  3. That presence that told you not to go to school, that was God man. He's going to help you through this. don't i know it...it's just so hard. i know i am going to know another person on the death list  Your friends aren't dead. They are still alive, just in a location that we can't travel to yet. You'll get to see them all over again in heaven. They will have smiles on their faces, and you'll have a bigger one going from earth to heaven, and knowing everything is okay! Then for eternity, we all have the best time of our lives with our family and friends. ~Defender~ that's true...i know she loved her Lord :) ...just human nature

  5. the bomb threats cancel all classes in the buildings they are made at...and then the bomb squad searches the building remains closed until it is completely searched
  6. no i do not know him....but i just heard that another one of my friends passed away good bye Reema...RIP  that makes 3 that i knew...who knows how many more i can't take this...i have lost like 7 people close to me in 1 year
  7. Had you lived in Virginia, rushed in early and shot the killer, you would be praised for having guns, and not consider a terriost for owning one. Here is the problem. The gun is not the killer. So why are we asking "what do we do with guns?". The problem is the people holding the guns.. what do we do with the people? ~Defender~ make rules ore severe...the US is too lenient...murderers left and right get off of life sentences from pardons...it's ridiculous
  8. Man... That's some mother [bleep] sad [cabbage].... Damn... i know...and the worst part is i only know these people were involved because others know. i don't know the names of the people affected...so it could very well increase
  9. i know 2 people who were shot...1 is dead, the other had a bullet graze her forehead the girl who had the bullet graze her forehead gave me a tour my 3rd day to show me where my classes were... the other girl i know through someone else... i will be attending the memorial service tomorrow...so if any1 else is in the area and going...pm me so we can grieve together O:)
  10. i'm seriously crying right now....i just can't believe how many people care for me... on Mayhem Makers there is a 20 page thread and every1 just says "You were the first person i thought of"...it really...wow it's unbelievable
  11. yeah they set up counseling right away and it's available to anyone who needs it and as CNN said: "This is a tragedy in American history. So for today, forget any and all of your college affiliations. For today, we are all Hokies." -CNN
  12. when i went to get something to eat at the 2nd largest dining hall in the United States...it was so somber...not 1 person said a word while they ate.
  13. the guy Matt Peterson on the phone is a friend of mine...I didn't realize he was so close to the bodies gotta talk to him about it later
  14. i just went and got something to eat...cops everywhere you can't go many places...most buildings are cut off from students and faculty... i know of one person who was shot...she wasn't killed though. it was one of my friend's girlfriend
  15. below from what i screen shotted there was a correction that apologized for spelling it wrong
  16. You're right, you can kill with practically anything. There's no way that a person with a knife/baseball bat would have gone through so many people's lives so quickly than someone with a gun, though. not to mention it's A LOT harder to kill someone with a knife or a bat...it takes a hell of a lot more balls. a gun...you pull a trigger
  17. i was actually asleep. Ambler Johnson is right across from Pritchard Hall (my residence). i woke up at 7:15 to go to class, but then decided because i was in the hospital all night (and something in my head), i didn't go to class and just skipped class. i woke upat 10:25 and saw all this mess if i had gone to class...i would have walked through Norris Hall on my way to class
  18. -Po your brother goes here? i really hope he is ok man :uhh:
  19. when are you applying? i'll give you a tour if you decide to come here and i am eager to know why we wern't on lock down after the first shots
  20. our punishments are not very deterring...and are very lenient.
  21. it doesn't take a lot of courage to pull a trigger it's a lot harder to stab someone
  22. You're blaming this on the US because they allow their citizens to have guns? even i will blame this on that. people are too greedy in their freedoms here and need to learn where to draw the line...like they said..it's not a coincidence that the US has so many murders like this yet it's not common anywhere else
  23. 32 casualties now mate i am so lucky i skipped class...as you know i am in engineering and my class was over there. if it wasn't for me going to the hospital last night...i wouldn't have skipped
  24. i agree...but then you'll have people who go nuts when you take their "freedoms" away and pull some crap in court that you're not allowed to do this...blah blah blah it's so easy to get a gun here...a 9 yr old could get a hold of one
