Different arrows types shouldn't affect your accuracy since you don't get more ranged bonus by wielding a better type of arrow. Say you are using yew bows. Your accuracy will be the same if you wield bronze or if you wield addy arrows. You still have the same bonuses you get from wielding the yew bow. Although addy arrows hit more than bronze, they merely have a better strength and damage. You will deal less damage with bronze, but it doesn't mean that you have lower accuracy since you will still hit your opponent with the same accuracy as if you are using addy arrows, but you do more 0's damage-wise.

Thnx for all your advices, people =D Now... if I ask for which area above contains the best drops in the shortest amount of time in comparison to the other areas, which one would you choose?? *raises eyebrow* o.O

I want to get advices from as many helpers as possible to determine: for a warrior with 70 combat and 55-60 melee skills, which one of the following is the most rewarding, least damaging, and easiest fighting area to train melee (exp always comes first =D) ---- 1) Edgeville Dungeon on Hill giants 2) Blurite Dungeon on Ice giants and Ice warriors 3) Varrock Sewer on Moss giants 4) Varrock Sewer on Zombies 5) Hobgoblin Peninsula on Hobgoblins 6) Black knight Fortress on Black Knights or 7) Karamja Dungeon on Lesser Demons Please select your choice and advice on the details. If your favorite is not on this list (f2p), feel free to share it with us. All replies and aids are GREATLY appreciated =D p.s. I will be p2p soon, so if you have your favorite spot in p2p, go ahead and post it here also =D

guide to going f2p with a full bank (AOW discussion)
TheAlakazam replied to shade_bandyt's topic in General Guides
I love this guide. Great job, shade_bandyt! =D =D> =D> =D> =D> -
Oh wow, you guys are awesome =D Thnx a bunch for your help!

Oh T.T Thnx for the help though =D That is sad... then according to you, the "locked" member's items will be only movable, but they will be "locked" so that they are untradable or unsellable. Just to make sure one last thing, the gold trimmed or gilded wizard robe set from Treasure Trails in pay-to-play IS usable in f2p right? Being a mage dominantly, this is my only hope of getting something that looks better than simply blue robe...

Ooooooooh... so this is how it works... Legend Gaara, you deserve a million thanks for clearing away this cloud in my head. =D And in this case, will I still have control over the member items I withdraw from the bank and I can trade them away if they are tradable? And one more question: If you go over the limit of bank slots in free-to-play and you withdraw a hammer, will you be able to put it back since it is non-member or will you be able to put it back after clearing the bank to below the free-to-play limit? Thnx in advance for any help.

Hi~ I have a question about the reduced bank spaces when you change from a member to a nonmember. How does Jagex lock your member items and leave your nonmember items alone? Since you only get a certain number of bank slots in free-to-play worlds, then will Jagex leave the first * (however many slots a free-to-play person has) of nonmember items open for use and lock the rest? Or... You know what? Any help or information on how Jagex decides which items to lock and which ones not to is appreciated. Many thnx for all your time =D ~TheAlakazam

They drop the left skull with a chance much like lessers dropping a rune med helm. I didn't get one until I was killing them almost 3 hours in two days. After the first drop, I attempted to get a second drop, and I got it after half an hour or so. And I got so lucky on my third drop for it came immediately after the second =D One method I used to keep myself from getting bored is to have faith in that the very next drop will be the left skull half. That kept me "entertained" until the drop came. Hope it helps.

Thnx a bunch =D

Are normal logs the ONLY type of logs that can be cut into shafts for arrows in fletching? I am going to become a member and I need to stack up logs now to prepare for my future adventure. Any help will be appreciated =D

Wow, thnx a lot for all your detailed descriptions. I got VERY bored last time when I was making clay bowls in the Crafting Guild, but since I want to make diamond amulets, I better stick with the best plan until I succeed T.T
-
I thought of that method too, but thnx for bringing it up to me again. However, I have been in the crafting guild recently and crafting clay bowls over and over again. Is my method better than the method you have mentioned? I can tell you one thing - it is REALLY boring... x.x

I want to collect advices from anybody on which crafting method in the free-to-play world is the most effective and least time-consuming. I am currently at crafting lvl 56 and any advice or comment is appreciated :-D

The general stores buy them for no more than 900gp if there is none in stock.

Easter eggs will melt in a matter of only three days so they are useless. But if you complete the rabbit's task and receive a ring, you should keep it in your bank. The ring is untradable and if you lose it, you can get one from Diango in Draynor for free. Thus, feel free to drop it if you are short on bank space since it takes nothing to get it if you want to show it off.

Your ranged level is really low for someone wanting to slay that dragon. The monsters on the path to the dragon lair can be quite dangerous so I suggest you to bring a strong friend along to guard you through or you will have to make a mad dash. There are places in the lair where you can hide behind and be protected from the dragon. However, from my experience, those areas are the spots where you cannot get the dragon directly (and that is why the dragon cannot get you too). There are openings where you can longrange the dragon, but once you appear near those openings, the dragon will be attracted. I suppose you can use longrange to range the dragon from those spots where you can get the dragon and after you range, you should quickly run back before getting shot by it. This can be annoying after a while so I suggest you to bring plenty of lobsters and strength potions. Have your prayer at least high enough to protect against magic and go to melee it. If you are protected from magic, then the dragon has no way to harm you with dragonbreath, thus you don't necessarily need a dragonfire shield. Nevertheless, better defense and stronger power is recommended. The skill you are using to go against the dragon should at least be around 40 before you attempt, so that you won't have to blame on the dragon when you are respawned in Lumbridge.

I have a feeling that there is one or two in that building south-east of Falador where the farming animals are. But I am not sure so I have to go and check.

I suppose people are trying to make the most out of their time trying to type up shortcuts such as "U" or "K". Or maybe some people don't even know how to type correctly. I've seen someone who seriously cannot type and was struggling to type typos on the keyboard. I was sooo amazed and scared at the same time: "What have this generation done to the beautiful language of English!??!?!?!"

*cough* i suppose we are "off" topic here but i agree with pieguin. However, if you have really nice records in your junior high, such as you receive a Noble Prize in your 7th grade, then I suggest you to include that in your resume to get the college's attention =D

Tip.It Times: New beginnings in a new land

I wish everyone's heart is really made of gold. Then RuneScape will be a complete success. =D -
No wonder I always get them when I am smithing loads of ores into bars.

This happened to me when I got my fifth maze. I was walking when I wanted to go through a door. But when I tried to open it, the screen said "I don't think this is the right way." I tried the door near that, and it also said "I don't think this is the right way." I had to walk all the way down to open the door at the end to pass. Those two doors are not the door that I have come from so I think the maze can help you to get to the right door without getting you lost. Anyone who has similar experiences from the maze is welcomed to post your ideas here. Thnx. 8)

Use defensive attacks against chickens for now. When you get to a higher lvl such as 10 or 15, go to the west of Port Sarim and you will find tons of goblins to kill. You have to use the defensive attack type or else you may not raise your defense. Or if you are good with ranging, use long range attack and you will get 2 defense exp for every hit you make.

I was smelting 200 silver ores into silver bars and then crafting them into tiaras in the Al Kharid for nearly one hour. Three mazes came and I got tons of reward, including over 150 coals, plenty iron and steel arrows, and some chaos and death runes. I got my first mime when I was training with the chickens and burying bones. Crumble Undead owns all shades and zombie. =]
