  1. What's the best ranger armor f2p can get? Is it green dragon armor? What's the best mage armor for f2p? Also f2p mages are limited to lv 60 magic? Can members pk on a free world? If so can they use their spells on a free world?
  2. Be advised that if u choose to smelt steel bars all the way to lv 70 it will take approximately 36.9k steel bars to do so. Even if u were smelting them efficiently, which is about 400 bars per hour, it will take 92.25 hours to do. This does not even include the time and money required to gather the materials. As a lv 75 smither this is my suggestion: As a intermediate, smither you should only buy coal for 150 and iron less than a 100. Smith all the steel bars you have and sell plates to horvick at the best time so that you could get roughly 1.1k for each steel plate. This may be tricky. There are players who will buy steel plates for 1k. When you are lv 50 smithing and lv 43 magic, i strongly suggest using superheat when mining mith ores. By using superheat it will save you valuable time by decreasing the number of trips you have to make to deposit ores and by skipping having to withdraw them to smelt them with a furnace. With the mith bars I suggest you save them until you can make mith kites and try to sell for 3k. If you choose to sell mith bars they can go for 1.1k to 1.2k each.
  3. What's the best spot for a lv 81 miner looking to mine mith, addy, and coal? Ideally the hobgoblin mines in the wild is the richest in terms of rocks but how great is the risk conpared the gains and in terms of efficiency? The lumbridge mines would be a good place but it's far from a bank (even with superheat) and it is usually crowded. Also for follow high lv smithers, do u sell what u smith, ie full mith or just high alch the most profitable thing you can smith?
  4. I've been having this problem with my new wireless router. The problem occurs when the labtop is turned on and connects to the router via wireless. This causes the desktop that is already connected to the router by wire to disconnect repeatedly. The router is a dlink DI524. Any idea how to resolve the problem?
  5. yes it does. it's expensive to use but it is worth the money because it saves time. use it when u can mine and smith mith.
  6. From the last week I've had 2 friends get hacked. I've known them for a while and gave them full mith to help them get back on their feet. Because of this I'm considering putting in a bank pin but I'm a little hesitant about making one. So is the threat of being hacked worth putting in a bank pin? My account has been around for less than 5 yrs and still is intact so I figure that if anyone wanted to hack it, they would have gotten it by now. Plus my account is nothing special either.
  7. Jagex should have at least give some warning to the players before putting in this update, since it has such a economic impact. Jagex had good intentions but fail miserably in finding a proper way to stop the microers without screwing the average honest player. I was fortunate not to waste too much time on mining essence (im f2p so in my opinion rc is useless cuz you can't make nats) but like someone mentioned earlier, despite the fact of losing possible millions of gp you should look at the positives, 1) you lucky you didn't lose any real money like the people who invested in the tech bubble a few years back and other bogus companies like enron, 2) you never had 9 million dollars worth of essence to begin with (in accounting things are not valued until after they are sold) 3)now you know not to put all your eggs into one basket. If you still feel upset about the essence update then use this situation your to say convince yourself to say goodbye to runescape for good.
