Finally someone who understands.. These theories are wrong 99% of the time. Random events are random. Period. This is not entirely true. Yes, the events are random, but when you preform an action, you have a small chance of getting a random event. Some activities, such as fletching, allow you to preform many actions quickly, thus increasing your chances of getting a random event.

Hello fellow Tip.iters, today, I want you to imagine, a world where you cannot talk to anyone. No shouting "buying all coal" no advertizing runes for sale. You can only sell things to Npcs, you can only buy from npcs. This is what I went through, untill I turned 15, my mom didn't let me talk to anyone in runescape. I'm not asking for sympathy, I just wanted people to imagine how hard it is to do anything without talking to someone else. Challenge:Come up with 5 viable money making ideas that don't require talking to people!

Ummm.... Whenever you log in, at the top of the screen, it says what IP you last logged in from, I'd say that means that they know :P

I just got level 70 mining, and I'm trying out addy mining. Is it better for money than coal? Which is better, world hopping at dwarven mines, or going to the hobgoblin mine? I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. EDIT:about 2 seconds after i posted this, i realized that this is general, not help :P Can someone move this?

Ok, today I've been trying out merchanting, I world hop to random worlds, sit there saying "Cyan:buying all coal 160 each--bionisam" then after I don't get any trades for a while I switch worlds. Like this, I get a profit of 20k for every 1,000 coal I move (Buy + Sell). so far, playing for about 2 hours today, I've gotten about 5k coal, a profit of 100k. Anything I'm doing wrong or could do better?

What do I need to do to merchant? I haven't had much experience merchanting...

So, you mean sit on w1 in fally and wait for unusually low sellers? Or just cut yews and sell. What's the going price for yews these days? Are steel bars a viable option? EDIT: also, how much are santas? :oops:

I'm trying to get a rare before they skyrocket anymore than they already have. I'm thinking I'll try to get a santa. I'm F2P, my skills and bank are below. My combat level is 75. Any advice?
