I watched tv earlier today (live in holland), there was really nothing on so I decided to just randomly pick channel. Then something catches my attention, it was a commercial about Runescape, and like I said, in Holland :ohnoes: . They seem to recognize us as a big part of the runescape now. (not that this isn't true..) discuss :-# (couldn't find a clip of it on youtube but if I do i'll post it)

I've often wondered whether like a closely bount amount of smaller communist states/provinces would work, as it would allow for more adaptation and a very close society. (I have no knowledge of these sorts of things so if I sound like a dummy, I am.)

Communism rocks on paper, but the point is that people slack because they get paid anyway, and thus it fails in practice. If the world would get a change in morality and people would become more altruistic, it would work.

Currently I'm listening to yellowcard, because I heard one of their songs in flatout 2 :). They are great and the violin has a nice touch. Plus, he's actually singing and not screaming. Anyone know bands that are much alike with yellowcard?

I was obviously exaggerating, but still, when I played it for like the 4th time, I did the boat map, we were doing 16 v 16, an airstrike came, I got killed 3 times by one airstrike. How is that not overpowered?

Cod 1? great Cod 2? even better Cod 3? meh Cod 4? great singleplayer, multiplayer is plain unbalanced (or too balanced, whatever floats yuor boat). Any moron can get a kill, martydom = killing by dying. Thus overpowered, and very lame, They seriously need to fix it. Also once one of those morons gets 5 kills boom, they get airstrike and miraculously get 5 more kills, only because they died once. Cod 5? haven't played it

Indeed, Call of Duty 4 was an okay game, but the multiplayer is a sad excuse for bad balance (or too good, whatever floats your boat) and bad community. I played the multiplayer, for a month. I had a reasonable kd ratio mostly (like 2:1), but [developmentally delayed]s who did nothing but spraying all around and having martyrdom(!) got the best scores and even got kills because they died :wall: . Anyone with a working mouse can get kills, so someone who has played for a month is just as good as someone who'd dedicate his whole life to it (if you don't count knowledge of the map). Also, every time I got like 4 kills with one clip, I got spammed with 'z0mg hacker pl0x' and 'r0fl a1mbot s4d l0sur!11!11!1' #-o Greeaat multiplayer experience, really :shame: .

Whoop woop for extrovert, down with introvert :twisted: We seem to be kind of alike except for the multiple intelligences :D (well we do have the musical and interpersonal on the same place) This test was better than that other one they had on offtopic a while ago, with the narcissistic and such, the personality disorder test. But it still makes me wonder, I'm one of the few extravert people on tif, and one of the few with no personality disorders (according to the test :mrgreen: ) Weird ;)

No, naps can be prolonged for as much as an hour and a half, you can sleep if with your girlfriend on occassion as a bonus sleep block, which is beneficial. Look, you're a surgeon. I know you guys have it choca, but think of the regular person working 9-5. Can they honestly adjust their body clocks to a pattern like this? It's one way to get fired, I guess. Imagine going out for drinks, and having a nap for an hour in the middle. It would kinda kill the mood. :| This schedule just isn't compatible with how human society organises its working day. That's exactly what I mean. Plus, it would be very rude to have to leave somewhere because you need to get a nap #-o (Imagine being in an emergency situation and missing on your sleep, you'd get very sluggish and such and would not be able to function at the grade yuo need to. Buhbye)

Funorbdoesn't work either and I've already removed java several times. I'm looking to solve the problem, not circumvent it so I'm not gonna try another browser.

The point with this is that it doesn't fit in with an active social life. When you're used to such short naps you can't do anything else, so no sleeping with your girlfriend, no activities that take longer than 3,5 hours (or whatever is the interval for your naps) and much more cons. Ofcourse if you're only interested in productivity this is the way to go.

Since a couple weeks (I think eversince I ran my CCleaner scan) runescape doesn't work for me anymore, and java seems to be the problem, but i've updated it, redownloaded it and all possible things I could think of. Anyone has experience with this?

How would you wake up after 20 minutes without someone roughly shaking you about.. I can go on a week with 2 to 4 hours of sleep per day, although I become a bit more easily bored and get a shorter attention span, it doesn't have that much consequences.. (after a week I get annoyed by every small thing and I'm not a nice person anymore \)
