Im almost positive I already answered that on page 1.. Trout and salmon are a last resort for me. Ill be fishing shark for 99 before them. The experience isnt that much more then monkfish or lobster, and theres little, to no profit (compared to monkfish or lobster). Then theres conversation, which there is none of in Shilo. My goal is 99 fishing, not to end up in an insane asylum.

Reasons your reply was unnecessary: 1. Im not asking for stat ratings, nor did I previously ask. 2. I provided a signature that contains my stats, if you still felt the need to see my stats. 3. I blocked all but fishing and cooking to prevent people from stealing them. I find it much easier, and cleaner then writing "nfs" all over my pictures. This also goes back to reason #1. (IIRC, I think I even mentioned the blocking on my first post :roll: ) 4. This is not a discussion on p2p vs f2p. On highscores, fishing is fishing, and cooking is cooking. Hate to break it to you, but clicking on a lobster spawn on p2p, and clicking on a lobster spawn on f2p, is the EXACT same thing. For all you guys know, I could have fished all of my lobsters on karamja, and then just gone to fishing guild for level pics. But I guess it was bound to happen. I refrained from posting in your "farewell" thread, but I see you just couldnt resist the temptation to flame mine. Thanks everyone else for your nonbiased ratings and comments :D

Well, I for one find fly fishing extremely boring (cant say monkfish and lobster are much better, though). I enjoy a good sized crowd to fish with, and talk with. Fly fishing usually lacks both, and really monkfish's crowd has been getting smaller, as well. (Switched back to lobs for the next level or two) Also, as opposed to the 5-6 mil I'd make fly fishing (minus a little over 1 mil for feathers), Ill be making 30-40 mil. I plan on using this towards my next few goals (which I will be sure to announce once I complete this goal). Monkfish were giving me around 30k an hour, I think. Never totally timed it, and I end up going on and off a lot.

Thats the plan. Will hopefully get me going quickly on my next two goals :wink: :D

For the next level or two, Im back at fishing guild (joined a new clan). I haven't decided weather to sell my raws, or cook and then sell. (Count is up to 13k raw lobs, 8500 raw monkfish). Can I cook your lobs for you since you already have a 99? Please? (I just want 70 cooking :oops: ) If I decide to sell all of my raws, Ill be sure to tell you. Right now, I dont know what I plan on doing with them (Id like to keep my cooking rank below 1000) Thanks

My cooking was up to 88 when cook-x was launched, so I was nearing half way. I wouldnt have had a problem getting it to 99. I like to think so. If the exp is lower, the cash is definately higher (10x) :D

Thanks :D From my experience, monkfish are almost as fast exp as fly fishing. Monkfish are 120 fishing exp, while trout are 50, and salmon is 70. That means that one monkfish equals 2 salmon/trout (approx, random). When I tried fly fishing at a lower level, and compared it to lobster fishing at that same level, I got around 500 more exp in the 5 minute period. I find monkfish around the same speed as lobs, so with the extra exp, Id say theyre quicker, if not just as quick as fly fishing. (Not to mention the awesome profit) (Im hoping this makes sense to you) Thank you :!: :P

(I was totally the first to have this in my thread :lol: ) Well, when I started Runescape, I immediately took a liking to fishing and cooking. Ive always wanted them very high, and I recently (semi recently) decided I wanted to max their levels out. These goal signatures will show you how far along I am on each of my goals. I started with cooking, and on February 10th 2006, I completed my cooking goal, with the level of 99. Soon followed 100 cooking (months after) After I passed over the "What do I do know" phase, I began fishing (unfortunately, it took me a good 2 and a half months for this phase). I began with lobsters, but with the release of the "Swan Song" quest, and the new "Monkfish", I quickly switched over to fishing Monkfish. Here are the dates for my fishing levels, so far. 81 - 4/14 82 - 4/22 83 - 4/24 84 - 4/26 85 - 4/30 86 - 5/4 87 - 5/6 88 - 5/9 89 - 5/15 90 - 5/20 91 - 6/5 (Had to up combat to 90 for clan, as well as a week constructing to 70) 92 - 6/10 93 - 7/29 (Has a lot of real life things going on in that time, but am back to finish now) 94 - Unknown due to data loss 95 - Unknown due to data loss 96 - 11/25 97 - 12/25 (one month for the level... youch!) 98 - 1/13 99 - 1/27 Thank you for viewing! Well, welcome to my thread. The old topic has moved out to a new home in the South, so my new goal decided to move in. :D Finished my fishing recently, and after so much fishing, even one's most hated things become likeable. So, I am currently raising defence, and slaying as I do so. Beginning Defence - 83 Current Defence - 89 Beginning Slayer - 64 Current Slayer - 72 My goals are pretty straigh-tforward. :P Will edit in a few other things later. Just do not have the time to upload.
