  1. Tanking so they can kill give best leveling rate to them. Rangers and mages you can even block for so zero damage to the follower. In terms of keeping them alive I found 1 - ~30-40 is best done on easy then ~30-40+ medium. I've not got there yet but I'm guessing around 70 - 80 region hards become feasible Though all these do rely no your ability to tank the damage You can tank for all, bring a weapon that hits fast say knives... and hit the meleer first such as Talon beast. Aslong as you're witihn melee distance of the NPC (one you're levelling) they opposing monsters will always hit you. Rare case scenario if the monster is locked on the NPC kill it so it's zero risk and leave the ones on you to be killed.
  2. I'll power level now she has ahrims, then it's starting the mediums on both I left them at around level 30 dean is maxed now so on the way back I'm already working on the first med one.
  3. Pazuzu will speed up as soon as you get to 75 for firewave/sol, Dean was very fast to higher levels once you got him to whip/bandos (he's the fastest to level though) :P The slowest overall to level is Smiddi Ryak. Also when you unlock the max ability for your hero eg whip. you get a hint of what the path will lead to ;)
  4. Ah for me I only have 1 set and I've done it several times and haven't got a set yet (I don't want one either) :P
  5. New Magic trees (Source Coduron HLF) ^ Spoke to chris briefly you can no longer get multiple pieces. Yeah, I just got a Lumberjack event but no clothing was dropped. Ermm I just got a trousers drop. All I did was drop my last two pairs of them on the floor before i killed any lumberjacks. Yes but he means he has a full set so he can't get duplicates eg he can't obtain a second set, same with me.
  6. ^ Spoke to chris briefly you can no longer get multiple pieces.
  7. Easier to tank for the npcs to let them level its what i've started to do ;)
  8. Going to live stream some temple trekking for those too lazy to go ;) http://www.own3d.tv/live/102018
  9. Account creation date doesn't give you any advantage, look at veteran cape. Unspam a Nex video I started work on a while ago but never really got back into finishing it off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FrBIAtsaBs
  10. thing is their teams average 11 mins while trying to get 9 min maps, not getting a lucky map that coulda been 8 mins w/ a hero team and doing it in 11 min 50 seconds no, the fastest bullseyes team has ever done a warp is also 11 minutes, and this couldnt have been completed more than 30 seconds faster, since we all were suiciding averagin 11 minutes on f15s inst hard, but id like to see bullseye average 11 minute warps, seeing as thats the fastest hes ever done one himself wat.. hes had like 20 10 min warps just 0 <10 even i was w/ him for a 10 min 50 second warp L he's not gonna upload the same floor time 20x i wish hed have uploaded that sub 10 occ he did, but i still cant wait to see the first ever sub 10 warp, weather its him, or me and these guys with a real lucky floor You can hardly say that "oh theirs is a lucky layout", if they had the same layout as you did an exact duplicate of that 11:50 what's to say theirs wouldn't be 2 minutes faster? there skills are superior as they are far more experienced. It's very easy to make excuses, there may be a time where you match their times but the sad truth is it would have been done before. Honestly I have a list of around 8 Dgers I would take in a permanent team, those 5 in that occult are all in there plus Kennny, Hammy and Mz_Scorpio those to me are the true legends on Dungeoneering and everybody else trys to emulate them. Nice pissing contest we have here. Keyers seem to only screeny good times, it's easy to be smug and disrespectful based off a few good floors, I watch videos from every dging clan when I'm bored famous or not, recruits or newcomers.. 45 minute 148 floor once when I was that bored. It's very easy to get excited over a new personal best and jump the gun, credit is due congratulations on your full 13% warped floor and a personal best for you. There is still much to learn, everybody does including myself. Some point you have to realise things will have been done before and even the people in 117 right now will one day be better than you or me. Kandy congrats on your Hex

  12. I think lootshares more like a pie-chart in the way it effects drop (a little bit like wheel of fortune wheel) eg; Player A with 75M lsp, Player B with 5M, Player C with 20M. Player A will have a chance of 75% of drops, but still player C will have a 20% chance of getting them, so basically if you have a lot of LSP in a mass it may roll onto the lower end LSP portion but there's still quite a high chance. That's just my theory.
  13. More likely to get sniped at a mass than anywhere else, or so it seems from personal experience... plus how did he snipe if he got the charms too? you probably over-estimated your lsp .
  14. Finally got my binds back after months of seeing edimmus and rarely gazers, 5 gazers in 2 days and 1 after the floor I got my hex. (Hex ironically was the only thing on the drop pile, safe to say it was top for me the last one wasn't). I lost my last hex due to world crash 1M xp after I got it and 66M Suicide and some 0-prestiging later I got it. Last night I broke my gate for a BP-DE (Lycopus seed loot woop) Today I had gated north west to run a path with 2 friends, and 2 leechers and basically we do our own section of the map and help out other when we have nothing to do it's usually 20 minute trio floor with 2 leeches 5:5, I had 0 prayer and 30 lp entering room with gazer and of course I died, running back an getting hex and breaking my gaunts for hex. Final binds, I see around 3-4 edimmus a day. Todays troll 1 way map (notice barrels 1 way start in the north-east corner) And Hi (no red dot because it was picked up I had right click option still on)
  15. How long until the hype dies down? 5 minutes?
  16. I'll let it die naturally if that's the case either way this weeks scheduled update is for cryptic clues (which are already in the game) and do not require a game update :\

  18. A battleaxe for keying? oh boy. Tank ring says hello You're doing it wrong.
  19. Enter "Jagex.com" on http://wayback.archive.org/web/
  20. A battleaxe for keying? oh boy. I really don't see why item binds are needed, I would welcome an extra ammo-bind. I actually suggested a few rewards on the HLF a while ago let me dig that up. * Sculptor (10k tokens) - Start with a chisel! * Swiss Army Knife (50k tokens) - Start with a toolkit! * Savour the Flavour (30k tokens) - food heals 2% more * Avenge me (50k tokens) - wrath deals 10% more damage * Charmed I'm sure (20k tokens) - change of making double scrolls when converting pouches to scrolls. * Bless you (80k tokens) - an extra recharge at altars * Mother Nature (70k tokens) - stronger chance of receiving useful herbs from chests * Thok it to 'em (80k tokens) - 1% chance of healing you for 100 life points upon killing a monster * Totem of Appreciation (25k tokens) - immune to poison in Daemonheim. * Gunnar Need a bigger gun! (100k tokens) - Increase ammo bind to 250 * Grenade! (500k tokens) - unlock an additional ammo-slot. * Humidify (15k tokens) - no longer need water-filled vial to make unfinished potions. In-short not overpowered but convenience rewards to help with general gameplay.

  22. if anything quests should unlock the ability to purchase rewards from the shop. Extra item binds? no.
  23. Can't remember the last time I went over 20 minutes
  24. I was in the Zybez ventrilo out of boredom yesterday, around about 12 people in a channel 10 of those were talking about what bot they use.. naming bot sites, why those bots are good to their friends suggesting scripts they should use, new players and some really experienced who had gotten 99s with them. I just think the state of play is a joke now, people openly talk about it in a public chat I didn't speak back because I was just in there to see what people talked about RuneScape-wise now.
  25. I have never asked anybody how they do things because it is down to experience and you learn from your own floors and experiences, I've said there are people like Bu11 who know mostly when things are going to dead end to move it it's map awareness and it's also heaps of experience and keying mainly, and yes in that 11 minute warped those are 5 of the best dungeoneers, there are some other in their category who could perhaps manage that but those 5 are excellent. I was curious into how long a path can lead, and in what set patterns they do it which I have a generic idea I would have liked to look into but I really can't be bothered at times. I think there's of course data and all the research you can hope to manage, but that can only take you so far. Let's say you study for 5 years and you do very well in that subject, you go out into the real-world and you can't apply that knowledge... DPS and things can only take you so far it's a good start but then there's the tips and tricks you have to learn within floors. I know part of the mentality here is not to encourage a certain style of dungeoneering IE suiciding, but there is a skill and definitely I don't see why it's frowned upon although it is. I for instance in DGS have been told I am only good because either A) I suicide or B) because I'm maxed... and that is the reason I actually stopped dungeoneering because I get approached and asked for help with things, and then the other side which is sort of dungeoneering politics is that you can be asked for help one minute and the next a total contrast of that. I think there's a lot of things that people choose to ignore it's either good or bad but if people aren't willing to experiment for themselves and find what works for themselves it's hard to learn, like people who only gate one door, or refuse to use the map. I came in here and tryed to promote smarter ways like map reading and even if I did teach it to only a few it will have at some point filtered down to quite a few of you which has improved your averages. Another point I have to bring up is everytime I'm in the CC people are always slating places like 3BO but you have to realise if you limit yourselves to one clan you are never going to further your knowledge, for example if I grow up in a completely different culture from you my lifestyle and prioritising will be differrent from you, same with clans like DGS and 3BO it's two different styles, we have an elitist conception of platebeards and lots of bad assocations with armour but there is also some very good dungeoneers you can learn from that maybe some of your skills can get honed to and your connections with tiers of dungeoneers that can help in the long run. That is all.
