  2. I'm probably never going to finish this anyways but what the heck. ______________ Characters: Vornac Age: 32 Gender: male Combat: Learned in every art, he is hard to take down because because of the wide range of styles he uses, although somewhat attached to his dagger. Biography: Famed mercenary. Usually works for Asgarnia and is hated by Mithalin because of an attempt to murder the duke of Lumbridge. ______________ Chapter 1: The First Stone A man silently glides through the marshes and thickets of Lumbridge swamp. A goblin hides in the marshes for prey. The goblin leaps and rams the man with his spear, only to find the handle servered and a bloodred dagger puncturing his scales and mail. From the moment, every creature only hides and observs the man. He pays no attention to them. Through what seems to be the thickest undergrowth, he broke into a clearing, frightening away the giant rats who dwells there. In the center stands a hut. The man seems to pause at the door, before firing a great burst of fire, consuming half the hut in flames. The magical flames died away a moment later. Inside, he throws a powerful kick at a large barrel, and out burst a river of wine, but more importantly, a clear blue stone with the symbol of the air rune engraved upon it. Liquid dripped from the stone as it was carried into the swamp once again. After several minutes, in the entrance of the Lumbridge swamps the man reappeared into a guard which he managed to avoid on the way in. "Halt!" commanded the guard. "The mercenary Vornac? You dare show your face here? Prepare to be arrested!" The guardblast a large horn into the silent night air. All over town, the reserve guards and draynor militia gathered near the gates. Vornac whipped out his dagger as the guards lept at him. With one quick stroke, the spearhead of several lancers splintered. He twirled a stunned guard around and use him as a meat shield to stop the next barrage of spears. Vornac muttered a sound and hurled the bloody body into the pack of men with superhuman strength. As the squad is still in confusion, three quick punctures marked the end for three guards. More men gathered and formed a wall to block Vornac, spears out. From out in his coat, he pulled a powerful yew bow. He tilted it into a horizontal angle, hooked three arrows with a shining greyish arrowheads and let loose. The arrows whistled barely a microsecond before striking a trio of defenders in the middle of the forehead. Not risking more lives, the proud captain, Kecletian ordered the squad to charge at Vornac. With the sound of steel ringing in the air, Vornac was brought down and stripped of all weaponry. Depair was the death of many brave warriors, but it is also the source of the SoulStones' power, and Vornac was struck with despair. ____________________ What, you really think I'm done? Just out of time that's all. This is about half of chapter one. Nice cliffhanger, wouldn't you think. By the way, the main character hasn't been revealed yet, this is to set the setting of the story, and Vornac is a bad guy :P
  3. Here's an idea. Make the minigames that are like CW or Pest Control level separated. One portal only accepts people level 1-50, another 50-80 and last 90+. Make the creatures difficulty level compare to the combat level. For example, the strongest monsters in the first portal would have only level 20s-70s, the second difficulty level 40s-120s and the hardest 100s+. Also, there would be a portal accepting everyone with creatures from 20s to 100+ just in case people can't find enough people to play a game.
  4. Actually, it helps magesas well. A Seercull bow can lower the magic level of the target, which also lowers their magic defense. Anyone tried to clobber someone and enfeeble them at the same time? that must be a lot of defense points lost :P
  5. He beat the game, admit it. By maxing out every level in every skill, he completed (or nearly) every aspect of the game. In Runescape context, that's an achievement. Don't tell me you don't expect respect from someone whose twenty levels below you. Well, I respect him because of the same reason -- he has the dedication and patience to complete such a long game. Just from writting in this forum alone, it meant that you spent a good portion of your life in this game as well. I ask you, what you play for? Probably leisure. To him, completing the game is a goal. This game is a hobby that he's willing to dedicate his time to, much like how others dedicate themselves into anime, or writting, or programming. Whether the hobby's worth the time from other people's perspective is pointless. What's "worth-it" to spent time on depends on each person's own perspective. If you dare to denounce him wasting his time, then I can similiarly denounce you of wasting your time posting here, or wasting your time pursuing an education, or (in the future) wasting your time working in a curbicle. What is different about his goal is that it leeches his family's resources and he ignores their requests to get a job. Stop ignoring this fact. And if his family asked him for more then a whole year, why did he ignore them. To me, he can support himself finacially and know his family can also support themselves.
  6. The greed factor has consumed everyone who did not start playing Runescape the since the last two years. Even who i thought were my friends were scamming me. Bye-bye.
  7. Oh yes i know what you're talking about! My friend claimed to "borrow" my full rune and stole it! I later found out another person got my friend's password and it was not his fault but oh well. My loss :(
  8. Please note that junkieman mean it raises all of your combat stats, not combat lvl and it would be better if it only contain one dose per pot so it saves 3 drinking times the monster can attack you.
  9. u mean the one they made about 2 or 3 month ago?

You start at king Lathas to find that his people has been claiming trouble and many riots/fights has been started. His whole kindom is in chaos! His asks you to visit the magic guild for advice. 2. You visit the magic guild to find that they have been very well detecting evils in Runescape. They ask you to search an area south of castle wars - where they detected a great energy. 3. You find a trasparent boat by the shores. When you board it to search, it magically floats off. You land on a small island. 4. Now in order to enter the portal, you find 3 key slots if you search the gate. 7. You will find a cave full of lesser demons and the great mage Tristantis at the end. He will tell you about how he is trying to penatraing a gate where only demons may pass. Rewards: 1k mage xp, a new training area on lessers(about 15 regenerating spots)
  11. Random events were mande into the game to prevent bots, not to give ppl free money. They give a reward since the person isnt using a bot. Think of rewards that dont give much money or the such.
  12. I think we should have pots that can be used to heal. To make it you'll need: 3 1-bite food ... Herb Pestle and Motar Vial of water The healing pot doesnt increase the healing amount but instead, it allows you to carry up to 4 times the regular amount you can hold. For example, if you used 3 trouts, to make the pot, it would be called Level 7 Healing Potion(3) and each does would heal 7 hp. The level is how much it heals. There's different herblore levels that you need to mix foods and will be something like this: Pot level...Herb level 1...1 2...3 3...5 4...8 5...15 6...20 7...28 8...37 9...45 10...52 11...58 12...65 13-15...75 16-20...90 The precedure would be: 1. Gather neede items 2. Grind food into pestal and motar 3. Sprinkle food bits into Vial of water 4. Mix ... herb into Unfinished level .. healing Potion
