It could have possibly been stopped earlier had they done more user testing prior to release. But what is done is done and they can only implement better risk management strategies to handle/deal with a situation if it ever arises again (and it probably will).
I would have expected Jagex to get a programmer out of bed to fix this major bug. After all it is a business they are running. If they hadn't gotten staff on to fix the problem it would reflect badly on their quality of service.
ok i dont see how it would be my fault is someone ran up to me and killed me.... Huh? Sorry not getting your point. Are you saying the people who were killed deserved to lose their items? or Are you saying that Jagex isn't at fault because they didn't do enough user testing prior to this release. Even though the people who were the biggest losers were paying for a service.
1. He has made gaming history (not in the good sense) But no-one will forget about that day 2. I can't find the video any more. 3. I was on Runescape that day and I vaguely remember some reporting that there was over 1000 people gathered on World 111 up at Edgeville. I guess it was related.
I have this level three clue scroll which is great and I have completed a couple of the stages in it until I hit a clue that would take me to a place where I haven't completed a quest yet (Legends). My question is if you have an uncompleted clue scroll in your bank does that stop you for gaining another one until you complete that one? Also does anyone else break out in a sweat when they have to go into the wildy. I know I get a wee bit nervous. I'm just avoid the wildy where possible.
Who cares, talk about inability of both sides to play nicely in the sandpit. The whole thing is childish, after-all its just a game. Clan wars bore me *yawn*
