I was killing cave slimes but it still seemed slow. Any suggestions?

Put the mask set in the bank and forget about them. Do you have a character already? Work on it. I really can't see the advantage of starting over just because you can have a 75M advantage over everyone else starting in Lumbridge. Keep your character you have at the moment and work on him, sell the masks if you need cash. :)

This level does not come with as much satisfaction as maybe it should. I can safely say I felt absolutely nothing when that screen popped up. That is what is wrong with me playing the game, it no longer satisfies me. Even talking to my friends is no longer fulfilling. Taking my MTk reward was a big eye opener for me, things stack up and you don't notice them. I completely forgot about my resources being collected and they stacked up. I play too much, the time I spend playing is stacking up and I don't like it. I wish I could say something resolute that would bring some definitive meaning to my quitting, but it will be in vain if all my friends are still there hoping for my return. I don't look too closely at my best ranks, but at the moment my best is Firemaking. I am training it to 99 so my rank is always going up. :

It's called Real Life, great game that I'd recommend to anyone. Graphics are awesome and the gameplay is realistic down to the blade of the grass. Bit more tiring than sitting in front of RuneScape, but so much more rewarding. :P I will be back a bit later, just waiting on my Dad to get back from work so we can go to the gym. When I get back I shall aim to hit 85 Firemaking and make my decision on what I am going to do next.

Attack 35: Meh I don't pride myself with hitting too accurately. Strength 45: I do some weight training at the gym but I'm not a Hulk Hogan. Defence 50: I can take hits without getting hurt quite well but I will be knocked down eventually. Range 20: I've done various archery practise but I am not very good. Prayer 1: I don't go to Church. Magic 5: My magic tricks are pathetic. :oops: Health 50: I can withstand quite hard knocks but some things will obviously take their toll on me. Construction 25: I used to build treehuts and stuff when I was younger but nothing amazing. Agility 65: Running and athletics is the strongest part of my physique, I am a fast sprinter and I achieve well. \ Herblore 10: I made 'potions' when I was younger. Tasted like crap... Thieving 1: Steal?! Me?! Crafting 5: I am absolutely rubbish at art. Fletching 10: I can whittle a bit but I am nothing special. Hunting 1: Pfft. Mining 1: When would you ever need to mine in real life? :-s Smithing 1: Nah. Fishing 1: I have been fishing but never caught anything, thus my exp is at 0. O:) Cooking 25: I am an ok cook but not anything special. Firemaking 15: I like fire but I am not exactly a pyromaniac. Farming 15: Like above, I can garden a bit but I don't have any expert knowledge. Runecrafting 5: I played a game where you controlled a gnat farm, does that count? :-k Slayer 1: Yes, I like to kill people for money. Not. Woddcutting 5: I rule at snapping twigs off trees. :)

I am aiming for 85 Firemaking today, only around 1000 logs to go so I should make it quite easily. I am considering whether to take a short break from Firemaking, possibly a day of Barrows in hope to get my spear back? I know I will definitely stop at 92 to get my spear back before I continue on to 99 but the question remains whether to take a small break after 85 or whether to continue the slog to 92. We'll see. :-k

Hmm a lot of conflicting opinions on your thread. I am not going to be overly critical with the time you play; it is really none of my business whether you spend every waking moment on the game or whether you can only log on once a week. I strongly suggest other people start to keep the comments that include 'pmg no lief' to themselves so this thread isn't locked. It would be unfair for Simon to have his thread locked because of you lot taking an unneccessarily close look into his private life. Lay off, ok? Those stats are really impressive for 45 days, you obviously have a lot of determination and are able to stick to a task rather than stray from it. If you were a distractable person I don't think you would be able to manage that in one and a half month, so I tip my hat for that ability. Maybe share a bit of it so I have more success with my 99 Firemaking goal? :P Keep up the good work, I wish you the best of luck. :D

You need to update your blog a bit, thwe D Chain pictures are ancient and didn't the person racing you to 85 Slayer get banned? :-s Keep up the good work with Slayer, I feel sorry for you though. The experience is sooo slow, you are getting like 60k exp a day (it depends) and I am averaging 100k an hour. :XD: Keep it up. :)

I hope it is a build up to a skill, something Jagex will release in like a years time. In my opinion Hunter was a bit rushed and never got more updates to add to the variety. I don't want Jagex to do something that makes people whine even more, if they do release another skill I really do hope more time is taken into it. If archaeology does come out, I will be quite keen to get started on it quickly. I used to love digging in my garden to find fossils and stuff in stones. I have a rock on my back garden with an amenite (sp?) imbedded in it. :
