  1. If you can't make any money off your pizzas I think its time to drop the "If its not there in half an hour its free" offer. Or hirer better delivery drivers Seriously I started training with pies and stews (I had a load of pie dishes and bowls left over from some early crafting training), but then It occured to me all this bother so I started concentrating on fish and only making new foods as they became avaliable, now I just catch and cook fish While the fancy food is nice to make once or twice and a redberry pie in the right place can make a pretty penny. I keep coming back and using the fish. THe other problem I have with complex food is I eat half the ingredients by mistake while trying to make them, usually the ingredient furthest away from the point I'm currently at.
  2. There seems to be something in it. The last question was to test see if the server update was a coincidence or not. given your reasonable sample size and your bettter than average results there is either something in it or you dude are one lucky S.o.B. I'll admit I was a bit sceptical but you appear to have found something here.
  3. A few questions. 1) How many times have you tried this? 2) How many times has it worked? 3) Has anybody else noticed this? 4) Has anyone got this result without the server update?
  4. In my humble opinion it would of been fairer to say "from now all newly mined essence is pure/impure and all previously mined essence is pure. Members and non members would be able to use pure essence. This way nobody would of been caught out by sudden price drops. A warning would of caused the essence market to be flooded and would of killed the price.
  5. If you are carrying out a skill that involves the strength bonus would you get XP in strength? I see this as a logical progression but can anticipate objections from the combat only and skill pure brigade since it would rob each of them of an advatange. The Combat only brigade would not have such a big strength advantage and the skill pure would be forced to gain combat levels. This is one of the reasons i think that this wouldn't be including in this generation of runescape. That being said I am infavor of the skill related parts of this idea. Speeding up punches I don't think since speed and strength don't automatically connect and the increase in attack fromt he strength is already there. wrestling also not a great idea could possibly be used in a mini game but not without a lot of work around the edges. Breaking stuff, maybe a above a certain hit, say you hit somebody in a particular type of armour for a high enough hit, then that gives a very small chance of damaging the armour. Damaged armour would have to be easily fixed and only a minor handycap
  6. They could become reliant on him, but is it any worse than them becoming reliant on begging. I think of this like an extension of the tutorial and it would have to be set up in a way that it forced them to learn how to use their skills to make money. I don't know how useful the guide is since I never used him, I used my own wits to make money. There will be a load of people who don't use him but could use his help. This idea would be more proactive. Thank you for your input
  7. A lot of people seem to make suggestions of ways to make the game easier for new players, which seems to mainly consist of giving them money or personal advice. The first is often unproductive since it can make the person lazy. The second is hard due to the limited amount of people can be reached this way. The lumbridge guide does give some advice but the player has to seek him out. What I am suggesting is an NPC in the courtyard. This NPC would be more proactive and should shout things like "jobs for low leveled players" (maybe something more snappy than that). When spoken to he could give some spiel about the Duke of Lumbridge trying to reduce the number of beggers in his duchey creating a jobcentre. He would be able to give out a few jobs and the player would be able to choose between them. Example of jobs could be, "go to draynor village and fish me 10 shrimp" "go up to Varrock and mine 14 copper and 14 tin and forge me 14 bars of Bronze" "Cut 10 trees for logs" The NPC would give the player any tools they lacked for the job, so if they had lost their pickaxe then he would give them a bronze pickaxe to keep, these tools are hidden around the castle as free respawns anyway. The NPC would only accept goods if they have been produced by the player themselves. If you completed certain jobs you would unlock others, e.g. once you had sold him the bronze a job would unlock to smith weaponry out of bronze. Each job would pay a fair price and the NPC would tell the player which shops will buy the products and give rought directions after the job has been finished. Also they NPC would spout out useful advice about things like how to look for jobs from players and good merchanting practice. The player would hopefully gain a bit of experience in using their skills to make money. Each job would be avaliable to every player once and the jobcentre would not pay more than selling at the shops in towns. They would also be totally optional if a player decided he did not want to take these jobs. All constructive critism and suggestions are welcome especially as to ideas with details
  8. So you are infact a scammer yourself as you admit in the first suggestion. Leet man has the best advice, coupled with report them
  9. well it is camo,, you're supposed not to be able to se it seriously i think that its a bug with the armour updte and will be fixed not too long
  10. Tropical refers the property of being between the two tropics, the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn in the northern and southern hemispheres respectivly. This technically covers everything in the region from the sandy deserts of africa and the americas to the lush humid areas to the mountains of south america. (of course this pedantry is pointless if you are using the K̮̦̉̉ppen climate classification definition of tropical which only describes the non arid areas) Desert refers to an area which recieves minial rainfall in in a year so a desert doesn't have to be hot, areas of siberia are desert as is the south pole.
