To answer your question about what new members ask, is because they want to know what is the funnest thing to do. They want to jump heads into some of the best stuff that it has to offer for their taste. Now with the majority of members on TIF being that of high level range, I find the idea of exploring for this demographic being little to none. But the biggest thing I would have to say is the idea of what has already been said is this "goalscape" (never heard this term until this topic but it makes sense). As the saying goes, 'Time is money' and I guess that is the same principle applied to those playing this game. Oh well, it is how they want to play.

It's a brilliant PR move, anyway - it reduces the likelihood of ranters complaining how it didn't meet their expectations. Too bad it won't totally eliminate that... The thing I'm thinking about is how many ranters do you think actually read the Development Blogs? Half of them just post on the forums without any background knowledge. Of course the other half of the ranters that look at every little thing Jagex does and criticizes them for it may shut up for this update. : There probably will be a huge chunk who only read the very last two sentences and think that is what the blog is. This blog will "shut up" those that would have criticized for the period of time it took to develop the new tech for the game, but then there are going to be those that complain because of the amount of time for something that they now know that this game will not make their expectations. Overall, still the best move on their part to basically say, "Hey, this is new, so give us some leeway as we try to develop this into something better in the future." Personally, I'm not a fan of Real time strategy games like Age of Empires, but if this new technology can be used for other new updates, then I will thank them for the new advances.

The plot is the reason I go to movies, but then again, that is what I go to school for. Anywho, I was kinda disappointed in the movie. I really had wish that the movies would have followed somewhat better the 80's cartoon, but they are just pretty much taking scraps and making something out of it that they can sell toys for. [hide=Spoilers]I did enjoy Jetfire and Optimus joining together, cause that did happen previously. Also the new SoundWave, as a satellite rather than a boom box, pretty much awesome. But yeah the plot of optimus being awesome, being dead for most of the movie, and then coming back stronger than ever is a typical transformers plot. What can you do...[/hide] Oh well, a recent movie that was actually worth my money and time.

I hate to play this card, but it feels like a PR attempt to me. Yeah, it won't be HUGELY fantastic and the wait probably isn't going to be worth it, but eh, they made a smart move with this blog.

This is the reason why I never utilized this function. By the time it came out, I was basically done with all the quests, so I didn't want to check each and every box. I'd love to see this small update.

Fun little update for f2p I would say, but I personally enjoy doing hell hounds when doing slayer. I range them in the ardy pure gold mine. Easy for me and plus I enjoy getting charms/clue scrolls. So overall, keep it how it is.

I find prosilver to be just fantastic. I've never had any problems with it. And it is too easy to read the difference between new and old posts. The only reason one should have difficulty is in case of a color blindness.

I would enjoy that first addition. Beats counting it up every time. That second one, I don't think is ideal. Because there are a variety of methods in training, whether that be the cost efficient, time efficient, or pouch/scroll necessity method. So in reality, I wouldn't use that, because there are too many variables at stake to consider.

A recent rant came up about Level 3 skillers, which could be of help to you in answering your question on what people think about them. Personally, I don't have a problem with them. I have one myself, I just don't ever play it anymore because the use of it is obsolete. (reason found in the topic). But yeah, I say just play the game and enjoy it. That's what matters.

Oh, most definitely for fun. If I don't enjoy something, I'm not going to do it. I'm here to play and have some fun.
