I don't think it's Impossible. Have to do Koralon --> Emalon --> Archavon DPS Koralon down to about 5% then leave a tank and a healer in the middle with him. Then go to Emalon and nuke him to about 5% too and bring him to Arcahavon. Them DPS Archavon like normal but kill the adds. When he gets to about 50% nuke down Emalon and Koralon before going all out on Archavon. Probably possible to do it Archavon then Emalon but I think that way might have more problems. You'd need 3 tanks, 3 healers than 4 uber DPS. It's hard but I don't see it as impossible. The 25 man version should be a lot easier.

Thought I'd be internetless by now, apparently not so I may have the chance to do ToC25 tonight, I really hope so as yesterday's ToC10 has really gotten me in the mood for some proper raiding rather than running Naxx puggs.

Joined a proper Raiding guild now, pugged Ulduar 10 yesterday and did everything up to Keepers. Today had my first Guild raid, ToC10. Most of us had not done it before so it was interesting. One shot Northrend Beasts and Jarxwhateverhisnameis. Wiped once on the Faction champions due to not having a proper plan first time. For the final boss atm the Twins. We wiped first time not really knowing what we were doing, second time one of the tanks messed up, third time one of the tanks was AFK at the start >_<, fourth time the instance server went down or something. Then we got it on the 5th try despite them getting a sucessful twin pact in at about 5% >_< I got some new legs and just about have enough tokens to upgrade to tier 8.5 chest to keep my tier 8 set bonus. Losing internet tomorrow for an unknown amount of time, hopefully have it back by Wednesday next week for the raid resets. We should be starting ToC25 next week and will finish ToC10. Also now maxed Tailoring and my server had the instance server upgrade this week so woo :D

Yes you can buy game cards. You need to get a "key" for the game which can either be bought online or bought as a retail box. However whichever you do you can Download the game.

You're doing it wrong.

The easiest way for them to raise the HP cap if they ever need to would be to make one HP level worth more than one HP. Say 1.5x for 150hp etc. However it's not quite at that stage yet.

Congrats everyone, well deserved and I'm sure you'll all do a fantastic job as you have been doing thus far :thumbup: The 2007 trainee applications started in Late August with the date for closing 5th September IIRC. It wasn't until late November when I found out I had been picked then Late December before I had become a trainee, then late January I was made a full mod, so it was about 5 months after my Application when I became a full moderator. It's been just under three months for these lot, a much faster turn around which is always a good thing.

I've been playing WoW for 6 months now and it's nothing like Runescape. I don't why people continually compare the two they are completely different games. While they're the two "biggest" MMORPGs that's the only thing they have in common.

3.2.2 sounds hot too Actually, Missile Barrage sucks now, but I guess the lower mana cost will make it useful and the 4x stack of Arcane Blast before firing it off will probably not effect DPS too much just save mana which is nice Although for the extra damage to offset the loss of faster Arcane Missiles you'd actually up using the same mana as before #-o

Yeah. It's like 75% at 80. And most are scrubs. That's an absolute exaggeration. Death Knights at 80 are more populous than other classes because they're easier to level and 'cool?' I guess. Either way, its nowhere near 75% or 50% as players main characters, at all; there are still quite a few though. It sucks being in the same Token group as them and Druids, the two most popular classes on my server =/

Speaking of Ulduar, joined in a group that was doing Keepers, and we had ignis to do too. Ignis went down after about 5 tries due to the person tanking the adds not knowing what to do 100% We've failed on Hodir due to people not being able to avoid the frost blast and and freeing the NPCs... Now we're wiping on Thorim. Horrid experience for my first proper chance at Ulduar =/

Raid lockouts really annoy me. With today being the last day before the reset and still not having done Naxx25 I get an invite to do Military wing + Saph and KT so I decide sure, I only need to do it for a few emblems anyway and perhaps the sword off KT so why not. Get there, save myself to the instance one try of the first boss and we wipe and everyone leaves :roll: Atleast I had highest DPS for the fight =/ I need to get into either a good guild or just change servers but I can't really afford the cost of changing servers atm.

Mages have highest Mana don't they? Especially Arcane spec. Although they run out of mana really quickly. I'm just below 20k mana unbuffed (19893) which goes to 21k once I use arcane intellect, hardly see any other glasses with more. Edit: you also missed Enchanting which means you can put enchantments (+stats) on equipment. You can also disenchant equipment to get supplies for Enchantment and other skills like tailoring.

Paladins are Melee based, You can either be a Tank (Prot), DPS (Ret) or Healer (Holy) but they are not spell casters as such (although they do have a few spells). Also for the kill the 3 VoA dudes in 60 seconds my thinking was: Get The fire dude to low HP first and bring him to the centre and keep a tank + 2 healers there (maybe 1 healer), then go to Emalon and bring him down to 5% or so then kite him towards the middle ish and his adds close to Archavon. Then Nuke the crap out of Archavon and kill the Emalon adds when needed. Then when Archavon is down to about 40% hp finish off Emalon and Korvalon or whatever his name is then finish nuking Archavon. 10 man you'd have to be far far overgeared for it. You'd need 3 tanks, 3 healers and then 4 DPS. Same order but you'd need one tank to hold Emalon + adds and someone to heal them through both of them.

Mages, Warlocks and Priests are the main casters and are also can be killed the easiest due to only being able to wear cloth armour. However Warlocks can have a pet to help them which can take the damage instead of the Warlock. However this is really only a problem for levelling and once you reach 80 your defence/armour shouldn't matter if you are playing with competent people. Shamans and Druids (Boomkin form) are two other casters who can wear Mail and Leather Respectively (Cloth < Leather < Mail < Plate in terms of defence).

You will want to download the game from the World of Warcraft site (If you live in Europe there's a different version of the game so you'll need to get the European version). You can then get a 10 day trial from various places if you wish. When you have decided you want to play, you will need to get either "World of Warcraft" or "World of Warcraft Battlechest". This is a retail box that includes a disc (but it's easier just to download the game) and a registration code, the battlechest also includes Burning Crusade which is the first expansion and adds Two new Races and a whole new area covering levels 60-70 and the battlechest has some guides too which may help slightly although I'm sure a lot has changes since they were printed. You don't need to be Wrath of the Lich King right now, the earliest you'll want to buy it is when you reach level 55 and that's if you want a Death Knight, if not then you can wait all the way up to level 68. Wrath of the Lich King is the 2nd expansion and adds the Death Knight Class and another area stretching up to level 80. If you do download it, I'd recommend downloading the Wrath of the Lich King client straight away as this is compatible with Normal WoW accounts and BC accounts which will save you a lot less hassle then having to install it again etc. The 10 day trial is very limited - you can get to level 20 I believe but you can't talk to people or anything. And the game only really starts picking up for a lot of classes around the level 20-30 level.

I was told today that apparently stacking spell power gems is bad and I should be getting crit instead? Even though when I started getting crit people said I was doing it wrong and should get spell power :wall: What's the stat "tier" for arcane mages? I was told Spell Power > Haste > Crit > Intellect (this is after hit cap) which is what I've chosen my gear on (Always has to give me more spell power than my last bit of gear and then I pick haste instead of crit) which seems to be working well for me, up to 2145 Spell power 14.88% haste but only 18.23% crit. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... =Milfamore Obviously not much I can do about it now, but is it worth replacing some gems when I get new gear with some crit gems instead? Or just stick to putting in whatever +SP gems I can get? Also would I get a huge increase in switching to a fire spec? If so anyone got a link to one + the standard spell rotation etc. I'm really liking Arcane and my Arcane Blast crits ~45% of the time (some fights it's up to about 60%). I really need to get into a group for Ulduar but to get into a pugg I'd need to have done Ulduar already... which means joining a guild that does Ulduar but the only way to join a guild raiding Ulduar would be to have already done Ulduar :wall: :wall:

Finally got an epic helm, the 219 from the new HC. The first cloth helm that has dropped (other than Tier 7 tokens at KT) since the day I dinged 80... So I have the epic achievement now :D

I can never do the chord changes in that song, the strumming - fine, the solos - fine it's just those bloody chord changes :s

Yeah it's pretty hard think we wiped 4 times perhaps, 3 times on the first set of 3 bosses and then one more time on the boss after that but 1 shotted the final boss (easiest of the lot imo). Normal gives great loot too, got a new trinket (Like the Sundial but gives Haste instead of Crit) and from the HC I got the Spell Dagger which I socketed with a the new +23 spell power gem :D Also got Combustion Bracers from FL 10 man, was really tempted to sell them but that wouldn't have been fair.
