  1. A) It's a different topic B) Dicussing two things on one thread is very confusing C) There will be more, I'm not done yet.
  2. I just want people to realize that Runescape can take over your life, and it shouldn't. No matter what you do in the game, it will just end up worthless in the end.
  3. Glad you agree. If they aren't on at the same time, what's the matter? Hopefully everyone else gets that point as well.
  4. If they read any forum other than their own they would get a good mouthful of it.
  5. I'm saying it's their fault for not "proofreading" their work. If they didn't mess up and do their homework all the way, the bugs wouldn't be there.
  6. Note this is a different post than my last, this covers something different and deserves it's own post. (it would be a lot to cover all the rules in one post!) =Rule 5 - Jagex Staff Impersonation You should not attempt to impersonate Jagex staff in any way. =Rule 6 - Account Sharing/Trading Each account should only be used by ONE person. =Rule 7 - Macroing You must not use other programs to gain an unfair advantage at the game. =Rule 8 - Multiple Logging-In If you create more than one RuneScape account, they must not interact. Rule 5- I can see why this is wrong, and it should be a rule, but as a note you have to be pretty stupid to fall for a impersonator on RS.... Rule 6- This is really a "don't buy, sell, or give away accounts" rule. Runescape is for fun, not money, so I kind of like this rule Rule 7- I can see why. I don't want someone that didn't work for it to get lots of money. The rule is to make things fair. Rule 8- Questionable. If they aren't on at the same time, why can't you trade between accounts? Why not? What's the harm? All the other rules that I've covered so far are backed with reasoning, but this rule isn't. The part about not having multiple on at the same time is good, but the trading between them just doesn't make sense. Why not? Also, So why have so many been banned because of this??
  7. I didn't mean just you, I meant in general. The stop playing was just a note I added. I'm sorry if you took it as just you I was talking to.
  8. =Rule 1 - Offensive Language You must not use any language used which is offensive, racist or obscene. =Rule 2 - Item Scamming You must not scam or deceive other players. =Rule 3 - Password Scamming Asking for another players password for any reason will not be tolerated. =Rule 4 - Cheating/Bug Abuse Any bugs found within the game must be reported to Jagex immedaitely. Those are the first four rules of Runescape. Rule 1 is ok, you don't want someone filling your chat box with swear words anyway. Rule 2 makes perfect sense, I'm glad they have that rule. Rule 3 is ok I guess. Rule 4. I have a problem with this one. It says you must report all bugs to Jagex. A few questions: -How are you supposed to inforce this rule?!? -How do you know if it's a bug? In the details it says they have this rule because it might: What? If it's your fault for not "proofreading" it why should we be to blame? I don't understand. Can anyone answer my questions? I would love to hear from you in your opinions.
  9. I didn't ask for a flame war. Please stop doing so. If you are not happy when you play Runescape, you need to stop playing.
  10. I posted the winner of my competition already. Incase you missed it here it is again:
  11. The best part of Runescape should be having fun and enjoy playing it and chatting with friends. But sadly this is often not the case. And if don't consider Runescape just a fun thing to do you need to stop playing or start playing a different way.
  12. Today I would like to urge you all to look past where most of these posts go. Consider your life. You are born, you live, you die. Think for a moment. You are born into this world with nothing; no belongings, no money, not even clothing. When you die, you can take nothing from your life, no belongings whatsoever. In this life, no matter how hard you work, you can't ever leave this world with more than what you entered it with. Think about it. A thought starter brought to you by moron8275
  13. I love your thanks. :D And a shorter version: Jagex isn't all bad, they thought of Runescape, made it addicting, and deserve some respect for that.
  14. Jagex is a very intersting company, I have to give them that. Their growth rate is amazing, and I find it great that they came up with a game that appeals to all ages. Often there are many, many complaints about how Jagex is doing (more like how bad they are doing), myself included, but I have to give them a congrads. They found a very smart way to make money. To think, they started with checkers and chess etc (if you've ever played their old games), then come up with such an addicting game. It's amazing I personally think. Considering the fact they only charge 5 US dollars a month, and have tons of people who pay nothing, I'm sure most of them never have to worry about "paying their bills" again. I could be wrong, the leaders might not be that rich, but I think they would be. But, as with every company, they have problems they run into. Some of these aren't open to the public I'm sure, but the one's I can see are the fact that the game is so addicting people are wasting their lives on Runescape. They have so many people emailing them, I'm sure sometimes it feels hopeless. They also have people constantly flaming their work. I must personally say again that Jagex is amazing, even in their faults. If you or I were in charge, it would most likely be even worse. Think about it.
  15. About the umbrella: What does an umbrella have to do with Easter??
  16. moron8275 replied to mixand's topic in General Discussion
That's got to be the luckiest thing I've seen in a long time, doubtless how it got there.
  17. I think we got the point here. Sheesh, two pages weren't needed to get there... LAG. The thing everyone loves to hate.
  18. The simple fact is Jagex put the wild there for that exact reason: PKing. It's much like all the other mini-games in RS, just with less rules and more space. As nearly everyone has said before: "Can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen", or more like "Can't stand the slaughter, get out of the wild."
  19. We just keep coming out with more and more! H1P is the best, and I'm SO there.
  20. The fact is that the membership isn't much. Sixty $ isn't that much for a whole year.
  21. Here's the winner in my competition: A diver! It was a great idea!
  22. Easter: Hmm...I'm sure there aren't many ideas left...but....I'm thinking a new castle wars type thing where you basically throw eggs at each other for a prize. The prize being a pet bunny. Halloween: Again...so many ideas taken....I'd say being able to change your base look for the season to be some creature in game- minus the good things so noobs don't get overboard and get annoying. Then as a permanent thing: pet dragons (can't you tell I want new pets?) Christmas: I think Santa needs to do something...more direct. So far Santa hasn't been super-involved in the Christmas scene. I'm thinking mini-quest involving helping Santa in his sleigh. And everyone who helps will wake up (log in) in their own "player-owned house" decorated for Christmas, including a tree with presents underneath! After a while, the Christmas stuff would disappear, but leaving the house. Other: There should be birthday thing on Runescape's birthday; the in-game thing being "a new year." Celebrations being everywhere. Leaving this one open-ended.
  23. Be quiet. Can't you see he has a great point. It's a game people. That's all it is. Pixels on a screen. Nothing to fret over, nothing to deeply care about, just something fun to do. And to those who don't think its fun and/or are making it not fun: stop playing, go away, we don't want you.
  24. And now the Swedish servers are down. That was fast.
  25. Killing shopkeepers. Lol. So fun I'm sure.
