I don't think so. I'd say its just the bonuses from the clothes you wear that do that. Higher magic lvl means better spells and equipment.

I'm dual booting Xubuntu/Windows XP. I have to say, I'm liking Linux. It's fast, it's simple and it's easy. I can quickly upgrade my Linux Software without me having to do too much, it's all automated. It's very fast, things load and no where near as much lag. And it's simple, none of the Windows bloatware. Openoffice.org is quite good. I only use Windows now for Publisher and non internet gaming.

I think you get something like 2000 Construction xp for selling to the Dorgesh-Kaan.

IMO, get the Penance Gloves and the Fighter Torso, don't bother gambling, you'll end up disappointed.

I'm currently 56 smithing, need 63 for Devious Minds *shudder*. Now, what is a fast and fairly cheapish way to do it, I don't mind losing money though. My current two options: Gold bars using Gold Gauntlets or Smithing and Smelting steel. What do you recommend?

The Easter event sounds alright, liking the looks of these new "bracelets". The HAM quest sounds quite good as I enjoyed the other HAM vs Cave Goblins quests. Not sure about this "new nifty underwater weapon" I mean, we just got the BarrelChest Anchor...We should see an update in a few days I'm guessing.

Cabbage summoning to annoy noobs. Using the cabbage rune, you summon what looks like a green partyhat onto a noob. He see's it go to his head, and he goes crazy. But when the hat reaches his head, it melts into a cabbage that falls off his head and explodes at this feet. :lol:

Examine him, I'm pretty sure it says "He could do with a sip of Amontillado" (or however it's spelt.)

As long as we can A) Move when a cabbage and B) Do our Qp Cape/99 Cape emotes as a cabbage. It's worth going for a cape just to be able to emote as an egg. :P

Just remember, if you don't no life and don't play that long each day, this goal will take much longer. But you have the dedication, so, give it a shot. If it's too hard, it's too hard. No shame in giving up, just give it your best shot. If you come out second best, you could always buy a cheaper rare or invest in some skills.

Alright cool. Since an Admiral Pie gives +5, it will put me to 64 Fishing, so I should get a few Monkies, I mainly want to get this quest done first, then shoot for 62 later on.

I have all the requirements except the 62 fishing. I have 59 fishing at the moment and want to know, could I cook myself an admiral pie and use it's bonus to catch the monkfish during and after the quest or do I need lvl 62 fishing?

Exactly. I often like to throw random parties at my house, and just grab a few people from around for a bit of good times. It's these bug abusers that spoil it for people like me who just want to have some fun in their POH. After the money you dump into it, you want to enjoy it. Jagex have to fix this. I'd happily have one of our weekly updates substituted with a bugfix update, just tying up all these bugs.

How would this work, if it's for summoning then you wouldn't have any attack spells, and I doubt that the monster by themselves would be that effective till a very high lvl Yeah, they are going to start Summoning at lvl 1 unlike Lunar and Ancients with them starting at (53 and 67? Only guessing) Summoning will be the same, maybe a lvl 70 starter spell and it works it way up there. Why bother summoning an Imp, a fat load of help that is. The problem I see with Summoning is that it would be too overpowered. If they make it too weak (like Imps at lvl 50) then no one will cast it. If they make it something like a Steel Dragon (even at lvl 99) that is overkill. I mean, cast that on Tz-Tok Jad and let the dragon do the work. Then, the other problem is, if they make the spells too expensive to cast, your average joe won't use the spells because it's not worth their while. So, if Jagex bring out Summoning, it needs to be well balanced and THOUGHT OUT. A rushed magic expension will be as useless as Lunar.
