Behind the Scenes - February
If you're going to be like that, you're going to need to split up that cape half a dozen different ways tbh. If I have maxed mage and def, can I get the stats of a god cape and a skillcape? If I get 99 range, can I add the stats and bonus of the alerter to it? I'm a quest person. Suppose I've beaten all quests and diaries. Can I have a cape that combines Ardy 4 cape with the bonesack and add the spirit cape to it since I've dg'ed a bunch? What about skill pures? Suppose a lvl 3 has 99 in all stats that don't raise combat. And maybe slayer. Does he get a special cape for that? Last I checked, there are far more skills that aren't directly related to combat (level) then directly related to combat. Combat has Att, Str, Def, Range, Mage, HP, Prayer, Summon. This lvl 3 has, in no particular order, 99 RC, Agil, Mining&Smithing, Cooking&Fishing, Hunting, Thieving, Construction, Farming, FIremaking, Crafting, etc... what special cape does he get? In fact, quite frankly, the best combat cape is much better as a cape rewarded for a difficult boss fight (like the fire cape around the time it came out, as opposed to now, or hell the new fire cape which this topic is mostly about) rather then something achieved by pure grinding. Look at Cyrius - an NPC that (according to story) got lvl 99 in all combat skills despite fighting nothing more dangerous then a lvl 2 rat. This new Fire Cape fits the bill. If the comp cape gets those stats added to it - well, that means that you've completed the new fight caves and done all the completionist crap. So you get a better reward that happens to have better combat stats. You know what? The infinity + 1 sword really isn't that much better then the infinity - 1 sword! Really, people obsess over any item that has the best stats despite the fact that, quite often, the difference between it and the next best thing is virtually non-existant. Tell me, if you were to get a cape with the stats of the completionist cape right now, what would you be able to do that you can't already do? Or what would you be able to do significantly easier? The answer to the first question is nothing. (Well, assuming maxed combat stats and that you have access to every other piece of good equipment in the game, except maybe Nex drops.) The answer to the second question is probably nothing as well. Although small boosts can, over the long run, save you a few hours training, in terms of a few fights with a very tough monster or opponent, luck usually matters more then small stat boosts. Oh, on a FINAL note, at least 75% of the things the comp cape gives are only really useful in combat. The only non-combat abilities it gives is Ardy 4 combined with the bonesack and the emote. Maybe the spirit cape part, but that can go either way. Perhaps if the comp cape actually had a wide variety of things that were useful to skillers, and skilling being useful in the first place...

I'm sick of randoms
gravedigger because they would need to give an other way to get those clothes. Also you guys seem to forget that most of f2p loves those random events :P Then make random events FTP only. That's just unreasonable. For one thing, what of members who want the costumes? Remove the maze, no one likes it. Streamline the grave digger and mime random, or remove them entirely and offer a new way for the clothes. Tis a better idea then F2P only randoms.

I'm sick of randoms
This and the maze. The mime is unnecessarily long and you lose out on being able to chat and such. Gravedigger used to annoy me until I realized how fast it can actually be done. Now it's less annoying. Maze is too long and not rewarding. Maze > Mime > Gravedigger as the worst 3 randoms imo.

Corp is easy.... Extremely little risk and there is barely much skill involved. What if I told you: -Nomad took me 21 tries to complete at maxed melees -I've never lasted longer than 2 kills on a Glacor trip -I died at Zammy GWD because I forgot I had an anti poison in my inventory Then usuck. You obviously don't have the "pro asian gamer" gene in you =/ *points to max cape* @@@ ^^ This. As for spiral knights, I don't know what that game is, so I have no opinion on it. Judging by and by RS alone, you aren't a pro gamer and are more of a grinder. -shrugs- Although I seem to be a bit better at RS boss fights, but I'm still more of an RPG grinder myself.

Fight Caves - Magic
Heh. No. Honestly, depending on other gear, Zammy book can be better then mages book. Course, it's also uber expensive these days... Honestly tho, I'd say get a minimum of 10 prayer, preferably 15. Also, Arcane Stream is the best necklace to get (for mage) so if you can, get one.

Google has a safe search filter for a reason. I searched Kim Possible, Kim Possible and Ron, and Shego. This is the only semi-bad image I found. A tad on the revealing side, considering these are characters from a show aimed at prepubescent kids, but still. If you don't want to ruin your pants or your childhood, keep this filter on. EDIT: on slightly closer inspection, I found some other bad ones... still. Google has an image filter for a reason and it usually works. Although, might be safe to keep it set to maximum for kim possible searches.

I hates you. I spend weeks of not doing anything on RS but maintaining my kingdom (granted, that was an hours work, tops) to get 13m, then bam, you get a 7m drop*. *Close enough. Also, this thread always makes me think of home: http://forum.tip.it/topic/307035-guide-to-super-effective-polypore-staff-pking/page__pid__5160804#entry5160804

the price of chins...
If he encouraged him to try skilling, and skilling is less efficient, then he encouraged him to be less efficient. Hell, I could draw up a logic-based truth table or a derivation to prove it. As for suggesting something. When you offer a suggestion to someone it does not necessarily mean you encourage or support the use of that suggestion, it means that you see nothing wrong with the use of that option. Therefore, when you offer less efficient methods, you agree (or SHOULD agree) that the use of less efficient methods is perfectly acceptable. (I guess this would depend on your definition of encourage.) On the other hand, ltk and hedgehog appear to have nothing against the use of crystal meth  //sarcasm Quite frankly, I see one person losing an argument because it is an un-sound argument, and other people saying stupid and ridiculous things.

87 - 95 magic
Few things about Rock Lobs: Magic Damge boost only affects the primary monster you are targeting. This means that the arcane stream is possibly going to be a detriment, as they will die at a different rate, and therefore some of the monsters might respawn and attack you before you're done the group you're killing. FoG really seems worth it, at least in terms of efficiency. If you are terrible at FoG, I suggest playing FoG in F2P in green d'hide, maple bow and addy arrows. Last I checked, you rarely lost in F2P because over half the people there are low level mages in it for free mage exp and F2P players tend to be lower level then P2P players. (Keep in mind this information is very dated and I don't know if it's still accurate.) Also, I like FoG because it's an excuse to use ancient (read: ice) magic for free. This is just me of course.
