Check out http://www.ocforums.com if you need some serious help. Their really geeky over there (I mean this in a good way) I don't think you need water cooling... Running a thermalright xp-120 (Around $60 I believe), and a decent fan (another $15-20) can get very similar performances to a $200 (basic) watercooling setup. Water cooling is also a lot of work... Cleaning your radiator, getting all the air out of the line, etc. With a 3.0E and an xp-120 (with a decent fan) you should be able to get 3.6 stable without a doubt, possibly up to 3.8 if your lucky :) Good luck with your overclocking adventure :P
Dang.,.. I thought my 156 minute game of Big Team Battle on the big construction site thingy (I forget the name ) was long... I guess I've been beaten :( I haven't played Halo 2 in months... I'll have to boot up my xbox tomorrow :P
My friend found this and showed it to me, and I found the concept quite intresting. http://www.flickr.com/photos/w00kie/723 ... et-180637/ I have a feeling it's an April fools joke, but the idea of having a transparent screen intrigues me. It would be intresting to see if this was possible (we would have to put a few cameras on the back of the screen, I'm assumming). What are your opinions on this?
I'm sure google has many petrabytes of space  I'm trying to figure out something... My friend told me you can use gmail as a sort of "external hard-drive". When you have a 12gb hard drive, this may be useful  If anybody knows how to do that, let me know
honestly, I don't think I could spend a full 24 hours with my parents... Therefore, I'm not homeschooled :P I'm glad you like it, I've never known anybody with homeschooling experience. It would be intresting to try, but I'll have to agree with Peter, high school is a critical part of a teenagers development.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but we already have a clan. It is a little dead, but I'm sure we could bring it back into action. Run a quick search for "The tip.it halo 2 clan" and you should find the old post.
Off-topic: You have the best sig I've ever seen  I'm a skiier, and I didn't think anybody could make a skiing sig that good. What kind of skis do you ride on? Erm anyways, about the pics: Good job it's nice to see some photos, we don't get much of em here :)
Alright, here's my CC: The moon (Actually a sun, but whatever :P) is a little too strong. The brightness is too much of a contrast to the rest of the piece. Try and get it to be a little more consistant, or flow better. Other than that, I don't think there is much you can do to improve it (other than getting a new video card to stop the artifacting :P). Good work, 9/10 :)
I can imagine what you'll be making in a month or two from now, when you have the full version and some practice with it... *invisions* Good luck Nad, I see a bright future with you and the new program :P
I've tried WorldMachine, I read like 3 tutorials and couldn't figure it out  Just using terragen to make my terrains... I couldn't make the sun any whiter, I tried for like 45 minutes :P
Well, I really want it to have a unique-ness to it... I haven't seen any with animated stars... Maybe like 4 frames (just not 2, that would look too choppy)?
