I see botting as having no risk now. You can bot all you want and if you get caught, then you lose the lvls you botted. Plus this new incentive! Make a new account in which you bot all the lvls for the fire cape, hard quests (with access to guilds), etc then get banned cause you want to (meaning its desirable now to get caught!). Then enjoy your new lvl 3 (4) or whatever... that has rare access to all of these spots. This is terrible. I mean before this there were a few "rare" accounts such as the 1 hp stat wipe ones who were lvl 1 cmb. Also a few accounts with rare quest unlocks at lvl 3... but it was rare and long fixed. I just cannot believe they would od this, knowing what happened in the past... I say we go back to instant bans. There are always people who have been hacked, but for the most part its quite obvious whether or not someones claim that they were hacked were legit or not.

So, I was running around the GE when I noticed a level 4. Being a typical skiller its always fun to note other skillers in the area. So I took a second look and noticed he was wearing a fire cape. Had to double take a few times to put the two pieces together. Instantaneously I was taking a video... Here is the resulting video with explanation! Basically Jagex recently changed their bot/macro rules from an instant ban to a stat wipe (warning). Meaning he botted his combat stats and killed jad to get the fire cape then was stat wiped. Very impressive to see, but in the end its just a mark of shame. Hope Jagex fixes this issue and wipes their quests/music/items/etc. Because this can obviously be abused. Question: -For the Ardy cape. Is it really impossible? Ive heard but have not been able to confirm whether or not you can partially do wolf whistle. Just so you can learn how to use the obelisk? Would be awesome if you can confirm this. -Also for the darklight you posted that you cannot unequipt it or the quest auto ends? Does this mean you must do this everytime you want to unequipt? or just the first time? Then you buy it back and are able to use it normally? Cause that seems wayyy to risky to ever do on a skiller :o You could add a note that the satchets used to be tradable. Not impossible content since its possible, but previously you did not require the cmb xp. But Shade robes I will say are impossible. Okay, you can in theory recoil the shades... but... they are high hitting and high hp monsters. with a semi-rare drop rate for the robes 1:100 or something obsessively annoying. While the satchels are quite common. Plus! They look exactly like black priest robes :P So I doubt you will see any skillers risking cmb xp there... cause it will probably take a few days of recoiling and lvl 2 atk str def... just to get 1 of the robe pieces. Then if fate hates you, your second piece is a repeat :P But shade robes used to be tradable, so id say add it to the list just for that reason. Perhaps a section discussing different skillers and such? What a 9hp skiller is... how skiller can be lvl 1 combat.... how a skiller can have heroes done... etc. Not really mandatory, and perhaps you have some content on this. He also used extreme potions (since he could not use an overload. Its a 500lp restriction). -You do not gain any combat xp while in barb assault as of the date we did this. I mean its not like it looks faked. But I am sure like some of the crazy things skillers can do, it can be confusing!

The GE though is very flawed, and no one really can deny that. Thus Junk items are needed to help fix certain items. A quick fix for this is obviously moving all the ppl they had fighting bots to just maintain constant prices. Also you have the obvious restrictions that you never had before. Certain items can only be bought in 100's every 24 hours or something along those lines that we never had before. Party hats and other rares are at an all time low, which in my mind goes against all logical predictions. Hell even Duke Freedom predicted they would always rise in the end, even if they had small dips. But of course the GE does not simulate a free market because his prediction here is awfully wrong. The economy really does not look that good, merchants are of a new variety so instead of the old merchants keeping prices up, the new ones just look for certain items that are at a low and rising to sell off when it hits the top. I do not think we are in a good period, I hope the GE is fixed or free trade is renewed although even so, the GE will still linger and be a common choice for selling. So even if trade was not taken out the GE will always burn a hole in the economy as we had known it. People can be lazy when selling, and still make the money they wanted. While in the past you could be lazy and sell to merchants who would make money off you (maintaining higher prices). Oh well, its good and bad and for sure the period we are in is the ugly.

I do not agree with Junk Trading although I do agree the GE is flawed and of course never makes up for free trade in runescape. It also can potentially bring back RWT due to you can easily just sell your Junk to them for gp. All you have to do is buy your 3rd age plate and you get tons of junk that you can redeem for gold. Although you still lose in the end because you pay real world cash im sure there are people out there that will do it. There are many bypasses to the system, and of course among these is the party room (rune plates one at a time) which is slow, BH (risky) but fast, junk trading, and glitches. of course all of them have their downs, if you junk trade you promote RWT and you are just as bad as the people that got us into this mess, if you use the party room its extremely slow, bh is very risky, and of course glitches die as they get around due to people reporting them. In the end as pessimistic as it sounds, we will never win. Junk trades will only bring back RWT and you know people will use it. most people are hypocrites when it comes down to it. They scream and yell about the trade updates and wildy removal. But many people did RWT and many of those people were the ones. Btw, dont pm me about any known trade bypass glitches or even ask me about them.

lowest I have seen? lvl 3 with 61 slayer =) but thats all genies... much higher than that gets to 100's =(

Question... Can I Possibly kill a mith dragon? And how many if any can I kill? I will be using the standard sharks, pray pots, super sets, anti fire pots and so on. My question is... Is my range level too low for this method? People say ranging gets you more kills, so a melee method I am worried about. What armor should I swap up? I know the helm is wrong, it should be changed to an archer but I will buy when It comes down to the raid. Karils a better choice? or will it not really matter much to have black d hide? Ring? dragon stone ring? the luck one? boots? no need for heavy duty right? so I did lightness just to fill the spot. I am feeling I am missing something armor wise, or maybe inventory wise so if someone could post the best possible for me that would be great. Also my stats I am feeling iffy about, are they too low? I really want to try my luck at a full helm, cause GodWarsDungion requires teams so I best not try that. Only way for any decent loot anymore, so hoping to find this method working for me. Even if all of the mith drag logs I have seen have 300+ kills and no helm =(.

Im thinking the article is misunderstood, people are thinking this issue is of macros or having others train your account, or even buying accounts. I do not think, correct me if im wrong, that this article is dealing with those issue. Is dealing with selling gp and using that to train such stats.

Exactly the reason why I don't get why people care so much about what others do. You seem to agree here with one of my main arguements for allowance of RWIT, being that RuneScape is essentially not a competitive game and that the game is what you make of it. It's a Virtual World. It has no starting conditions nor ending conditions. Btw, nicely said

Personaly the authors writing style was not persuasive enough to sway me from the excelent point that Duke posted on runehead editorials. A new system of legal gold trading would reduce macros, not effect the economy, and raise commonly macroed items prices back close to their original. I understand you would find it unfair, that people older are richer and would thus give them a slight avantage. Yet the fact that they still have to train the stat is still in effect, just faster is all. This is not allowing macros at all and would not cheat their way to the top. Its not paying their way to the highscores either, also people spending that much money would be such a small percentage. Just as a small percentage get the special treatment in real life and get born into old money that their parents worked hard for. You are talking of a Utopian society in your writing, although for most what you say applies. Many people can go quickly to the top and get their special treatment. Im sorry to tell you its just not as easy as you state it as. The benefits just are much higher than any issues, such as the one you stated.
