Looks good so far, but I can see a few things... dragonhide erm... diamonds are all the same, when they'd really be different when the body part is different Mage's head looks too short Mage's hand with the fire doesn't seem to be there, just a sleeve with fire. I love the way you shade robes and stuff, with the [bleep]e-looking shadows.

Vector, for sure. Seriously you're amazing at vectors and one of the only people I see with them, so use it! I'm trying to do vector stuff with flash but doesn't turn out too great (like my sig)

If you're making this into a pixel, you'll have to clean the lines up. Looks great so far, love the hair... looks like DBZ or a mix of Cloud and Sephiroth from FF7 :P

No, Mxm is saying that you pixel the background first, then make the background lighter where the robes should be. Edit: yup, EP said it before me, and with a better explanation :P

You can make the brush feathered, so at the edges it fades out. That should give you a good transition between shades.

Lines need to be cleaned, and you might want to make all of the linework before you start coloring, just to get a sense of what you'll be coloring overall.

Quick little picture on cleaning your lines... cleaning them means making them 1 px thick all of the time, so it doesn't look thick in some places and skinny in others.

Looks good so far, all I can see wrong is the hilt of the sword, well, the handguard looks really big. Hair and face look good other than that, I'd like to see how it turns out :)

I rate it a 7 for a first time. Put some more time into cleaning up the lines and fixing the proportions. This could go in the Media Discussions board since it's mostly for C/C... I wouldn't try to sell your first sig, get used to it more.

I think you just need to put more time into shading. The shading I see on those pixels is good, but I only really see it near some sort of edge or crease. If you shade the whole body it might look better.

Im hoping to sell this pixel eventually, and I need some C/C. Just basic things, and also if someone could reccomend some scene to use as a background, that would help. I'm stuck on that thought :oops: THANKS! Also, I know the greataxe is a two-handed weapon, I just chose to do it this way.

Im finishing up this avatar and I don't know how to make a pixel moon... I've made the basic shape and I guess color, but I'd like to get some advise with the craters and shading. (If you have some sort of image with a pixel moon I could use for reference, that would be great!) While you're here, you can C/C on the avatar overall if you want, that helps too. THANKS! **I did use search, and the only other thread I found about making a moon wasn't pixel so that doesn't help I plan on selling this, so I want to make it as good as possible. If you want to buy it, say so, but that's not what the thread is for.

looks good, but it's very simple. If you aimed for it to be simple, then it's perfect, otherwise its just lacking something exciting.

ok, thanks for suggestions :D I wasn't sure what to do with the eyes :lol: I normally draw people with big-ish eyes like that with a pencil, and it just didn't really work here. Guess I'll make them smaller to make it work.

Im still in the proccess of making this, but so far I think its good... I need to add a background and maybe some hair, but while I do that: anyone have advise? Im thinking of what kind of background to do and if there is anything wrong with the picture I should fix. Thanks!

It looks cool, but I don't really think it needs the 2 small buttons, unless they each went to something different.

OK right before this someone one lvl higher than me asked to trade his d long for my d scimmy. I said no thanks and he starts talking about how he's done monkey madness and that he can use it... Right after he called me a noob he left; too bad because I said "I really don't care" and he missed it :cry:
