tips* 1. After your inventory is full, just teleport to varrock or Paddewwa 2. If you take the Varrock route, then while your on the way, get your prayer up. 3. You your running wisely, how much energy you use really depends on your agility level. 4. If your killing with prayer, then for the first few dragons, put protect melee on until you have your HP divided by 4 plus 8 prayer left. It is your choice then when you are at your final dragons to finish up your prayer. If your going to finish it up, then make sure your fighting a dragon always and that your in level 20 wilderness. If you any sign of a PKer just teleport, it is only 5k that your going to lose, if you teleport from your dragon. If a wannabe PKer comes... 1. Just teleport if you can. 2. If he already got you. 3. Let yourself die. 4. Check if hes using a dragonfire shield/ check if he is using smite. 5. If he is using smite, I advise you just to die if you left your HP but 4 plus 8 prayer left, if you leave protect item on and don't eat, you would just lose minor stuff. 6. If he does not have smite, you can try to escape. 7. If he does not have a dragonfire shield or even if he does just run Northeast of the dragons. He would have to follow you, if entangle is not working on you. He would have to retreat if he does not have a dragonfire. If he does, the dragons would still get him. Start running around making him follow you. 8. When he is entangling his dragon, then dash out. You should have been attacked by a dragon yourself so if he tries to get you, he won't be able to get you. Put on protect from magic and run off. 9. At Paddewwa dragons, the best you can do is try to get out of the person's range. Your not that deep in the wilderness so... So far I've been killed by 2 PKers, lost nothing but hides, bones, and strength ammulet. And I've escaped from 4 PKers even after they TBed me. And I've killed one Pker because he iced me, I teled to varrock, went to bank, added him, got PKing gear followed him to his next world, and KOed him badly. I do not advice you to try to get revenge on one who attacks you because they probably would have been gone, and they would probably just teleport, and even if you bring TB or something they could just run off. I get mad easy and got bored of training at the dragons so I usually come back for those who attack me. 5.0 [ Warriors Guild ] New great place to train and get the ownage defenders! Food is provided, there's a nearby bank, and the loot and experience is super, what more can you ask for? Defenders *I'm only including a few areas of the Warriors Guild in this section, I don't know much about the others.* Monsters: Rune Armour, Adamant Armour, Mith Armour, Black Armour, Cyclops level 56, Cyclopes level 76 Requirements: Combined total of 130 from Strength and Attack level. Item Recommendations: (Remember there is a bank) Either full helmet, platebody, and platelegs of Rune, Adamant, Mith, or Black (Depends on your status). Best armour and weapon for your own usage, at least 10k. Worn Inventory: Best armour possible (Barrows work perfectly here) Examples: Example 1 Example 2 REMEMBERIF YOU DIE HERE YOU WOULD NOT GET YOUR STUFF BACK, SO BRING ONLY WHAT YOU WOULD RISK It is actually probably impossible to die here, but if your worried then test it out with things you don't mind losing. Your main goal is to get great experience and defenders. Basically you get warrior tokens from the bottom floor and use them on the top floor to get defenders. How to Get There Quickest way to get there is by going from Games Room Necklace teleport. Next is from your house, if it is in taverly. Lastly it is from falador teleport. If you can't teleport to falador or your on ancients, then your going to have to walk. You can also get killed, so you end up in falador or use gnome air thing to get to white wolf mountain. Bottom Floor Potion Shop Food Shop Animation Room Inventory 1 Inventory 2 Mith Armour Rune Armour This is where you get the tokens! For those of you who are confident about your status, fight rune armour. Otherwise, fight Adamant, Mith, or Black (I find Mith the best out of them all). You can always just try and see which is bset for you, but remember there is a possibility that a piece of your armour could break, but it is very rare. When fighting against rune, it is probably best to be in barrows, otherwise having high combat status. Top Floor Inventory 1 Inventory 2 Level 56 Cyclops Level 76 Cyclops Now it is time to get the defenders! These cyclops have great HP and are extremely easy to hit! Both level 56 and 76 cyclops drop defenders. I really don't think there is that much effect if you walk in and out while fighting the cyclops. I've banked and refilled once and got a rune defender after like 4 kills. Also the drops are random so don't get frustrated. It took me like 700 tokens to get to mith, but once i got another rune defender in 10 tokens after getting one. Other drops include: Adamant 2h, Black 2h, Steel 2h, Iron 2h, Black knives, Steel longsword, and more. Also the defenders are very small, so always right click loot after you kill because you may miss it. Tips 1. You should always have at least 10k-50k in your inventory. Whenever your about to go to the bank to refill food or something, buy potions and food on the way. If you have enough of your own food and potions, then you don't have to do this. I usually buy Stews (Heals 11), Cheese potatoes (Heals 16), Attack potions (15% added to attack), and Strength potions (20% added to strength). All of these are cheap (see approximate price above). 2. I like to use a Dragon Battleaxe special when fighting any of the npcs in the guild. It drains attack and defence, so I drink two attack potions (from Potion Shop) to raise my attack back to normal, and make it go even higher. You can do this for defence potions too. 3. I am not 100% sure on this but I think it is better not to use a ring of wealth when fighting cyclopes. 4. Use the black knives you get from cyclopes to be able to get the cyclopes quicker, the place is usually crowded. 5. Wear armour with the most defence possible and your best weapon (can vary depending on what status you are training). 6. Get at least 2k of Warrior Tokens before going to the cyclopes, the more the better. I was able to get my first rune defender within 2k-3k of tokens and 5 more with 1k of tokens. 7. Don't give up. Even if you don't get a defender for a while, remember that you are getting great experience at the same time. 8. If you die in the wilderness with a defender, you can get it back like God Books. Remember this probably would only work if you die in low edgeville wilderness. For those of you who don't know what I mean by this: once you die, you end up in either lumbridge or falador. For lumbridge, go downstairs to the chest (from recipe of disaster) to bank, for falador, go to the west bank. From the bank, get out a charged glory amulet and teleport to edgeville. Run quickly to the spot you died, and pick up the defender. The defender is quite small so keep searching. Instead of using a glory amulet to teleport, you can use Paddewwa teleport. 9. Remember that if you die, you would only keep three of your best items (four if you have protect item on for some reason), so don't risk anything you don't want to lose. 10. When getting a new defender, walk outside and then back again so the cyclops can be updated to drop the next one. Otherwise you would be getting the same defender over and over again. 11. To get another rune defender, you can use the rune defender when going inside (you don't have to use an adamant). 6.0 [ Gorilla Guards] This place lets you max out on your hitting ability and there's an altar a few steps away all the time! The gorillas also have extremely high HP (120) and heal (40 up) themselves while you fight! Requirements: Cleared Monkey Madness Quest, 43 Prayer, Food(5-10), Anti-poisions (2-10) Recommended Requirements: At least 70 Strength and Attack (Should be higher), Cleared Saving Awogegi Part of Recipe of Disaster (To teleport to gorillas, teleports (to get out and in case), 10-50k and Monkey Speak Amulet (To Buy food), Monkey Gegree (Zombie form can't run), Super Strength and Attack Pots (or normal), Dragon Battleaxe Worn Inventory: High prayer bonus, relatively light (doesn't effect too much), Full Dharoks Example Once you get there, the gorillas and pesky little spiders would be aggressive so watch out. The spiders continuously respawn after you kill them, so just ignore them. They would deal 4 damage poison to you which you can either use food to bring back health of antipoisions. If you are using Dharoks, to get your HP reduced: let the spider's poison do the job (drink anti towards low HP and watch out if the spiders are still aggressive), take off prayer for a while and let the gorillas drop your life (put back prayer and watch out for poison), both get your HP to half by gorillas and let the spiders poison bring lower. When using Dharoks, it is good to have a few sharks for emergency purposes, also watch out for the Evil Chicken random event. Here's a minimap of the area. The red circle indicates the area of the alter. Two gorillas respawn in this area. If you're unable to kill the gorillas because of there healing then your lucky but on the otherhand not getting much experience. If you in this case, just have one of the two gorilla respawning in the alter area fight you and stand right beside the alter. This way you just need to turn around to recharge prayer. The green circle indicates the gorillas that can trap you, while being aggressive. If you stand in the middle and three of them encircle you, the only way to move out is by killing one of them, climbing up the ladder, or teleporting out, so be careful. Fight these gorillas after you kill the gorillas in the red circle. The blue circle has other gorillas like the green in which you can fight after killing the gorillas in the red circle. In the red circle look at the stairs. Those are the stairs you come from after teleporting to Ape Atoll. Also up those stairs is safe and has an alter, so if there is a condition of lag or something, continuously click on those stairs to be safe. Tips 1. Make sure you don't wait until the last second to recharge prayer, there is a possibility of lagging out or getting trapped. 2. If you don't have Ape Atoll teleport, you can get there the same way you did in Monkey Madness Quest. If you don't have a banana, use the Bones to Banana spell to get one. 3. Use Ultimate Strength and Incredible Reflexes to help increase hitting. 4. Use Dragon Battleaxe Special to bring up strength, and use one or two attack potions to bring attack up. *Magic is decreased in this process so be careful if teleportation is your only safe method, I got brought down 26 magic in total once* 5. Bring noted pots or food, sell to shop and buy again. 7.0 [ Credits ] Ben Goten- General Guide Forum Rules Cyrax- For telling me about Ben Goten's Guide Jorgen- How to make the guide better (drops) MeTal RoCK- Improvement on Bandits To be continued... 3. aahahahaha I agree... Punk4ever is too stuck up. That's what separates the respect people from the random wannabe-cool-poster. Punk4ever has a point of view, and can defend that, in a mature way. I suggest you learn to do the same, it'll be much better. Anyways, there are some things indeed that bother me: 2 or more spaces It's so darn annoying trying to guess if the guy you want to report has 6 or 7 spaces in his name... copycats Just making a slight change to an existing username.. Most likely to scam. We've had our share of the fake zezima's, bluerose13x's, etc.. Flaming names By this I mean dissing another character in your username. Ive gotten pm's in-game from 'vmser pha q'. That's just not right. The X name X, I name I, etc.. stuff Allright, Im getting quite bored with these, since often this isn't even the same person. How many chars have names like 'name2', 'name jr','namepk', 'x name x', 'I name I', 'name pure', ...? Wanna-be tough names Allright, what's with all the 'silly person', 'thug', 'coke', 'weed', etc.. related stuff? It's lame IMO. Endless variations on the same theme How many characters would have a name based on: The Lord of the Rings, DragonBall Z, Pokemon, Yugi-Oh, or whatever? If none of the suitable names are available, at least have the decency to be original, instead of making a lame attempt at making another horribly confusing variation. That's all I can think of now... You know.... punk4ever is also kinda a wanna-be-tough name, so if I hate that kind of names should I make a post complaining about them and that they should get banned too? Punk4ever, I really think that you are over reacting too much. People could say oh I hate punks people with that name insult me. Really it's only a game, and if you don't like a person's name why can't you just ignore it. I'm japanese, if I saw someone with the name crazykamikazepilot or something I won't be insulted at all. Why? Does it really matter what people who you don't know say about you? O, wait sorry they aren't even saying it to you... People in real life have obsene names too. A racist can name his/her child a racist name and are you going to be insulted too? How about on T-shirts, you've had to see inapproriate stuff on those stuff, racist too. Are you going to start punching someone whos wearing a T-shirt that you don't like? And I'm not even talking about real life, all this is is a game. If you can't handle someone with a bad name, then maybe playing the game is a little too much for you to handle. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe people with those kind of names is like someone punches you right in the face and starts laughing. If it is really like that to you, then ya change their names, but do you have to bann them? It's like your PKing and someone starts putting protect prayer against you one on one and you call him a noob. He gets mad and wants you to be banned.
  4. Great idea. I especially liked the idea of locking and linking items. I really hate how when you like take out all your money, or armour and lose the position where you want it. The linking part is especially great for PKing, get your gear right away or have a link of pots you want to use. Even though come to think of it, if the banks are improved that much, you really don't need that because they would be easy to access. Still, great idea. On the other hand, I think it's better to have the right clicking way (the way used now) for withdrawing stuff from the bank, I think it makes it easier then clicking once on the item then moving the mouse to the side to select the amount. Also with the right clicking way, you can always just left click once and get one item easily and quickly. Otherwise great idea, and if this is actually updated it would be extremely great. I've wasted so much time and got so much frustration looking for items when I need them. Yes I can organize my bank but there's still a long list to go through. Also I have many items that I only have one of and items constantly overflow my bank causing my bank to mess up even if I do organize it. Once again, great idea.
  5. i had two saras and one zammy and i got zammy platebody, rune gold platebody, and rune platebody :)
