im using dell dimension pc desktop 4600 with windows xp the missing/corrupt file is supposed to be in C:\WINDOWS\system32\c_1252.nls (this is my laptop...different from my desktop computer) my theory as to what happened: i got an idiotic virus sent to me on aim, so i ran adaware. the virus saved itself in system32, and might have infected another file. i think adaware deleted that infected file too, and that is the file that my computer says is missing or corrupt. i called the dell tech guys and they were completely useless...20 min of waiting on the phone and i get a 2 min conversation with this useless weirdo.... :evil: i still have all of the reinstallation discs, so can anyone help me out? i have a paper on that computer that i need to get to a teacher quick... :cry:

I wanted something funny and cool, and originally thought of this: "why are you reading the back of my iPod?" but they i decided i wanted my name in it for identification purposes. and still be funny. it actually took me a few tries to get this right. once a beggar noob ruined came in and ruined the screenshot and wouldn't leave for a while. then, the chickens started disappearing.... one time, i got a good shot with one of the piglets too, but that one got ruined by another noob. :(

I think everyone here has experienced this...you're at world 1 or something trying to sell/buy when there are hundreds of other players saying all sorts of stuff...and really there is no point of even HAVING a chat box. u advertise something, and then somebody is trying to trade with you, but you dont know who that person is cuz thers a million ppl standing in the same spot...and u hav to scroll up all the way to find their name...and by the time u find it....the person's gone. potential solutions? i thought of having a small trade window somewhere in the corner of ur screen so that u can get a list of all the ppl who want to trade u and u dont lose the names--in case u have to report them or something. Another thing that would be helpful is a chat box freeze, where u can completely stop all incoming chat in order to find ur trader. hi guys the new SAT test has been administered as of March 2005. A lot of people think that it is a better test than the old SAT, some think that it has a lot of stuff that is really unnecessary. Analogies are gone, so are quantitative comparisons, but there is a bit more advanced math and an essay as well. the new SAT is also scored out of 2400, whereas the previous one was out of 1600. I took the old SAT three times before starting high school and i did ok on it, 1340 was my average score. i guess this stinks because its kinda like i took the old SAT three times for nothing... :? but i dont really know too much about taking this new one and i am going to be taking it soon. does anybody have any comments or bits of advice they would like to give me? or how to start preparing perhaps?

For DVDs, i use DVD Shrink which I think is rather good. but since it only shrinks them, you need burning software...you can use nero but i use Sonic since it came with my computer and i didnt want to download any more stuff :wink:

any suggestions as to how the shade the cape effectively?

um...i realized this as i looked at the pic again: since im so used to drawing woman figures, his waist area is a bit curvy and resembles a woman... :oops: and also, i was wondering if there was a more efficient way to shade. i spent forever trying to shade this (and it still s**ks pretty bad). like i said, i am an amateur when it comes to this stuff this is the first pixel drawing i made in my life...

hi guys i made my first pixel drawing on MS paint and i want to enhance it using adobe photoshop elements 3.0. my picture is FAAAR from finished, and i would really appreciate suggestions and comments. (dont worry about hurting my feelings, go and insult the pic all you want lol, just be honest :o ) **at first glance, it looks like the guy's right arm is wicked short, it was supposed to look like he was bending it backwards...but as you can see, i failed miserably trying to do that :oops: ** There are a few things i would like to do to the pic - make the guy look like he is standing ankle deep in water, and have his reflection showing - draw a good cape - improve the color quality (im really nooby when it comes to graphics) - make a good background - resize the pic so that it could fit in a sig but still retain its quality if you could help me with those things, i would really appreciate it, and please leave any comments, compliments, complaints...watever. thank you very much everybody. :)
