well if they are going to delete them, it doesnt matter if its a year or a month or a week... their prices will drop to like a few k since it pretty pointless having them when YOU KNOW that they are gonna just disappear.... i think jagex should "buy" the phats from players, and pay them each the street price, so it can be fair

i dont see the point of carpentry, so what i have 8 chairs you have 2 cabinets

try doing this (like what i did) do underground pass at 44 agility the quest took me about 6 hrs if not more

can i range/mage him at the safespot?

a friend who told me where to BUY lockpicks (rogue's den) instead of pickpocketing them from the bandits for desert treasure saved me about ... 5 hrs...

hey everyone, i just started desert treasure, i am thankful to hear ANY tips, advices, experiences about the quest in general, and especially the 4 diamond bosses so feel free to post EDIT: I am now done with desert treasure, keep posting for people who haven't done it look for tip! thank you! here's my experience/observations from doing the quest (THE MOST TIME-SAVING TIP INCLUDED) First, do not use safespots, they are either removed or take you 1000 sharks to figure out how it actually works Shadow Guy - do NOT listen to forum quest guide, tip.it quest guide, or any other site's quest guides. to get the guilded cross, do NOT keep pickpocketing bandits/rogues, it will take you literally 3 hours. instead, go to rogue's den (mini game, located south of burthrope games room, north of heroes guild), they sell lockpicks (Default stock is 25) for 20 gp each (maybe 10). I bought 100 of them, and used about 40. First form is pretty easy to kill. Now use your head, think logically. What are shadows casted on? Grounds, floors, or earth! So if there's no earth, there's no shadow. Kill second form with EARTH BLAST or any Earth spell, preferably not earth strike... (thanks Im_Watchen) (i kept hitting 10+'s) and I needed only about 20 doses of prayer pots or so. He drains approximately 8 prayer pots per second. Smoke Guy - Simple, protect melee, 70 water bolts. Smoke, the place is hot, filled with fire, now use your head, think logically, what's used to put out fire, and sometimes people spray these over dusty place? (such as broken building etc) WATER! any water spell does it, preferably not water strikes. Ice Guy - I wore these: mystic hat, black hide body, black hide chaps, black hide vambs, chaos gauntlet, climbing boots (you don't wear it until you beat the boss) anti dragon shield, glory, zammy cape, fire staff, and fire bolted him. When killing the 5 trolls, I took off blackhide because the trolls ONLY melee.. and put them back on again when fighting the boss... The entire trip took me about 10 sharks, 6 doses of prayer pots, 6 doses of super restores, and 150 fire bolts. He is very weak against FIRE spells (use your head, think logically) use any fire spells (preferably not fire strike). I don't know if zammy flame works, it should. Someone confirm please. Blood Guy - I tried to melee and got it down to its last few hp's until it started to act all weird and bend down and stuff, and it killed me. Second time i went with half initiate half mystic, and magic darted him to death (not a good idea) too me many deaths and minds... and sharks... no pots. Now use your head, think logically, shadow is weak against earth, smoke is weak against water, ice is weak against fire, what's blood weak against? NOTHING! hahaha, got you bad didn't I. Someone please confirm if CRUMBLE UNDEAD is strong against him or not. Pyramid - I used 3 doses of anti poisons, 3 doses of prayer, 4 sharks, and only fell twice. (I think i'm lucky) so my desert treasure quest was a pretty good experience except i lost my obsidian shield...

when i was farming this guy was getting killed by swarms and obviously he wasnt paying attention and he died and dropped 40 ranarr seeds

this is my personal experience... do NOT pick on lvl 60 noobs at green dragons! if they go there with a platebody and green chaps, they probably have 85 mage, this happened to me twice but i got away both time :lol:

hey everyone, have you ever encountered something lucky, or just gotten a dragon spear from a druid? post them here! my luck... 1 Dragon platelegs after killing 40(ish) steels 1 Obsidian Shield after killing 23 lvl 149's 1 Emerald ring from lvl 8 crawling hand (not like i'd value an emerald ring that much, but its rare) teled to varrock and see all these blackhide armor lying on the ground friends who gave me like... 8k seeds for free

i believe carpentry will be useless... i mean, what are you gonna make? a chair? if u can make a chair from carpentry, rs ppl have to add new items such as table and chair, and i bet they are too lazy to do that...

yeah i went in a group of three, with me, my friend (lvl 90), and another friend (lvl 75) the lvl 75 died in the first 20 seconds, and my other friend and i duoed the queen plenty of times and using ancient mage is very very helpful and also very expensive
