Why would we quit and destroy the game if we like it? Thats just silly. And there is a reason about asking who your fave old man is. Why make a new quest about the Weird Old Man if everyone prefers the Mysterious Old Man. Jagex are not dying, and looking on the official forums to back you up is not a good idea. There are lots of noobs and whiners there.

Why does it cost money to use the saw to plank if your character is doing it himself as opposed to the sawmill guy doing it?

Well, if you do want to do it, make sure you do the Royal Trouble quest. It gives you the extra workers. Without these, you lose money. I get roughly 5k maples per 7 days and I put in 750k. 100% maples, then 50% of your choice (flax, coal and herbs all will make a little money.) You get tree seeds from the nests you get with maples, and these pay off a lot. You can get lucky and make a profit, most times you will just break even. Sorry, I couldn't get online today. Family commitments.
