Not sure where to post, so I posted here. Does anyone have the same issue as me where abilities are slow/unresponsive? I always need to press my ability key 2-3 times before it actually does something. Also when you move your character it has this delay on it, which is extremely annoying when you come back from a game where everything is fluid and instant. My average ping is around 22-23ms.

Hello, It's been a very long time since I played RS and I recently returned for a while. Now.. a LOT has changed it's insane.. Full screen had just been released when I quit, meanwhile almost the whole game has been remade apparently which is a good thing ^^. I'm quite confused though, I've no clue where to start or what to do, I enjoyed doing slayer assignments a lot but I would like to explore the new world ^^ Any tips/advice on what I should definitely do? These are my stats: http://runetrack.com/sigs/stat/ice/pose/0/Evilmagister.png I have the full ranger void set with rune crossbow/broad-tipped bolts, and have approximately 2mill at my disposition. I'm looking mainly at improving my stats and gear and having fun on the way. Thanks in advance (Leaving for a long time has its advantages, my saradomin page is now worth 1,1mill compared to 40k before :P)

So finally after 5 days of endless boring grinding I finally got my full void *yeay*, but now i was thinking what shield should I use? Someone told me the obsidian shield is pretty good def, but I saw it gives -8 range. Right now i'm using anti-dragon shield. What do you guys think I should use?

The hosts file is located here: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc The host file has no extension so you'll have to right click it and choose open with notepad[Caution: Executable File] (located in windows folder) Once you've opened it check if any of the IP in there are those of runescape. But normally if runescape is in there you can't access the website either. Basically when you put an IP down there you block it from accessing your computer thus showing Page unavailable. A normal host file should contain this: and this only, of course make sure that if there's other stuff written there not to mindlessy delete it if it has nothing to do with runescape. But I highly doubt that has anything to do with it as you can access the website, but never hurts to check. :thumbsup:

Probably still blocked on your router. Go to Start -> run -> type 'cmd' -> type 'ipconfig' Note the default gateway adress (mostly 192.168.1.1) Go to your browser and type in the gateway adress in the website adress bar. Here you should come to your router login system, find your password and login. (If you have not idea at all try the default password) Here's a list of default passwords: http://www.routerpasswords.com/ Once you're in, just find the firewall part and delete the port block ^^ (Just search for something that blocks Runescape ports) or open it up if all ports are blocked. PS: DON'T DO THIS IS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING

I think we should all use WTB (want to buy), WTS (want to sell), WTT (want to trade) would make it much easier ^^ Anyway back on topic, Runescape is a grammatical hell, don't let it bother you and just ignore the blatant spelling mistakes, I gave up on correcting noobs for a long time now, they don't appreciate it in any way and will just curse at you... :|

I agree with the fact Mod Mat did a good thing acting professionally after that blatant mistake but i would AT LEAST expect some sort of compensation for having lost my 350mill, why do the customers have to suffer from company errors? It's like buying a biscuit, then you notice you have AIDS because of the biscuit and the company tells you to *bleep* off. Ok it's nowhere as bad as that but I'd feel pretty enraged, of course it's only e-money but still, you put a lot of time and effort into this, what a way to see it gone to waste :thumbdown: I hope they gave him something behind the scene because this is plain unfair, I don't blame Mod Mat, I blame the dude that made that stupid Jagex Policy rule.

Good luck achieving that when I got 50 Pitbulls hitting your ship. And 25 railgun Mammoths driving toward your base. Psht an Ion Cannon'll take care of that. :P The trick is to suicide your own infantry and make them run through portal, while being hit by the mothership, just before they die, so they all end up dying in the enemy camp and chain kill the hell out of your enemy, no time to say 'wtf just happened'. Good times XD Hahhah who uses a mothership to attack infantry!? You'll understand it now :lol:

OMG, the balls! :shame: Final Fantasy should NEVER be stopped as long they keep going the way they are, if the quality of the game start degrading then I might agree with you, but the way it's looking now (FF13) I wouldn't miss it for the world.

To be honest, it's not my cup of tea. The wait time will fix themselves over time, but runescape just isn't a strategy game, but I like how they at least tried. If I wanna play C&C I'll go play C&C :P One thing though that REALLY pisses me off is people shouting OMG IT SUCKS!!!ONEON11!! without even trying it :x I mean they put a lot of effort into making it, you could at least TRY before complaining. But then again you can't 'fix' the player-base.

You're TOTALLY missing the point, I'm ranting about the fact people call you a noob based on your level without even knowing you. Most people go like: you're lower level than me thus you're a noob. It's like a barrier where there's the 'elite' which feel too great to talk to you and the others ... like you said snobs. Granted there's a lot of noobs who just live to annoy you, but they got to understand there's still nice people besides high levels :

I'm doing my slayer quest but as always i get pretty bored so i start chatting to my fellow players doing the same task. The high lvl just plain ignores me like I didn't exist, I ask him why he ignores me. After a while he answer: You're low level, I don't talk to noobs. Now would someone please tell me why they feel so superior :? All I want is a nice chatting so I don't get bored and I just get plain ignored because of my level -.-

The harpy bug swarm tend to drop Lv2 scrolls pretty often and have 25hp :D You need 33 slayer and a lit lantern though.
