1. Rune Scimmy. You'd die if you used a 2H since you can't wield an anti fire shield that way. 2. I think they are, my stats were around there when I did the quest. 3. Definately. It's not really worth it :P The stall takes about 4 minutes to respawn. Only worth stealing from if you're alching or something :wink: As I posted earlier, I hear the Rogue's Den thieving game (or whatever it is :oops: ) is good for gems. I haven't tried it myself though.

There are also ways to get gems other than mining them. You can steal them, for example. There is a gem stall (slow for getting gems, but still available) and in the Rogue's Den.

I would argue that the best place to mine gold is in Brimhaven. First create a house in Brimhaven. Near the portal for POH (south and a bit to the west) there are about 8 gold rocks. You can mine your gold, teleport to Edgy or CWS to bank, then teleport back to your house in Brimhaven and walk back to the gold :wink:
