  1. Germany is going to disappoint this tournament. They haven't got Ballack, Klose is horribly out of form and Lahm? Come on. Our midfield and attack is way better than Germanies, I don't know about their defense.

I mostly agree with you, although I do think that Lahm is about as good as fullbacks come. I don't think the Germans will do terribly well, since as you say Klose is having a terrible time at the moment. If I was to pick the two danger men from the German squad it would be Trochowski and Schweinsteiger. Also, the vast majority of the German squad play in the Bundesliga, and I don't rate that league very highly compared to most other European top flights.

Of course I agree that Lahm is an excellent back. But you're not going to win the WC with an excellent back alone. That was what I was trying to say. My wording was poor, sorry.

  2. instead they got podolski and klose

    and isn't robben injured?

Robben is going to some kind of wonder doctor. The Danmark match is too early, but with some luck he's with us against Japan, and otherwise later in the tournament. :)

  3. Went to the gym to change my programme today. Had a condition test (bike, 10 minutes), result was "very good", I scored 11 points above the average for my age (which doesn't say much, but made me a little bit proud because I was 5 below the average when I started  ). After that I had my first Kinesis training, did an interval Steps training (15 minutes), some back and chest/shoulder exersises and after that I thought it was time to go home. In the official programme there's also an interval run and some small bicep-exersises.

    Yesterday I had a 20KM run.

  4. I love every topic where wep offers great, legit advice and they always shoot him down and disregard it. It's unbelievable.

Respect to wep for his persistence.

I think that most people don't realize that it actually takes some work to get and stay fit. They think "ah, 20 push-ups in the morning, lifting some dumbells and a mile in the evening and I'll be in incredible shape in no-time".

  5. Can you share your recent purchases here as well?

Last week there was a special sale at my neighbours shop, first item 30% off, second item 50% off.

    Shirt 1

    Shirt 2

    Jacket

    Shorts (but then in black)

Doesn't score too high on the 'classy meter', but I'm more casual than 'classy', and it looks nice.

  6. As how2pk once said

"If I like women, cars, and money, why shouldn't I like music that talks about women, cars, and money?"

Haha, did I say that?

  7. When you start running you can't just start with running 30 minutes. Try to figure out a scheme on the internet, there's plenty. When you start with 0 stamina you just run for like five minutes, walk for a couple of minutes, run for five minutes, walk for a couple of minutes and repeat that stuff. It also wouldn't be a very bad idea to train your legs, because your legs probably aren't used to the blows you get from running so you have a higher risk of injurys. Also invest in good shoes.

  8. Running is going pretty good now! We can run half a marathon without too much effort. We run around 12KM an hour now. The real thing is at the start of october. But since it's a coastal marathon we also need to start practicing on the beach and through the dunes. Going to my gym today to start up a special training program (for the weights and so, I stopped doing cardio at the gym) so that I have an extra good preparation. :)

you can choose for English language. You enter every movie you see and you grade (and review, if you want) it and then you keep track of every movie you see. You can export the stuff to post it on forums like I do.

[bleep], last time I asked you, you said it was Dutch only. <.< Unless they changed it recently. If not, you owe me 8 months of lost movie listing, How2PK.

Oh well, no matter. I registered yesterday. Is it okay to flood with movies, I might have watched 2 weeks ago but I put down I watched 2 days ago ? I've done it, but meh.

I did? The English part has been there for a while now. Longer than eight months. Sorry! They don't really like it if you put all those movies on one or two days, because it mixes up the statistics or something, like that. They;re kind of hard on that part. <_<

  10. How do you make those lists? But lol at all the 1930's movies and such.

    Last ones I watched -

Accepted : Pretty entertaining, but lacked in the adult jokes and scenes that make the other movies of this genre funny.

The Girl Next Door : I liked it when I watched, but looking back on it it was actually pretty bad.

Armoured : [bleep]ing awesome. 'Nuff said.

  12. There was a time that I didn't want to use my cell-phone. Because I thought (and still think) it is an a-social machine. People can't let it go. Then I decided that my protest wouldn't help anyone and that it only annoyed people and it's wasted money since I pay 11 euro for a contract a month. So, I started using it. I just call and text people whenever it is necessary. I don't use it for twitter, facebook or whatever and when I'm with somebody I won't use it either.

The discussion if the thing is useful or not, and that there was a time that people could live without one is kind of irrelevant. Times change, you can either go with it or stay behind.
