i meant that people think about what they are gonna do 5 waves ahead, like "in 5 waves theres 2 90's im gonna die" basically.

died to the dumbest/weirdest thing ever- it looked like i had 2 prayers on at once, got hit afew 0s, then it went to just range, got hit 49, then, was running behind italy rock to heal and jad followed me then i got hit a 48 for the kill just as iheard the magic sound? a combo of confusion/lag i think, and i think the big red number appearing on me didnt help, i have to remember its just numbers :S only used 7 restores through the whole thing lol, and half a crystal bow. gonna go do something else for abit then go again later :oops: i might use guthan and bring d hally next time for 180s and only range the 702, 360s and sometimes 90s... but i do the waves just as fast with range as id probably do like that so no point really. no loss though except pots, half a bow and that im now angry :x shouldve waited more than 1 minute to come out of the corner, now im in a pkin mood lol so ill go do that. btw ive found the trick to not get bored on the waves is take it 1 at a time.. dont be like 20 waves from jad, 19, 18, 17, 16 or itll seem to take forever... i was at jad before i knew it when i just took each wave as it came, when monsters left/came i thought about "90s come back next" etc but thats about it.

Although you should have gone with a prayer helm I myself will be using an X-Bow and will have in my invent: 4 Range pots 16 Supers Restores 8 Sarabrews Can replace 3 range pots for a Sarabrew and another 2 Supers I think the extra sara will be helpfull so I think I will be doing that now :P just use 3 range, 8 sara, 17 restore if using the proselyte stuff i think, and if you switch to cbows , 16 restores? i dont know though, always used verac. i might do my killing jad again-now , but i dont feel up to it atm so might wait tommorow or even put it off till next week incase its still dodgy and something gets fixed

im pretty sure healers only hit 11, gl though :P

sorry if this is advertising heres a vid i found on youtube of a guy trying for cape after the update, first one i found. neither are me btw lol just typed jad into search, then clicked sort by date added: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Hl7O99v8_E the bit where they switched prays then switched back immediatley im sure they wouldnt have got hit pre-update, the bits where they seemed to just switch slow from range to mage, same maybe? other than that they seemed to do just fine, if they wouldnt have been slow on the switch near the end they probably wouldve won, although the healers wouldve probably killed them because they where lowish hp :\ edit: found another one where the guy gets the cape: theres even 2+ times where they have the wrong pray on first then get it on at the last moment and hit 0s. im thinking maybe the people its impossible for still is just server lag or something :\

just stick with veracs helm. plenty of pray bonus and the def bonus helps with the 108s and 90s.

i just saw a vid on youtube, seems its possible again but if you change by accident theres no chance to change back (the guy changed then quickly changed back a couple times and got hit, and eventually died because they didnt switch prays just after the healers came out), which will be bad for me when this weekend i do it again for fun (i switched then switched back ALOT when i first killed jad), ill just watch more vids than i was planning to. although i should be fine because ill have nothing to lose, except my confidence to take fire cape anywhere i can possibly lose it, and if i win, i get the confidence that i can get it back if i cant retrieve it when pking or if i take it to dk's/kq and die there... and the only reason i ever got killed by jad was because of being scared of dying.

Exactly. I also find it quite stupid. I mean most of the times, all you have to do is attack back, and they run away scared. I mean, they are little noobs. I'm gonna wait til level 126 to go back to RC to see if anything changes. :twisted: im 125 and have had 3 rc pk attempts vs me in 2 days... altho 2 of them where barragers, 1 of them was a ONE ITEMER, 2 of them ran on sight and one of the 2 barragers who fought ended up losing their fire cape XD . koed them, looted mystic and barraged them when they came back, its lame but they deserve to lose their cape for rc pking. (i only be lame to people when pking if they be lame first, and rc pking is 1 of the lame things.)

why do you feel the need to flamebait on every topic? jagex made a good update which does nothing but benefit players and you try and start an argument, GJ. good update jagex assuming the prayer thing is fixed, the world thing is very good for pking and checking multiple worlds... well for switching worlds at all, could also be good for rune miners, SS is now pointless from what i see, hopefully if its banned again theres less complainers.

it was bugged and fixed in a day, everyone overreacted thinking it will never be fixed, everyone complained on the main forums... heck.. if complainers can make an illegal program legal again then complaining will do anything how is the thing about ss relavent? way to go offtopic, always has to be 1 person who spams and/or flamebaits. ty everyone else, gl to the 2 who are going to do caves later on.

yea fight caves is possible again now im thinking of using melee when i do it for fun next weekend, itll be a challenge but possibly more fun edit: apparently jad is still glitchy? has anyone killed jad after this update?

well im bored so decided im doing what ive being planning to do for awhile, and rekill jad for fun. gonna get thru afew 180s waves then save progress, hopefully the prayer thing is fixed by tommorow when i log back in. my stats have gone up alot since i got my cape around 6 months ago so ill have no probs with pots but itll also be my first time fighting jad in 6 months so wont suprise me if i just get koed because of using the wrong prayer anyway gonna watch afew vids before i logoff. edit: decided to just wait till next weekend when ill have the time :D

just drop pouches to be able to pick them up.

maybe it really is no delay of the actual prayer, just of the icon lighting up because it checks w/the server before lighting it up.

grats, maybe its just psychological (sp?) and people who dont even know the glitch dont even notice it.
