I personally think Crafting is more respected then Hunter. Last thing I will say about that.
-
You just fail. Or at least your post does. You so totally don't get the point. Adicolorz, I DECIDED to make a loss, so I had more time. That's my right, I guess? Crafting is not an easy cape, I suggest you try it. I don't mind work. I do mind this skill. If something is expensive, you should be able to do it faster. Like Construction. It's expensive, but it's incredibly fast. Rc'ing is slow, but a big gain. But, Adicolorz. I DON'T get why you call my 99 easy, when you only got Hunter. Now that's an easy skill, and there are much more Hunter Capes then Crafting capes. But ontopic now.

That pretty well sums it up. It has some advantages, like a Dragon as pet but of course 99 required. Yes, we can wait until February. We can wait another month. BUT WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHs :ohnoes: ? I'm getting tired of the waiting, and many other people are. They could just adjust the prices of Spirit Shards, and make bigger Charm drops. No waiting for us, and they made a skill which will actually be used.
-
No. I got 99 Crafting, and tanned 2/3th of the hides by myself. I'm just trying to point out the skill has to be hard and long and cheap OR expensive and fast. Not a combination, because it will be death for this skill.
-
That's the point! You CAN'T powerlevel it! Even when spending 1B on it, you'll still have to collect thousands of Charms! They are untradeable.
-
Oh yes, that's very good! Let's make a skill and work on it for over 2 years! Everyone at Jagex has worked on the skill. Let's release it now! Yay, now 2 people can enjoy it :ohnoes: . And if you want to categorize me, you can do that. I'm neither capitalist or communist. I'm just a person with an opinion.
-
Maybe, and I seriously do not see a reason to make it cheaper, considering the way too high amount of GP generating around Runescape. That's not anymore, alching is quite expensive now, more expensive then just magical Darting. Hmm, let's go from inflation to deflation. "We want to make sure everyone profits from this skill". Hmm, maybe a lvl 60 can train until level 20 or so? So they don't really profit. I guess F2P likes this update very much :D. They can Summon beasts now! Oh wait, they can't. Average people? Pay 100M for just some magic defence boost? No, they don't profit as well. Umm, wait! A few old rich merchants will profit, with a cape no-one else has :D.
-
I read through the whole Summoning skill, and this was the cheapest way I found. Yes, Slayer is hard and long, but this is exactly Slayer (Charms) and 270M+ to train.
-
They say it's just 50% in a DD, just like they said this. Uh-uh, neither cheap or expensive.
-
Please give me a reason then, because I don't see it. Why would you release "the best skill ever" without make sure there's at least one good training monster. Yeah, Februari will give us good training opportunities. Like they tried to give us a Lootshare which actually shares the loot before the trading cap. So we got a skill, and if we want a possibility to train it in a practical way, we need to wait ANOTHER month. First create the skill in 2 (!) years, and then just make sure 90% of the people in Runescape don't train it over 50. And there will be a lot gold out the economy, while the main money incoming is stopped, because of the ridiculous price for Yew Longs.
-
Umm, I can't afford? I got a Red Partyhat + 40M cash, but that has not something to do with this. I just can't stand that I can train Cs 99 for the same money as Summoning lvl 80, and without all the hassle for Charms. And why release a skill when 90% of the Rs population even can't afford lvl 60?
-
I don't always agree with Qeltar, I'm not a complainer at all. The trading updates affected me as everyone else. I DK'ed alot, it's quite impossible to share now. I never said a word about it, I just thought, it's for a good purpose. But I have to complain about a great Skill, which is ruined by this kind of things.
-
Prayer is possible without spending anything at all. If you buy Dragon Bones with the best altar, it will cost you 80M. Smithing as well. And Smithing 99 with buying the ores and selling the products will not even cost 100M, even if you would use the most expensive way, gold bars. Some difference :/?
-
I know how to calculate, and I think I'm experienced enough to know the most secundaries are impossible to get in larger amounts.
-
Even more expensive. This is one of the cheapest ways. And if 270M+ the cheapest way is to train a skill, then it's really scary.
-
First a small quote from DD3: You read it? Ok, remember it. I know this is a bit early, but I already found out Summoning is RIDICULOUSLY hard and costly. With the Granite Crabs, very slow, you'll still have to pay 210M (only Spirit Shards) to reach 99 Summoning. BUT, not only this, you'll also have to get the Charms. The Charms aren't a 100% drop, drop by 1 from most monsters and for the Granite Crabs you will need around 600.000. No, just no. AND, this is just without the mostly hard to get secundary materials, in this example Iron ores (around 100 ea: extra 60M) Calculation: 7 Shards per pouch. You'll need to make 13.000.000/21.6 = +- 602.000 pouches. 602.000 x 7 shards x 50 ea = 210.648.000 If you would use Yak's all the way, not just from 96, I heard you'll need 300.000 Yak's be made. That's 300.000 Charms, and not just the Golden Charms, but Crimson Charms. I got 6 (!) Crimson Charms in 1.5 hour Fire Giants. Maybe you think I'm a complainer, may be. I love Summoning, but this is just.. out of proportions. I think you CAN'T hype a skill for 2 months, releasing teasers and everything. Making thousands of people hope.. and then let 10 people profit from it, because they're rich enough and willing to grind Fire Giants for years. I'm dissapointed. Very dissapointed.

New eggs being introduced for summoning
Behind_you0 replied to Bunker_Boy's topic in General Discussion
For further discussion on the anagrams it's better to use this topic, and yes it's mine and no, this isn't for promotion but to keep clean this topic. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=730813 For the eggs, I have a theory that the birds will be able to 'evolve' to speak in Pok̮̩̉̉monterms. You'll start with the small one, and you'll end up with the Cockatrice. -
The Anagrams translated. I guess they're both solved.
Behind_you0 replied to Behind_you0's topic in General Discussion
After reading your post, I'm quite certain about the two solutions Use a Granite Crab as net! Be gone, Hydra is angry! / Hydra is angry, be gone! I think these 2 are the correct answers for the anagrams. -

Too bad we can't get it confirmed. Someone else knows another solution for the 1th, or 2nd? -

As far as I understood, they just gave a few examples which words could be in it. But you could be right ofcourse :D. Edit: After some thinking, I think you're right. I neglected it as examples, but now you convinced me :XD:. -
Because we need to be quick to solve those anagrams, here we have the info to solve them. And, we went offtopic with them in other topics. Probably the solutions: 1. Use a Granite Crab as net! Instead of having a net to fish, you summon a Granite Crab and it starts to fish the fish for you? I could see it happen, certainly because Jagex stated skillers would benefit as well. Granite Crab is also proven 2. Be gone, Hydra is angry! or Hydra is angry, be gone! I'm 90% sure about this one, it fits perfectly and it makes sense. We got proof a Hydra exists, and we can assume it's quite a dangerous familiar, probably a high level. Both found by me, I want the credits :XD:  . This is what I found at the moment: I'm quite sure about the two familiar names, as they're both confirmed familiars.

As the Granite crab is confirmed and no-one else thought about it, I'll do it. Granite Crab is clearly in the anagram. Then we got the spare letters: usenetasa Wanted to post this, will think of more  .
