  1. If you call a steel plate good. Happily alch'ed. 8-)
  2. You're fairly limited in getting items on F2P, especially with the bankspace as dwarfie mentioned. But if you insist, you could get items like buckets, ropes, pots and hammers (which are essential in alot of quests and almost all attainable at a general store), that's if you don't already have those. Though you would only save a few seconds by getting those items in F2P compared to getting them once you have members.
  3. You can only win PC when either you manage to keep the Void Knight alive for 20 minutes or by destroying all portals (which is most likely alot easier). You're probably losing because the Void Knight is dying, and note that even if you win you still get teleported back (with a PC point, and sometimes money if you win the game by destroying all the portals). Make sure to check what the Squire has to say at the end of the game. Perhaps you are winning and just not noticing it? :P
  4. Something around level 88 combat. It's been quite a while since.
  5. Most I've held in cash is 6M.
  6. Diango's Toy Store sells toy horses (Black, brown, grey and white) at 150gp each.
  7. Had some spare change after my 'first month of members' spending spree, so I bought a whip for 3.4. I've kept it ever since.
  8. Maybe they use a random number generator to decide whether you get a certain drop. :P Say, a single digit has to be chosen for you to get a "rare" drop. More "rarer" drops would be alot harder to get (getting a single digit in a possible 200 digits let's say). Even though that's probably not the case, but this might explain the "random-ness". Don't quote me on this though. I'm just speculating.

They're used for opening a chest in Taverly. You can get an uncut dragonstone and other items. And yes, it does disappear when you use it, so you'll have to get another one to open the chest again. The exact prices, I'm unaware of.
  10. A Comm-Orb or Communication Orb is a quest item from the 'Wanted!' quest. I'm pretty sure you get it from Sir Tiffy and use it to contact 'Savant' in the quest.
  11. Using deceptive behaviour against deceptive behaviour. How ironic.
  12. All for the better. Swarms may be annoying, but they keep something else probably more annoying away (maybe even just temporarily). Plus, actively trying to get certain random events will either work, or sometimes make you even more disappointed.
  13. I'd say it's best not to worry about such things. My hypothesis: Events happen when you least expect them. The fact that they're random (or uncommon for you, if that's what you believe) gives you that extra 'happy' feeling when you get them.
