Its called to many people in one place, the game makes everyone hold weapons in the same position, to prevent slow down in busy areas.

You use the tickets to get into Cyclops room, where you can kill the cyclops for defenders. Your tickets drain every minute, fact is it's a random drop, you won't get the defenders every time just like any other item. It's like expecting an obby shield after killing 10 tzharr, its a rare drop, gain tickets and have pateince. I'm tempted to make a joke about the village people suddenly appearing in RS, but.....I won't. If you're looking for a spear better than bronze for Two wai bwanna, just kill Mossies, as I've found they're pretty regualar droppers.

2 people died when I did that quest, though I never found it too hard and I only brought 4 waterskins. Though the guy dieing with 14 swordies on him did help... I always say bring a friend along to do a quest.
