I quit playing in like feb or march of 06 and just started playing again as of a few weeks ago, and everything is fine with my account..

I quit playing around 2 years ago or so, and before I quit, I got a level 3 scroll. I quit just as gilded armor had been introduced as rewards.. my question is, even though it is a level 3 scroll, is there any chance I could get 3rd age as a reward since I got the scroll long before 3rd age was introduced?

Well, I can see both sides of the argument. Many people would not expect a level 3 to have stats any higher than xx/99, because they are a level three. So I can understand why she thinks having her stats at her level would be the base of her argument. However, you bring up a valid point that non-combat related skills are easy to level in, so you are both correct. Your argument with her comes down to an argument based on opinion, which means you both are right in your own respective minds. I personally feel that anyone, regardless of combat level, that has a skill level higher than 70 in any particular skill deserves a :thumbup: for the time put forth for that skill, and anyone with a 99 deserves :thumbsup:

with.. 40 att 53 str 5 def 59 mage 60 range you are at 33 cmbt.. I would leave att cap'ed, train on mage and range, and then get str.

get rc up and make nats, fish, start slayer, etc.

I would say mining.. Example: You mine iron ore only, if you sell for 90gp ea, that is 2520gp per load. If you fish anchovies, and lets just say you get 14 in a load, 14 @ 160ea is 2240gp per load. You are garunteed to make more mining, and that is just with iron. I would stick with mining until you make your desired cash, and then train on fishing.

How do you have 50 mage and 25 att with only 10 hp? mage = alch'ing/enchanting att = lamps and security boosk from randoms from wc'ing that would be my guess.

Congrats on the 99 fletch/wc! I will be much more excited about getting 99 mage than I am about fletching. How is the the hunting coming along?

thanks! I know there is really no reason for me to go for 80 wc, but it is a nice round number to go along with 99 fletch. I just did not feel it was right to have 99 fletch, and a low wc level...do not want to make it look like I bought the 99 completely :lol:

I just got back in to the game after two years away.. lvl 85 1125 total A brief history of my account, and what is being held in my account.. I quit having had blue, white, green, yellow phats. (2) h'ween set, (3) santa, (5) easters, pumpkin, full guth, verac, ahrims, d chain, d legs, (3) whips, obby shield, and enough nats for 90 mage. The funny thing is most of the stuff I have, I can not even use since I have not yet purchasded membership, and I can not take it out of the bank, or I will not be able to put it back in! All I did was merch..I bought all this when phats were still going for 80m for blue, the d chain was 30m, guthans was 16m, etc. I have no idea what the stuff is worth now, other than the rares...but the problem with rares are no one has money anymore, everyone wants to trade for masks or 3rd age. Plus with the trade limit and ge, merch'ing on RS is not fun anymore. My goals now are as follows.. 80 wc Once I get that, I will get membership again and get the following: 99 fletch 99 mage 90 range 70 str 50 prayer That will leave me at 90 cmbt after a couple hitpoint levels. Once I achieve those goals, I will once again retire the account. Here are some pictures that I posted on this forum back when I played: Keep in mind, this was 2+ years ago, not long after barrows was released. add to that a green phat, full verac, full ahrim, and you've got all my current outfits. i mix and match the items everyday, i try to change outfits everyday to keep the items from getting dusty in the bank :P I had more screenshots on this forum, but apparently they were lost or something when the forum crashed..so were a bunch of my posts that I had :?. So, those are goals. Any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Some sort of healing skill. You could be like a doctor on a pvp world, and heal others..

I'm sorry but Runescape is not solely about Partyhats. There's actually a ton of content out there such as combat, boss hunting, skilling, slayer, etc. Phats are not the end all be all of this game. Quite frankly I'm somewhat glad merchanting of that scale is wiped clean from RS. How about you try and go out and get your own Armadyl Hilt as a drop instead of merchanting it for quick profit? You wouldn't like that would you, too much hard work amirite? We all play the game for different reasons. I was never much a fan of skilling or killing monsters. Having the ability to drive the market and control prices for the entire game while sitting in fally on world 2 was both fun, and exciting for me. The ge and trade limit has ruined that feeling for me, and that is all I intended to say in my post.

There were a lot of great people I met when I played, but I am not sure if they play anymore. I deleted a lot of great names from my friend list when I started playing again recently.. Has anyone in this thread mentioned Shiva? I met a lot of great merchanter:, R2-Pleasent(old tip it'er), Wp Sk8ordie, Fredmcgarry, this list goes on. I had full 200 friends that were on my list, but I do not remember any of their names now..oops.

The money itself is not the key to happiness, but working to build net worth to have the ability to buy whatever you want is an amazing feeling. When I played the game back in 04-06, I had so much fun merchanting and turning a profit. When I was able to get in to phat merchin, being able to turn a 10-20m profit in just a few trades was an amazing feeling. Because of the money earned in making those profits, I was able to buy skills I never dreamed of leveling in. I quit with 99 mage, and 99 fletching in my bank acct. Now that I am back in to the game again, in just the two years I have been away, a lot has changed in the game. Once I get around to fletching and alching, I will be able to wear capes. There are a lot more items I can try, armor, weapons, etc. and without having the money to buy these things, I would be just another lvl 85 roaming around the rs world. Of course money buys happiness..

That is exactly right. When I used to merchant back in 05-06, it was very easy to turn a profit on phats. I actually just got back in to playing again a few weeks ago, and the trade limit/ge is the worst thing that has ever happened in this game in my opinion. GE, trade limit, and Jagex killed phats..
