Alright so after quite a few of my griends have tried to get me to go for it, I figure i might try to sometime. I'm PLANNING on range blue drags and getting blue hides and bones to get 70 prayer and my range to level 86 give or take a level. Has anyone, tried or obtained a fire cape since the recent "diagnol movement from hell update". So.. here are my stats, how good do you think my chances are?

Yes but isn't he trying to get crafting experience? the point is that you're still losing gp, as long as the cost of mats are more than the high alch value. the only good point is that the gp lost is spilt over 2 skills, crafting and magic. But he is not losing gp, 3k hides 4.5M tanning 60k 1k rune essence 85k = 4,645,000 Okay after he makes the natures and alchs he gets 4680000 gp how is that a loss if what his main goal is to get crafting experience not bother about some kind of potential profit, last I checked his goal was to get crafting experience; not money. to me, crafting nats is for the profits.. of turning a p ess (80gp) to a nat (300gp). if thats not your goal in runecrafting, then using this method will earn you a small profit. however if you see runecrafting as a money-making, then you'll be losing money as you wont be able to sell your crafted nats. He's not in it for the profit he's in it for the crafting levels :-#

Okay, if you are picking it them immediately crafting it into bowstrings that is definetly not faster than picking then crafting in Lumbridge. I don't see how the stairs are a problem because you can just right-click them and pick the go-up option compared to clicking it then going up the stairs.
