  1. Hey Rob you suck for liking a band!!! HEADS UP!
  2. Hahaha maybe I should change the title. Anyways, it was indeed a great week Rick.
  3. Yeah that's about the sickest crap I have ever heard. And this is slightly disturbing.
  4. Hahaha  Yes, very very expensive. Ecspecially since 6 of us went, and my parents paid for all of us. You don't even want to know.
  5. If you're not willing (or able?) to back up your morals, then you're always just going to come up against people that have different ones. "Abortion is right. Don't try to overcomplicate things. You're an idiot." Actually, I think abortion is wrong. But I think that it's a rational position to take. One that can be justified. Now I don't want to sound too hostile, but this topic isn't really about making a 'good' argument. It's about how you feel about abortion. Which he obviously thinks is wrong. It's not that hard to understand, and he doesn't really need a lesson on how to make a legit argument. I too think that abortion is wrong. I also think that killing people is wrong, it could just be me.
  6. Yeah I have gone to St Thomas before. It was one of my favorite islands, it's so beautiful. And to Shadow, yes, the buffets are awesome. Ecspecially the Midnight Buffet. I can't believe you mentioned the Soft Serve, and I can't believe that I forgot it. My middle brother [GhostRanger] is obsessed with the Soft Serve machine on the cruises. That is where he spent the majority of his time, and I still don't see how he is 5 inches taller than me and like 120 pounds when he ate about 30 cones a day.
  7. I was on a Cruise the the Western Caribbean, and it was amazingly fantastic. It all started off with a flight down to Florida last Friday. We ate fish on the Ocean, stayed the night at a crappy hotel, then woke up and borded the Legend of the Seas [Royal Caribbean]. We were on the ship for a full day, and it was loaded with women, and food. What else do you need? We laid out by the pool on the 9th floor of this huge boat and listened to a live Steel Drum band. All day we stuffed our faces and acted like the lazy Americans/Canadians that we are. It was awesome! The next day we arrived at Grand Cayman of the Cayman Islands. It was okay, kinda of expensive since their dollar is worth more than ours. But we had our fun. We got to swim with actual sting-rays and hold and feed them. That was pretty awesome, and I ate a 'turtle-burger'. The day after that we were supposed to get off at Costa Maya. The swell [or waves] were way too high. We we tried to doc at the pier we damaged it so we had to spend another day at sea. No effing problem, it was another fantastic day. We laid out, played some pool games, climbed the rock wall, and then ate our faces off. Our fourth day at sea we went to Cozumel, an island off the coast of Mexico. This was amazing! We spent the morning, from about 9:00 to 12:00 on 'Paradise Beach'. We swam in the ocean, and jumped on trampolines actually in the ocean. Then one of my older brothers and I went Parasailing. It was phenomenal!!! If you ever get the chance to do it, live it up! That afternoon we went shopping where everything was about five dollars or less, it was pretty rad as well. The last place we went to was Belize City, Belize. Belize is a small country south of Mexico and East of Guatemala. We went hiking in the rainforest and then after that we went tubing through underground caves!!! It was awesome!!! Althought Belize is a very poor country, it is very beautiful. The other days were left to sailing back, fiestas, and partying. It was amazing! This was the second cruise that I have been on, and if you ever get the chance to go on one you gotta do it!!! I took some pictures of the sites and some of the food. [All of the photos were taken by me, the amazing photographer] This was a parrot on Paradise beach. They're friends. A bridge at Paradise Beach. Chocolate buffet. One of the many ice sculptures at that buffet. This is a bread scuplture. And we ate it. Well sorry about the pictures, or lack there of. My computer is messing up, and I am in a lot of the pictures. We all know how this forum is about Real-Life pictures, so hope you enjoyed!

  11. True that. They are all so amazing and talented. I feel bad about myself after listening to Carter Beauford lay one down.
  12. It was a reply to my statement so don't act like it wasn't.
  13. Okay, since I used a " ". Learn to read, thanks.
  14. No, you still don't understand. There is a difference between knowledge and intuition, and I am saying that in my opinion being intelligent is the same as being intuitive, as opposed to being knowledgeable. Thinking on your feet as opposed to fitting things to a schema. You should stop using the word 'smarter', as it's so broad. Well you obviously know what I am talking about since you are telling me what I am saying. So there is no need for what you are doing, as there is no need for any of your above arguments.
  15. So basically all you did here was pick my post apart word for word, when you know what I meant. Taking Math, like any other 'learning process', it increases knowledge in your brain. Which in the long run, will make you a smarter person.
  16. No, we're not talking about facts here, we are talking about religion. There is an obvious difference, is there not? And you 'Atheists' have your views, and we have ours. There is no combining the two, and there are no agreements.
  17. This is about the dumbest thing I have ever read in my life. First of all, it stereotypes all Christians to be the same, which is flat out ridiculous. Us Christians, meaning me, think that I am a good person because I have good morals. I think that being a Christian gives me a set of morals that I should follow, and my morals are in no way evil or bad. You cannot base what you say off of moral relativism. Write and wrong ethics (NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY) are in NO way arbitrary. You cannot define your own set of morals. (i.e) It is obvious that killing someone is wrong, just becuase you say killing someone is good, doesn't make you a good person. Not only do you generalize all Christians, but you generalize all Athiests. WOW!!! That is like me saying "Every fruit is a banana". This post is worst than any of the above posts, and it is so stereotypically sick. Everything you say disgusts me.
  18. Learning new things makes you more intelligent as a whole. It teaches you to think different ways, and about different things. I thought that was pretty obvious though...
  19. I disagree with the first part. It's what I was told at school and at 6th form, and I ignored it. I am now halfway through a computer science degree, having done computing A level as well (4 years teaching so far) and never had to use anything more than stuff you'd learn before the age of 12 (so far as I remember anyway). I was told that I wouldn't be able to get on a degree course without it, which was wrong. More than half the courses didn't require maths. My father was a programmer for around 12 years, then a systems analyst and now an accountant, having got the job with ZERO maths qualifications (granted, he did some evening classes in accountancy AFTER he got the job... How he got it is another story :P). The point is he didn't do maths before becoming a programmer. HOWEVER... I agree that it might help to hone a logical brain. My family all have good logical brains, we are all that way inclined so perhaps it wasn't necessary to do maths. It MIGHT help develop logic in someone who has problems with it, but it might also make them fail miserably if they can't do well enough. But taking Math can't hurt you can it? It can only make you smarter. :)
