i also recently got a mute and marks due to something stupid bs. tbh i didn't even read the message from them because i knew it was bs. the only thing that i can think of that i did wrong was say, " i ate ur mom" after someone said, " i ate pie." but w/e also my previous mute was a typo that came out "jew", which was not what i intended. but w/e i thought jagex was trying to steer away from the whole "RS is for kids and we have to protect the little kiddies" idea.

oh yes. of course. now i see the problem. if helmets were kept on death instead of other items, the price of the helm will drastically fall. this fall will wreck havoc on the economy and lead to the explosion of runescape. with runescape gone, Obama will have enough power to conquer the world and become emperor of the human race. praise guthix that runescape is a perfect game and accidents like that will never happen. how could i have been so blind?

folks remember that the alching value is a number made up by jagex. it does not necessarily reflect the item(s) true value. refer to my previous post about the real world English definition of "valuable". in this case, the items were acquired at a price different than the alching price. so therefore, the most valubale items were those that had the highest price. it does not matter why the price is what it is, there is no storyline attached to an item when you buy it from another person (/GE). lets look at another example, a real world one. you go to the local walmart to buy an xbox. the clerk (player) there demands that you pay 700 bucks for it. you know this is stupid because the retail price (alching) is 300 bucks. but you go ahead and pay the 700 bucks. the xbox is now more valuable than the 300 bucks because you gave up 700 for it. if you die and loose the xbox instead of the playstation ( which you paid 400 for at walmart), wouldn't you be upset? after all, the xbox was more valuable to you. 300 bucks more valuable to be exact, even thought the retail (alch) prices are different.

It would cause an economic crash. For members there is an armor set thats pretty cheap not including the helmet. The helmet is about 80% of the cost of the WHOLE set. This is because when you die you lose the helmet. If you kept the helmet when you die its price would fall (alot) and the price of what ever you do lose would jump up alot. RESULTING IN AN ECONOMIC CRASH hmmm then by that logic. the price of the plate legs will go up? because they become the item lost, not the helm. the helm will crash and the legs will skyrocket. all balances out doesnt it? so what is the problem here? it is a 4 item set, you only get to keep 3 if u die. so who cares which piece it is???? it should be the cheapest one. plz refer to my previous posts about determining "3 most valuable items" and how the 3 items should be chosen.

yes it is stupid that u lost ur helm. ever since the ge was released i thought the keep on death stuff should reflect the prices on the ge. the real price is after all what you paid for it. the alch prices is just a value that was made up by jagex, while the ge prices are set by the community. what i mean by that is the ge value should be consider the "real" value because that is the value everyone agrees on. its not just some random number jagex pulled outta their cornhole.

actually i dont mind converstaions. and i do prefer conversing instead of dead silence when training. but i get bored of having to do the same conversation over and over and over again with a different person each time. for example: try asking me about football? thats much more interesting than my level. or maybe ask me what my car is, or what i plan on doing during spring break?

hehe i need to update my sig its like 2-3 yrs old lol. if i wanted to start a converstaion with someone i would at least think of something more original/important than "lvl?" its has just become so common that its become annoying. maybe try something like: how bout them cowboys? or, im hungry, or how long ahve u been on ?

this is by far the most annoying thing within the game community right now. so when a random person walks up to you and says hello!, then almost 96.4% of the time the next thing that comes outta their mouth is "wuts ur lvl?" . heres my thoughts on that. 1) why the heck should you even care. 2) maybe i dont want to tell you 3) stop interrupting what i am working on 4) isnt there something more important you can come up with? 5) and no i dont care what youre level is. 6) and for the love of guthix dont keep asking me! really it gets so stupid and annoying after the first 2 or 3 people ask you. i think it needs to stop.

thanks for summarizing he 05 event into 9 steps. i hope you dont mind if i expand on it. making the puppets was sweet. you had to get all the various parts of the puppets from boxes and assemble the parts into one puppet, then you could paint it whatever color you wanted. after you had completed a few you put them in a present box. and made a few more boxes full of puppets.after that you walked to the travely gate and gave them to stranger. aside from the toys, you could choose your favorite ornament decoration style and paint it how you saw fit. then when you had all the decorations you wanted, you went to varrock and decorated the tree with them. much more freedom and content than xmas 08. now on the story, lets see if i could come up with something more interesting than Emo Jack Frost. " Roald puts up flyers in varrock advertising the need for a GE Santa. so you apply for the job and get it. (santa outfit provided if you dont have one) you go to the GE and sit in your santa throne. little RS kids then sit on ur lap and ask for toys. you write these toys down on a list. and then you pose for GE elves to paint a portrait of the kid and you. after you get the list of, lets say 10 toys. you head over to diagno to get them. only to discover that diango has been knock out! omg! penguins feathers litter the draynor market place and you suspect the KGP had something to do with it! those penguins!!!." ok someone else finish the story plz im getting tired of typing.

has anyone realized yet how much of an Epic Fail this event is?? lets take a minute to review: 1) go to event start point 2)talk to imp 3)put on ammy 4)summon imp 5)talk to imp 6)locate jack 7)talk to jack 8)run over jack 9) recieve santa suit wow, that is really not up to the standards of an holiday event. and in my opinion the worst one that we've had since xmas of 04. 9 steps, thats it. remeber xmas of 05 with Diango's little helpers? heck, even this years haloween event was almost as epic as xmas 05. i am very dissapointed at jagex for even thinking that this event was going to suit. for that i give several frowny faces. :cry: :cry: :cry: . i hope they dont "cabbage!" up easter as bad as they did xmas 08.
