I decided it was about time to update people on my rl pic, rather than just the nerf gun. I'm feeling generous so here you go: [hide=A good amount of pictures from most recent to older ones. 06-09] Went to an Indians/Twins game this year and absolutely loved it, even if we were told it was going to be Dollar Dog day and it wasn't. :( Me at work at our campus TV station. I am floor directing, but I got a promotion to Technical Director. And yes, that is the christmas show. Jamba Juice is fantastic, and having one in front of the Bean (Skygate) at Millenium Park in Chicago is just that much better. Eh, I was going to have an infamous picture of me here with two girls, but I've been told it was a PG-13 rating. :lol: I'll just leave that picture on my facebook and with those that have seen it. :) Senior prom from 2007, what a fantastic evening that was. And that has been the most I have dressed up in my life. So I have to keep this photo just for reference sakes. :D Mission Trip in 2007 down to Hurricane Katrina rebuilding. Eh, it's both Forum and Website. :P I don't know how efficiently a new "hot" guide comes around. There isn't the same kind of traffic/new topics in PMG compared to that of the Gen Discussion. I will definitely pass this suggestion to the other PMG mods and see if we like the idea or not, but that doesn't mean you should stop posting pros and cons. I'd love to hear others opinions on this topic. :)

To be honest, there is nothing wrong with Internet Dating. I've had an early relationship with a girl I met online, but it was just a summer fling, nothing serious. Now just because you think it is wrong, doesn't mean it is inherently wrong for everyone. It's just a preference on how someone wants to conduct themselves in their social relationships. If someone wants to date online, then let them. JUST because you don't know what someone looks like nor know fully if they are telling the truth or not, that isn't a reason to bash. Isn't trust a major quality in relationships? On those premises, I don't think it is wrong to be dating someone online. I have some good friends I have met through runescape and they are quality friendships. Why does there have to be a line drawn between friendships and dating relationships?

The past fictional story, "When Kingdoms Collapse" was wrapped up last week. Who knows, maybe there could be more from this author? We will have to see.

To answer your question about what new members ask, is because they want to know what is the funnest thing to do. They want to jump heads into some of the best stuff that it has to offer for their taste. Now with the majority of members on TIF being that of high level range, I find the idea of exploring for this demographic being little to none. But the biggest thing I would have to say is the idea of what has already been said is this "goalscape" (never heard this term until this topic but it makes sense). As the saying goes, 'Time is money' and I guess that is the same principle applied to those playing this game. Oh well, it is how they want to play.

It's a brilliant PR move, anyway - it reduces the likelihood of ranters complaining how it didn't meet their expectations. Too bad it won't totally eliminate that... The thing I'm thinking about is how many ranters do you think actually read the Development Blogs? Half of them just post on the forums without any background knowledge. Of course the other half of the ranters that look at every little thing Jagex does and criticizes them for it may shut up for this update. : There probably will be a huge chunk who only read the very last two sentences and think that is what the blog is. This blog will "shut up" those that would have criticized for the period of time it took to develop the new tech for the game, but then there are going to be those that complain because of the amount of time for something that they now know that this game will not make their expectations. Overall, still the best move on their part to basically say, "Hey, this is new, so give us some leeway as we try to develop this into something better in the future." Personally, I'm not a fan of Real time strategy games like Age of Empires, but if this new technology can be used for other new updates, then I will thank them for the new advances.

The plot is the reason I go to movies, but then again, that is what I go to school for. Anywho, I was kinda disappointed in the movie. I really had wish that the movies would have followed somewhat better the 80's cartoon, but they are just pretty much taking scraps and making something out of it that they can sell toys for. [hide=Spoilers]I did enjoy Jetfire and Optimus joining together, cause that did happen previously. Also the new SoundWave, as a satellite rather than a boom box, pretty much awesome. But yeah the plot of optimus being awesome, being dead for most of the movie, and then coming back stronger than ever is a typical transformers plot. What can you do...[/hide] Oh well, a recent movie that was actually worth my money and time.
