Well at least the only things I really wanted from SOF (except divine) will be much more common.. Too bad I don't really get on for weekends.. Hopefully Sunday it'll still be here.

I wonder if this is Optimus.
It's just the beginnings. Most bots are online atm, only ones I haven't seen yet are green dragon ones, but it can take time for them to log on. As mentioned, we probably won't see the impact of a large anti-bot update for a month or two.

Hey all,
There will be a system update in approximately one hour's time. This will be to fix some graphical issues, and to relabel and add another Dungeoneering world.

This is the first big step to the FPS fix. Myself as well as many others are now sitting on maxed 50 FPS. If anyone would like to share how happy they are, or comment on how long the fix took, feel free to do so.
Also, please mention whether or not you've noticed a difference in your FPS rates. :thumbup:
The dungeoneering labels are now as follows:
W32 Dungeoneering: Levels 1-80
W77 Dungeoneering: Levels 100-120
W117 Dungeoneering: Levels 80-100
Performance Improvement Update10 hours ago
Today sees the release of a significant performance improvement update to RuneScape which will improve frame rate and the general game play experience, which has been an issue for some players recently.
Performance
As many of you will be aware, some our previous anti-bot initiatives caused an adverse affect on the frame rate and performance of the game. The Game Engine Team has been working very hard on solutions to this and the update should bring significant increases in overall playability for the vast majority of those affected, noticeably more so on lower-spec computers.
Bots
As part of our ongoing effort to combat bots, this update also contains additional adjustments to the engine which will significantly disrupt bots.
Future Updates
These changes are only part of our ongoing efforts to continually improve the performance of the game, as well as to combat bots, and we have further updates in these areas planned for the next few months.
At times we may go a little quiet in these areas - this is because it’s often hard to share details of what we’re working on without giving bot makers information that they can use to their advantage. Rest assured, though, that we understand how these issues affect how you play and enjoy the game, so solving them is of paramount importance to us.

So just to make sure I understand this.. Flipping is now like it once was in a sense.
You can buy X item to its limit, and freely resell it instantaneously. However, you must wait 4hrs before being able to re-buy, rather than the reselling resetting your limit?
So simply there is once again a 4hr wait after a buy limit is reached, and there are no re-sale limits.
Say hello to better margins, more offline flips, and increased cost for items. :thumbup:

Micro-transactions didn't seem far off after the introduction of Loyalty Rewards. Seems that it was an accurate assumption. Jagex today you are more of a piss off than most days..

The videos are enjoyable, 999. I actually like the commentary without a ton of background music. You seem quite relaxed, so it's easier for the viewer to enjoy the pking and understand what you say. I'd say your voice isn't weird. I'm not entirely used to English accents from over the ocean, but it's definitely not strong enough to make me misunderstand what you're saying. Nice job pking, and I hope to see some more commentary vids of this nature. :thumbup:

Feed & water cattle, and any other farm work that needs to be done. When inside, I generally stroll the home quarters in the birthday suit, listen to the music a bit louder, and cook a new recipe. Being home alone is also a nice time to invite the gf over and cure the loneliness as well.

This might actually be the first blog I stick to following. It's really interesting to watch a new player develop within the game, and even more interesting is one with a personality like yours. A new player that can actually speak in a mature manner.. yes I wasn't even sure this was possible.
I especially like reading through your novelizations within each update. They keep me interested in what you have experienced, and just as interested in seeing what you will write next.
If you ever need any in-game help or advice, it's more than likely that I'll be online (during weekdays), and can lend a hand. Best of luck with your goals and ambitions! :thumbup:

I was told by someone (I forget who), that there was a need for experience rates for The Pit. Since I was training agility at the time, I started to jot down my numbers.
The following is what I have collected thus far.
If this information is truly needed, I will continue to collect it whilst I train agility. If it is not, simply lock up this thread, I suppose. Enjoy!

I honestly can understand their reasoning for the update.. I do not understand why it took well over a year to implement it. I collected a number of effigies before quitting early 2011, I return early 2012 and they're just now deciding to implement limits on them.. :thumbdown:

I saw White Partyhat and thought it was cool, and I also liked Jug. I was going to name mine Double Eyepatches, but i read someone already had that idea so I'll be looking for something unlikely to be seen on another troll.
EDIT: Wait, can pets be taken into Wildy? I could see Dragon Bones or Green Dragonhide being epic for bot hunting. :thumbsup:

In my experience a player with a main account decides to make a pure, and because it's not their primary account they often act cocky and rude. However, I don't see this as being true with all pures. Personally, my first account was a pure, which I maxed and then turned into a main. I don't think I was an [wagon], but maybe I was. I do know that there is a definite stereotype for pures. It's just best to prove that you don't fall within it.

I used to get 1.6 Black Masks per hour average (based on the results of roughly 100 Black Mask drops). However, this was with maxed att/str/hp and a Bunyip. It is worth adding that more offensive combat boosts have been released since I've used this moneymaking method, so the rates may be increased for a player with maxed combat.

I posted a topic relating to "Rebooting Runescape (On A Few Servers)" on the Runescape Forums -> New Game Content Suggestions. The thread is derived from the article itself, and if NukeMarine doesn't agree to it being posted I will remove it. The article just inspired me to the extent that I want others to hear the idea, and potentially make it a reality. If anyone is interested, maybe Jagex would better hear opinions on their forums.

In regards to the article "Rebooting RuneScape (On a Few Servers)", I just have to say that I've discussed this idea with friends multiple times when I used to play RS and I still think it would be an amazing experience. I would literally come back to play Runescape if an opportunity such as this arose, because in a nutshell it's the problems that this idea removes that caused me to quit Runescape in the first place. I felt that Jagex wouldn't be able to wrap their heads around the idea, so I just decided I would wait until a new MMORPG was released that I could find interest in. However, maybe it is a possibility now.. I can only dream.

I spin the wheel, but I don't like the wheel. The general reason that I spin it, is so that annoying damn pop-up will disappear and I won't have to close it everytime I change worlds within Runescape. It's more of a nuisance than anything.
