As you may be wondering... I've stopped coming on since Thursday, and the reason, when you think about it, is quite obvious. I got a Wii. Thats the first point, but does it deliver? The answer is yes. I went along to my local Tesco extra for the midnight launch, as they were not taking pre-orders. We queued up for 4 hours to get hold of one, and it was worth it. Got a copy of Zelda and Wii play, and went off home for the first play. No bugs whatsoever, easy set up, and within a few hours the next day i had both my mum and my housemate on Wii play blasting targets with the remote. As for Runescape, i probably won't be on too much, maybe to check out updates and whatnot for a few weeks. I still haven't forgotten about my house building goal.

Uhh... last time i checked, i didn't buy my console to use powerpoint on it.

Got another clue scroll, and the reward was one pair of saradomin chaps! EDIT: sold them for 300k on the street. Thats a big boost.

After killing jellies for one and a half days, i got sick of them, so i went to the H.A.M camp to pickpocket a scroll. Second pickpocket in, i get one. EDIT: that clue reward wasn't worth the teleports i used...

Tonight, i managed to score a grand total of 0 clue scrolls. I give thanks to the new clues rush for this wonderful achivement.

I dunno... i think the sets are only four peices, so i hope they are actually stronger than Dragon. Still, has anybody thought about the croziers and stoles yet? I'm going to look into it right now. EDIT: looked it up, a crozier is a sort of staff, whereas a stole is a scarf of some kind.

Actually, the rewards are specific to new clues. I'm glad i finished that one last night then, even if the reward was slightly pants.

When i get back from college, tonight will be the night of slaying gelatinous desserts. :-w

With the European launch fast approaching this friday, i thought I'd bump this rather than create a new topic. With Wii day on the horizon, what are the European's of the board looking forward to playing? For me, on launch its Zelda.

I'd say to you to get a Wii, and wait for the 360 price drop. Theres going to be a brillaint selection of new games for the Wii over the coming months, such as , and Super smash bros. brawl (Why has nobody mentioned this yet!?). Then theres going to be British designed game Batallion wars 2 with online multiplayer next year, Super mario galaxy, metroid prime 3... I could keep reeling them off, but it would take me a while. Then if you get a 360, you'll have the best of both worlds, though you may want to wait for Halo 3. Burnout is pretty good though. :thumbsup:

A new challenge appears! Right, i have decided to finish my house off once and for all, with that blasted gilded altar. However, i am going to try to make this a bit more challenging by treasure trailing the money! I need around 300k for the two levels i need to create it, and then about 1.2 mil for the altar itself. Current funds: 1 mil! Trails done so far: 6 Current treasure trail items: SARADOMIN CHAPS sold for 300k! What the heck is that supposed to mean? If anything it shows how long you've been playing to other people, like wearing rabbit ears, or having that rubber chicken. Any person could learn how to merchant and get a blue party hat in a matter of days.

So how come someone has already nearly finished getting 99? Unless 5 years passed before my eyes without me noticing. Anyway, i love the skill. It definately has advantages for the other skills, and because the highest reward right now is 71, it means the skill has plenty of room for expansion with new creatures and items to use. There isn't much point in going past 71 except for fun right now, but i can pretty much guarantee that in the coming months Jagex will make the skill worthwhile for those who trained. Short answer: if you don't see a point in training it right now, there will be one.

I find that i was ripping apart people with the red chinchompas in castle wars. They are, as someone already said, excellent support weapons.
