Nope. It only increases the chance of getting a random gem while mining a regular ore.
  2. Ah, I see, Barbarian would definitely be a good one. Only 4 Magic lvls off it, so if I get the alchs and get to 77 Mage, I can use it and the Superglass spell. Sweet.
  3. Worlds 2, 6 and 9 are your best bets. I've had good success getting a game on World 6.
  4. Smapla is right, its from the quest "Wanted!" At one stage, you have to kill a black knight and the location differs between players.
  5. Don't forget, you only need 61 Crafting for Lunar, not 62. I am also getting 61, at 60 now, I did coifs and am going to finish with battlestaves.
  6. Not too bad for me. 90 Cb, member, 1367 total. 15.18 I'm actually quite pleased with that :D
  7. Woooooo 81 Farm! Go Dus-Tee! Since my blog is dead, can I post my Crafting lvl here? If you don't want it, I'll get rid of it, but since my bloggeh is dead. And your in the pic :P
  8. Elmer Fudd is so ftw! But yeah, I've seen Bob wondering around a fair bit. But I've seen a definite increase in the amount of Evil Bob randoms. Anyone else realise that?
  9. Yes but those are for the cheap weapons, this is one of the most expensive weapons in the game. A ddp++ has a better special and is available at 1/30th of the cost. yes... and a abby whip doubles a ddp's stats doesnt it? Lets see... 30 times the cost of the ddp++ 2 times the stats of the ddp++ stats =D> Somewhere along the line I think it's a little uneven. Could be just me though :wall: So you want something with stats 30 times better? Whats that, +1200 Attack?? Like, (I think it was Icecube) said, the player decides the price. Jagex didn't make the weapon and say it should be worth 2M. Thats why the alch price is quite low. Us players have set the price for the abby whip.

Lol he will get owned by those Ankous. For Rangers, I know Minotaurs aren't bad, but for melee, I'd stick to the beforementioned Rock Crabs, Experiments, Hill Giants or Lessers.
  11. They take 3 hours, 40 minutes to grow, or 220 minutes, but sometimes the timing can be a bit off.
  12. Mamong replied to nk6's topic in Help and Advice
You don't really need to know his stats, he just wants to know if there is anything new that is better than what he mentioned.
  13. Mamong replied to nk6's topic in Help and Advice
Nah, nothing new, those 2 spots are still good for training.
  14. The exact reason I want to do it. They annoy me, I'm going to annoy them. I'm not going telegroup every person who annoys me, just the really annoying ones. I had this one person come up to me the other day, start following me saying "Shun the rich, share the wealth!" "I am Robin Hood, give to the poor" "Shunnn" "Shun you!" This continued for a good half hour, before he came back to me later saying RuneScape is over and Jagex was banning everyone. It's people like this who need to be put somewhere far, far away.
  15. As evil as that is, I don't want to take them to the Wildy, just somewhere like Lunar Isle, just to get rid of them. Besides, I don't have the level for Ice Plateau. :P
  16. If someone kept annoying me and I teleothered them to Lunar Isle, is that considered against the rules?
  17. Mamong replied to teal's topic in Help and Advice
And Rock Crabs will also keep attacking you as well, and they're better xp and much weaker.
  18. Well, I'm not positive on the ACTUAL level, but when I was cooking them a while back, at 56 cooking, I didn't burn either, so it must be below 56 for the stop burn lvl.
  19. What about the cowhide costs? If you need xp, go Coifs. They give the most xp for leather and only cost 1gp to tan the leather, as opposed to 3 for hardleather. Once you get either 54 or 58 crafting, you could try battlestaves. You actually make money doing this. Buy a battlestaff for (7300gp?) and either make or buy orbs. Then enchant the orbs, stick them on the battlestaff and alch them. You get (9300gp?) for alching 1 battlestaff, so you come out making cash. This is good xp and good cash, but enchanting the orbs can take a while, but its worth it.

Oops, my bad. Yeah, just get the steel bars for them (6) and go to an anvil and hopefully someone of a decent lvl should be there, otherwise, just stand in a bank and ask people for help. Or use your friends list, you should have a few friends with the smithing lvl for it. Get them to do it.

    Cows in Lumby? :XD:

Go to the SawMill in Varrock. The guy there sells nails from bronze to steel.
  23. Farming is slow to begin with and will pick up its pace. Don't waste supercompost on trees and fruit trees, pay the farmer. Always farm as many patches as possible and use supercompost on all herbs and allotments as you see fit. Look for quests that give Farm xp as a reward if you are struggling. Good luck, farming is one of the better skills out there! :D
  24. No, Ignore what he said for a while. Try each members skill a little, and see what you think of them. Fletching is easy, chop wood, fletch it and your going. Thieving is self explanatory. Construction will cost a bit of money to level up so if your not rich don't waste your hard earned coins. Farming is quite easy to get into, I recommend you get the thieving level to thieve at least the Farming Stalls, if you need a few seeds, feel free to PM me here or in game and I can donate a few starting seeds. Herblore, you must do the druidic ritual quest before you can even start the skill, so do that quest. Slayer is also an easy skill to get into, just talk to the guy in Burthrope to get started. Agility requires no cash either, but to get going on this you'd want to use the Gnome Stronghold Agility Course to get those lvls flowing. Hunter is also an easy skill to get going. Head to Yanille and buy 2 of each trap to make things easy and then head to a hunting spot to get going. Now, being new to members, the members world can seem large and daunting so opening up the RuneScape World Map is highly recommended. Combine it with a few of Tip.It's skill guides and you'll be having fun with your skills in no time. These quests are useful for new members, and don't require too many member skills to start: Tears of Guthix (Enables a mini game that will level your lowest skill, very helpful) Druidic Ritual, This one is required to start the Herblore Skill, a must do. Lost City, an easy quest that can be done at your lvl easily, and gives access to 2 very good dragon weapons, the Dragon Longsword and the Dragon Dagger. Treasure Trails aren't a bad way to make a little (or a lot!) of cash. They are also a bit of fun and can give some cool new items if you get lucky. Members has plenty of minigames to enjoy. Pest Control is good for combat xp, Castle Wars is great head to head fun, Barbarian Assault is (what I think) a good teamwork game to play with some nice rewards. Thinking off the top of my head, I think that should give you a good start. If you run into any problems, want to ask a question, or would like some Farming seeds to start out with, feel free to PM me here or in game and I'll be happy to help you enjoy RuneScape members! :D *Phew* That was a bit of typing. :P
  25. If he only did Cactuses, he'd never get anywhere. He plants nearly anything, but normally Willows, Calquats and a Fruit Tree (I might be a bit off, but he was growing Calq's and Willows earlier.)
